While the writing and storyline were both okay, I absolutely hate a cliff hanger when there is no warning that there will be one. The entire story was a waste of time when none of the conflicts and problems of the story, of which there are plenty, are solved.

I did not read the reviews before reading the book. I will from now on. This book was free for me but even at that price, it was not worth it. I expect a book to have an ending. The ending to this book is "buy book two." What a ripoff even at zero cost.

Just Holy Smokes!!!!! I picked up my tablet yesterday and started reading Hitched: Imperfect Love, Volume I by Kendall Ryan. I was definitely not disappointed by this read. Kendall Ryan is one of those authors that never disappoints.
In this first installment of Hitched, we are introduced to Noah Tate and Olivia Crane, the children of two fathers that are best friends and owners of a multi-billion dollar company. After Olivia’s father passes, it is discovered that he made a few stipulations in his Will that are not going to go over too well with Olivia–In order for Olivia and Noah to inherit their 50/50 share of the company, the two must get Married! How in the hell are they supposed to pull this off! Olivia seems to hate Noah’s guts. Noah is a playboy, that happens to be Drop-Dead-Gorgeous, while Olivia comes off as a hard-as-nails business woman, a bit prudish.
These two come to a compromise and agree to try to be friends and work on this relationship for strictly Business Purposes only, well, Olivia sees it as Business Only, whereas Noah would love to take things a little further.
With their wedding day here, will they go through with it, will one of them back out? Pick up a Copy of Hitched: Imperfect Love, Volume I to find out!

I really like Noah and his snowflake ( hate the pet name though), Olivia. It seems as though Ms Ryan couldn't stick with a back story though. One minute they hung out together all the time when they were younger and the next the hardly know one another. Which is it? Want the rest of their story NOW

The tension between lifelong friends Noah Tate and Olivia Cane is smoking! Because of his playboy nature, though, she stays guarded. The problem is, they have to try to save the struggling marketing firm their fathers started. An even bigger problem, they have to get married within 90 days to keep control of the company. Their fathers set stipulations in their wills dictating they must wed to maintain controlling ownership of Tate & Crane. Nobody expected such an early death of Noah's dad, along with a sudden diagnosis of cancer for Olivia's dad.
That's what makes all of this so difficult, because initially, Olivia can't stand Noah. That's what makes it so hard to like him. She is a serious workaholic, but a romantic at heart who just wants to be swept off her feet. Another reason she struggles with accepting this contractual obligation disguised as a marriage.
Noah has been in lust with Olivia for as long as he an remember. Now he has the opportunity to make this real, but will she give in to save the family company?

Very disappointed that this is a 3 part book series. The story is ok, although I think Kendall's other books are better. The story flip flops too much. One minute they like each other, the next minute they hate each other. They are being forced to marry are have a child so they can keep the business in the family. How can the have worked in the same company for years and never crossed paths? Lacks reality.

My mistake, didn't read the reviews and was surprised to find it ended in a cliff hanger. Story wasn't too bad but they're were a few times I wanted to roll my eyes and walk away from the scene. Also, there's this bet at one point and I'm pretty sure one of the conditions of the bet is violated but it's never mentioned so the incongruity there really annoyed me.

The writer lures you into the story with these amazing and witty characters with a bit of eccentric touch and you can't help turning these pages and consuming every word until your so hooked you never want their story to end.

Fun and flirty. Not your idea marriage....but to save your family's multimillion dollar company and follow your father's will....you will make it ideal. A great fun read with a twist at the end you never see coming. Can't wait for the next installment of Hitched.

This book was funny, the premise seemed outrageous but hilarious so I took a chance cause I really like this author and I'm glad I did. I was seriously hooked. I knew going in there was going to be 3 books and I was glad that there was little time between the releases because it's a bummer waiting a long time between books when you get addicted to a series.

Total cliffhanger. I like books that bring you in with all the characters wanting you to buy the next book to see how the next character does. Won’t be buying the next book since it will probably be another cliffhanger.

Ugh! I hate cliffhangers. To me they are just a way to get more money. If a book is good enough, I will keep buying the next in the series. Only one cliffhanger left me wanting more. This isn't it.

I found the book amazing I was wondering what would happen next. I really did not think the ending was going in to happen like that that. I thought she (Olivia) would have had a cow about the final contract that they received. Great book can't wait to read the second.

I wish authors would tell you when you are buying one third of a book. The storyline was interesting enough, if somewhat unrealistic, but this is NOT a complete novel. There is no climax, no denouement. If I buy a book, I expect a complete novel, not part of a serialisation. I am left feeling as if I’ve fallen victim to a scam.

Although well written, this book would have been better titled "Part 1" . Hanging sub-plotlines can be handled in subsequent books, but I feel continuing the primary plotline without a conclusion in a "Book 1" is misleading. Rather than encouraging me to purchase Book 2 (3, 4...) in order to continue the saga, I'll stop here. If it had been honestly titled Part 1, I would have a different attitude.

I found the book a little frustrating. For once the girl is one playing the guys part, Olivia. Noah is guy who mooning over her since forever. I love/hate cliffhangers, but in this book hate a cliffhanger. For reason the characters just teased each other.

I dislike books that aren't a finished product. There is no resolution at the end of this. Sequels are awesome. Trilogies that you can't get the full impact of without reading every book are great. But each piece should still have a beginning, middle, and end. This has a nice beginning, a middle, and then it just stopped. Grr.

This book kind of defies category. It could almost be a fairy tale of two dad's knowing their kids should be together & going to ridiculous lengths to make it happen. They really do need help.
Noah has had a crush on Olivia for 20 years, but she's been openly hostile to him for the last 6 years or so for *reasons*. How does he woo her? He pulls out his penis at a restaurant. So this could be comedy erotica? But there aren't other moments of ridiculous humor & no actual sex. Then, he spends so much time thinking sweet, romantic things-only to treat her like a sex object whenever he talks.
Then Olivia knows she has to marry him in order to save her business. She only cares about her business, but then gets so caught up in not wanting to be wooed by Noah, because he is slutty, that she doesn't let him woo her, which needs to happen to save their business.
The two of them work so hard against their own best interest it feels more like a lot of plot devices to keep them apart then the story of an "ice queen" learning to loosen up & a "playboy" learning to mature.
*one editing note: a story about his friend taking his cousin to prom is copy & pasted in 2 parts of the book. That was the only glaring error that popped me out of the story.

I am definitely hooked on this series. The 2 main characters are so well thought out. They blend together and make this book swoon worthy. The plot twist at the perfect time has me desperate to read the next book.

This book didn't take anytime getting into the main plot which I liked but as I continued to read it. The story line danged a little. I love this author's books, but this one is different than the others.
As I finished this book I can't wait to see what brad told Olivia that had her running.

A very over used plot. A marriage of convenience to reach a goal. I love the characters, and their realistic thoughts and actions. However, this series cannot be read as a stand-alone. I’m torn between paying for the next volume or starting something new.

This book is completely unfinished. I was very frustrated to read through this entire book, wanting the prince to win his damsel so to to speak, to be left quite unsatisfied with what could only be described as a bad ending to an unfinished story.
