Baking instructions: Write one whole book. Divide this book into two parts. Take first section of book and publish in March 2011. Before publishing, add many pages of recipes to add bulk. Use next section of book by publishing at a later date. Turn up the heat on customers by charging them for a fully written book. Let them do a slow simmer.

In the past this series was great fun and I own every single book. But my purchasing new books may not continue. Please bring back the charming books of the past. The author continuing to pad her books with an outlandish number of recipes in order to make time for writing a Regency series is going to be her ruination.

As in my other reviews for the Hannah Swensen series, I have read all of the books so far, and I am on my second read through in the series. I am trying to collect the entire series. I (personally) still get a little frustrated that Hannah wants her independence so much that she can't decide between her 2 boyfriends. But I enjoy watching the characters evolve. This book is just as good as the other ones. They are well written and an easy read, and I look forward to the new one in the series.

To Joanne devil's food cake murder was very good I haven tried any of the recipes out because Iam on a diet of sushi which the doctor told me to go on to loose weight back to the book as I said it was very good but a little bit slow in the middle I would like to see more murders say about 2 or 3 but the ending was good

Joanne Fluke is on of my favorite writers. I love this series and have purchased every one in the series....and that's A LOT!!! Very funny, easy read when you just want to be entertained.

I especially love the fact that you get recipes in each book. I am a baker and love to try new recipes.

Always on the lookout for the next Joanna's Hannah Swenson's book in the series. For a cookie shop owner she sure finds a lot of dead bodies. (Some of them need to be that way.) Of course the recipes included look pretty good! Her writing is good and filled with that element of trying to guess whodunit.

I stumbled upon this series by accident while shopping on the store. I have since downloaded and read every book available on my kindle. Not only are the mysteries easy reads and fun loving but she has started a baking frenzy at my house like never before. Her recipes are all fabulous!!!!

Hilarious series about a cookie shop owner who solves murderer mysteries in her spare time. Her sisters help solve the crimes as the series goes on. Yummy recipes included in just about every chapter.

As always, Hannah figures out whodunit with style, skill, and lots and lots of tasty treats along the way! I definitely plan to come back for more - this is one sleuth who deserves the title of "super," and her recipes are delicious; my friends and family love them too! No matter how you slice it, Joanne Fluke's books are something I love to sink my teeth into!

This was a great installment to the mystery series. I couldn't figure out what was going on until the end of the book. I feel that the love triangle between Hannah, Mike and Norman is finally going somewhere. I can't wait to see what will happen next.

These novels are mindless and just what I need after a difficult day! I like the characters and enjoy reading about their experiences. If you want to read another series with lovable people, read Doe Brownfield's books, also on kindle.

Loved Devils Food Cake Murder. The recipes are great, the story makes you come back and buy the next book,
I have read 15 of the books already and can't wait for the next. I recommend for a fast and entertaining read.

I listened to this book on an audio download first and enjoyed it as much or more than I have the other Hannah Swensen books. I decided to purchase the Kindle version to obtain the recipes easier. It was well worth the low price and I have already made the "Carrot Oatmeal Muffins" with a few additions of my own. Yummy and healthy.

Love all the Hannah Swensen books. Great recipes included as a bonus. They are a good escape and spending time with the recurring characters is always fun. Now there is a Hallmark Channel series based on the books.

This series is light on everything except calories. It is fun, though simple reading and the recipes are always a mental food fix. Have made several and they always get good family reviews. Joan H.

She never disappoints a reader. She goes straight to it and continues peeking until the end of the book! I totally enjoyed the twist and turns right up the last paragraph....where it ended with a teaser!

I have really enjoyed the Hannah Swensen mysteries. This book was about the same as the others....cept when it comes to Norman. That was a surprise......Hannah does need to make a decision soon though about her love life, as that aspect is getting a little stale.
I still look forward to the next book.

The book keep you interested from start to finish. I do like the anticipation when the book ends with Norman being engaged to Dr. Bev. and their having a child together. OK! How is he going to get out of this one? Good way to end a book.
