Steve Harvey has very common sense approach to some of the dilemmas that women face on a regular basis but can't seem to see because they look with the heart instead with their brain he sets things straight. Practical and funny.

The original was better, there was a lot of repetition in this book but there was still an abundance of information to take away from it. It's like being able to eavesdrop on men's conversations amongst each other. It offered a lot of insight.
A Novel (Liam Taggart and Catherine Lockhart) - Saving Sophie :: Class Struggle to the War On Terror (Volume 2) - A Young People's History of the United States :: Septimus Heap, Book Three: Physik :: Queste: Septimus Heap, Book Four :: The Secrets of Sir Richard Kenworthy (Smythe-Smith Quartet Book 4)

As with all books, this book had some really great information, as well as some content that was not necessarily applicable to me. Then again, *no* book can have all content applicable to everyone. The pieces that were applicable were life changing. I'm embarrassed to say that while some of it is just good old fashioned common sense, sometimes you need an objective third party sharing it for it to really resonate. I am giving this book 4 stars because Steve's comments and feedback throughout the book brought me to tears - it was a really great reality check.

I read his first book and found the information very useful and this book is like the icing on top, he goes into more detail and gives more useful information about how men think and how they tick. I will definitely use this book for reference.

Well written and great tips. The type of breakdown of the game I had always been looking for. Thank you Steve Harvey you really changed my life and got me thinking and applying my standards the way they should have been applied over the years. Your books are the best resources on the game for women.

There are so many mysteries to the opposite sex but this book serves to give a much clearer insight to the madness. I can honestly say it has helped me quite a bit.. Men are extremely interesting, I'll say that. Wow! Thank you Big Daddy!

Another winner by Steve Harvey. Bought this book with "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man", and read it after reading "Act Like...". Although not totally necessary, I recommend reading "Act Like..." first, as there are many references to it in "Straight Talk". Both books are easy reads and are exactly what we've come to expect from Steve Harvey: straight forward advice presented with humor. Definitely gives a new twist to women's approach to men. If you can only read one of these books though, I would recommend "Act Like...".

Well, after reading Act like a Lady, Think like a man, it would be only sensible to read Straight Talk. This book further teaches and emphasizes on the last book. It highlights old idea and introduce new ones. I am a Children's author of Can you see my hand? A lesson on faith. I choose to read this book because it is one that I always wanted to read. As an author you should support others. This is my support. It is not like he needs it but it can't do nothing but prosper.
Like I said in the last review, I liked it most when he speaks of his wife. It really shows his genuine love for her. After reading chapter 2, it made me feel like there isn't much help for finding male companionship after he gets around age 45. Pg.31
I learned something new in regards to sugar daddies. The topic alone is quite frightening. If you have not read it for yourself you have to. A sugar daddy is the same as a ¨sponsor¨ or ¨player.¨ They are no longer old. They can be a celebrity; from NBA to Rapper. They can be anyone. You will find yourself ¨prostituting and you don't know it¨ ¨$3000¨ is nothing to some of these people. pg 56-57
I like it when he gave tips on better ways to communicate with your man instead of Nagging. I like how he called it a ¨N¨ word as if it is a bad word. I like how he uses his wife as a great example and alternative for great communication. p 158.
Last but not least, I like the chapter about the cookie where he supports his thought on the 90 day rule. pg 129.
Over all the book is great.
If I would request this book to anyone, it would be my friend Monique. If you have read act like a lady, think like a man, you should as well read this book. It makes great since.

What I loved about "Straight Talk, No Chaser" was that it was an easy to read book. I wish I had had this book when I was married because I think I would have handled many things differently. I want my daughters to read this book because it will help them and for sure it can't hurt. Reading in and of itself helps one with different ways of seeing a situation. And in relationships, we often need to look at our situations differently. Even though some of us are in stages of our lives where parts of the book don't apply anymore, it still can be read. Just take what you need and disregard the rest or just help a daughter, niece or friend.

I am very happy with my purchase. The book arrived a day earlier than estimated delivery date. The item is in great condition. The beginning of the book compliments the previous Act Like A Lady, Think A Man. Purchase it!

This book helped me understand the reasoning behind what and how men think. Women are emotional and get very wrapped up in their feelings. Steve explains why men react and act the way they do, what they think about our actions, and how to successfully recover from a breakup.
