(Kindle Unlimited.) Sheriff Hayden continues his search in the western parts of the former United States, for Natalia, his wife, in an Earth overrun and destroyed by the trifes and goliaths. A good, honest, man-of-his-word, person who always does what's right is a rare commodity in these disastrous times. Almost non-stop reading.

Sincerely enjoyed this series - Throughout each book, I had developed plausible theories as to what exactly was happening and why, only to be consistently delighted when the writer took the story in a completely unexpected direction! Every time I thought something "predictable" was coming, I was wrong. It's refreshing to read! A little dark at times, but a delightful experience nonetheless. I finished the entire series in three days and am looking for more works by M.R. Forbes - well done!

Good sequel to a fun series. Genre goes from scifi/outerspace to dystopian thriller. Very interesting with a cohesive theme through out. Looking forward to #3. Forbes really knows his way around a series.

The world is in turmoil. An alien species has taken over. It is at the mercy of bands of predators, aliens and itself. There are isolated pockets of survivors who think they are on a starship going to the stars. The reality is that they never left earth. This is the story of two of those survivors.

Action\Adventure serial. Reminds me of Damnation Alley...Dead Lands Survivalist type reads. A little RPG/Video game type scripted from challenge one on to the next with expected cliffhangers and conveniently timed power ups and reload caches. But a fun read nevertheless. I'll be picking up the next one when it pops out of the magic box.

This post apocalyptic sci fi western series is outstanding! The characters are well-developed, the action is fast-paced, and the writing clear and tight. The suspense and cliffhangers and also there making it a fast read. Looking forward to continuing in the series.

m.r. forbes is an adept storyteller. The books in this series are engrossing and action packed. "forgotten" is somewhat reminiscent of Hugh Howey's Silo Series and equally as hard to put down, and Forsaken.
I am looking forward to more in this series.

Natalia, an accomplished intelligent woman deeply in love with Haydon, decides to compromise her virtue in some vain attempt to get back at the bad guys. This right after seeing her dream husband fighting tooth and nail to get back to her. Using the "women are so easily fooled" gig is such a tawdry way to create tension in the plot. I guess she's pregnent now (awkward) and will have to deal with the who's the daddy issues. Kid's going to need a name too, I'm thinking "Casper." Get it, the friendly ghost. Anyway, this plot point just kills the story. What a shame.

Really enjoyed this iteration of Forsaken. Definitely is a nonstop wild ride through futuristic earth. I would like to see bit less of the same alien vs Hayden fights supplemented with more adventure.

I am hooked on this series of books. Very suspenseful and it is action packed. My favorite part is really all of the carefully developed characters like Hayden, Natalia and Chains. I am on to the next book.

Great continuation of previous book that manages to entertain without falling into same tedious post apocalyptic novels that abound nowadays. For $5 (or free if Kindle unlimited) you really cannot go wrong here

After the fast pace craziness of book one this book seemed to fall flat for me. Still a decent overall novel but it didn't keep me reading and guessing what would happen next. Plus the whole idea that there is only evil or victims in the world didn't really jive with me. Overall it was ok.

This is turning into a great series. Some predictable parts but these are outweighed by the twists Great characters too. I am looking forward to the third in this series. Wish I didn't have to wait!

This book is like reader candy. A fun way to spend a rainy afternoon by losing oneself in a dystopian world that just might be saved by a really brave, devoted husband.
