Mr. Conway again has given us another fun and the packed comment on Florida, or as we who live here know it -- The State of Perpetual Weirdness!

Fortunately, the flashes of brilliance save this book from bogging down in the mundane court scenes. I *work* in the legal field and even *I* found myself alternately confused and bored with much of the trial scenes. However, bracketed around that was much of the to-be-expected zaniness that we adoring fans have come to expect and crave. Other reviewers have commented that Serge has slowed down and Coleman was unusually lucid and I agree... it was a new touch that took a little getting used to but in the end while I have to admit this isn't Tim Dorsey's finest work, it was an improvement over a couple of more recent weaker novels. Suck it up and enjoy the crazy ride!
