Treat (what an awesome name) just can't get someone off his mind. He met a woman at his resort and he wasn't expecting the response his heart gave him. It would be months before he run into Max again, but when he does it is such a fun romance. Sometimes people really are not who you perceive them to be.
This is such a wonderful read. There are more books in the series and I can't wait to read them.

At first I was a little skeptical about buying the book, but I'm glad that I did because it was so good. I started reading the book and could not put the bok down. The ending was great although I was kinda hoping for Max to chase after him not Treat chasing after her. I don't know if anyone elss agrees but it seems like every book I've read its always the guy chasing after the girl and not the girl chasing after the guy. I mean its great that he's chasing his girl but come on she's got to chase him after him sometime. Id love to see that in a book I read. Please have the girl chasing after her guy written into another one of your fantastic and must read novel (s). If anyone is hesitating buying this book don't hesitate and BUY it.....I guarentee you won't regret buying it. I'll be looking to buy more novels from this author.

I got very tired of the "no communication" between the main characters and just running in the opposite direction. Assumptions get old when it is over and over. I will try the next one in the series since I am hopeful this storyline is out of the way!

This was a wonderful story. Treat was a wonderful, kind, caring man. Max was very insecure and considering her past, I don't blame her. Treat never gave up on her no matter how many times she ran. He is the kind of guy you want happily ever with. The only thing I hated is how often she ran away from him. She was happy, then ran; Happy than ran, etc. Otherwise this was a great story.

I loved how this story started.
The author had really brought each character to life but something went wrong mid way. I couldn't understand why Max seemed so broken. Her abusive relationship needed to be explained earlier.
Also the side story of the family having similar demons just took long as well as the Max and Kaylie scenes. The story could have been shorter and more entertaining and thrilling.

Series getting better and better. Can get a little annoying when the girl are so in love and ready for the future with the love of her life and the next moment back in past with all sort of hick-ups. But over all the story is good and exciting, read till you get to the end. This whole series is a must read. Some hot love scenes.

The Braden family is one that I would personally want to be adopted into; they had money but were very down to earth people who loved and respected each other the way a family should.
Max and Treat each had their own demons they had to overcome before they could truly commit to each other. It's the type of love story that fairy tales are made of. Some might consider Max a fickle young woman but when you read about her back story (her demon) you understand why she would have difficulty committing to Treat. Treat, while young, good looking and wealthy, had never truly recovered from the death of his mother and how he felt he had let down his father and siblings.
I was very pleased with the book and can't wait to see what's next for the Bradens in the next "chapter".

Max Armstrong and Treat Braden meet at a family event at one of Treat's resorts. Max runs scared while Treat simply runs. They meet up again in Colorado at a community event. Will the insecurity Max feels be changed by Treats love for her?

An instant attraction between two strangers, then chance meetings after that. Between Max and Treat, life becomes a series of meetings, intimacy and then needing time apart. Past happenings are going to be resolved. Part of a series, having a strong family presence.

Trent Braden, the tall and exceptionally good looking owner of a resort empire met his match in Max Armstrong when she first met him at his cousin's wedding at one of his resorts. After he judged Max wrong and harshly, fate stepped in when he returned home to visit his family and saw Max again and knew they were Lovers at Heart: Trent Braden found the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
Max was still hurt and had baggage of her own to make the commitment to a new relationship difficult. Working out their difficulties made a great love story with the support of Trent's family and Max's friends they finally crash into each other when fate brings them together again.

Love her writing-keeps me interested. I am truly enjoying meeting and getting to know the entire family in her books. If you enjoy a good story-well written, start reading here! Not much I can add to the other reviews-other than to say, buy the books :) You can read them out of sequence, but it is much better to just start with book one and keep reading! Melissa Foster does a great job.

What a great book! Thank you for sharing Treat and Max's story. Treat is a wonderful and patient man, I'll take him!! Glad Max finally got her head straight and couldn't let that man go. Can't wait to read about the rest of the family members.

Somewhat unrealistic but the underlying issues with the two main characters still made a nice love story. I especially liked how both characters were able to deal with their past and how they came to realize that they could not be with each other until they addressed their fears. Definitely will read Book Two.

Treat Braden is a successful hotel and resort entrepreneur who is so busy he doesn't really have time for love. So why was it that all he could think about for the past six months was Max Armstrong, a woman who organized a wedding at his Nassua resort.
He needs to get away. The stress of his job and thinking about the girl who got away are just too much. So what better way than to spend time with his family on their ranch in Colorado. What he never expected was to run into Max.
Sparks fly between the two but Max is running from her own set of problems. The only thing is that Treat wasn't going to let another opportunity pass him by. Both have been hurt in the past but can they let down their guards long enough to see what's right in front of them?
Treat and Max were frustrating yet when they clicked it was scorching hot. I really loved this book and can't wait to read about the rest of the Braden Family!

Enjoyed this Author very much and will read more of her work. She made the characters all but jump off the pages. They had real issues and real life fears. There were enough twists, turns and unexpected mazes to entertain yet be appealing. This Author is on point with her writing being sensual !

And all was well, getting into the story and boom.....SEX comes barreling out in mega doses. Man, I didn't expect that much graphic sex in the beginning and it totally turned me off. I mean, it described everything and some things are best kept to yourself.... Absolutely not interested in that much that fast that graphic.. I will not finish it.

Awesomely written. I was in tears as the story drew to a close and Max and Treat struggled to finally make their way back to each other; as Treat fought off his buried demons. Lots of good lessons throughout this book.
I look forward to reading more in the Braden series.

I never write reviews - ever - simply because what may be good and enjoyable to one person, may not be true for another, but I was very disappointed in this book. The premise of the book was good - rich millionaire Treat Braden meets Max, a woman whom he was attracted to but didn't act on that impulse right away; and Max has the same attraction to Treat but is too terrified of her own shadow to act on it. When he sees her the next morning in the clothes from the night before, he assumes the worst about her but can't stop forgetting about her and decides he needs a vacation so he goes home and runs into her. He pursues her, he tries to apologize to her but she doesn't want to hear it, but she is willing to have sex with him, and half way through the act she freezes and kicks him out. This is where the story starts to get annoying and dragged out.
First, these two characters have way too many issues and the book tries to address them all which drags the book on and on - I can read a book in a day, but this one is taking a little longer. Second, if Max had been as tramautized as she was from her previous relationships, why doesn't anyone know? Why didn't she get help? Honestly, both of these characters need a lot of help! They are shallow - Treat decides he is love with this woman and spends so much time crying and carrying on I started to find him really unappealing. Max decides she is in love with Treat, but she has SERIOUS issues, that she is willing to sabotage everything.
I was really disappointed with this book, luckily it was free. I miss writers who aren't afraid to have strong women, and men, as lead characters and empower their characters to live their lives - lately every romance novel I have read has whiny, milksop characters and this book is no different.

thought it was a quick enjoyable read. The characters are warm and of course not believable as is with romance novels. But, enough to get you rooting for love to win over. Good family characters to follow, all with different personalities, should be an interesting series. Like Foster, she has humor too

so many lessons learned. especially about fate. what's meant to be will be. Loved the loves shown. communication is key and going back and facing the demons. so important to be able to move on. Like when I take something away from a good read to utilize for myself.

Great story which kept you entertained from the first to the last involving real life situations you would see in the beginning of any relationship. Liked the fact she introduced several uniques characters to build additional books about this fabulous family.

A very nice romance filled with characters that have human insecurities just like everyday people. Skelton's in the closet are unfolding in the lives of this author's characters and maybe love can overcome the ghost's.

I would recommend this book to someone looking for a steaming, but not obscene, romance novel.
