The story is quite predictable, no surprises. Seems like a book written while really thinking of something else..
I appreciate it is not easy to find new ideas all the time, this was not one of the best.

how did this get so many positive reviews?? this is the first book I've read by Mary Higgins Clark, and I'm shocked that she's made a career for herself as a writer. I've never read anything so poorly written in my life. I can't even tell you if I liked the story, because it was so poorly written. my eyes actually hurt from rolling so much.
