This is a series that is really appropriate for all ages. It's really engaging. I always look forward to my next Hannah book. Each book contained great recipes too.
I will admit if you pick this up mid-series, you're missing out on a lot of history - but it can be done without ruining the story, or leaving the reader feeling lost.
If you love cozies, you'll love Cream Puff Murder!

I am hooked on the Hannah Swensen mysteries and there recipes in the books. Both are so wonderful. I have gotten to know the characters quite well. Wish Hannah would decide between Mike and Norman. Guess that is a mystery for another book. This story has a few twists that were unexpected. Karma befalls one of the women's least favorite people. It is left to Hannah to discover the murder and bring them to justice.

I loved reading this Joanne Fluke book, because it had a great mystery to solve plus wonderful recipes to make. I actually made the jello recipe for our family outing. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery.

This series of bakery murders is addicting. The author writes in such a manner that you can also read each book as a stand alone novel and enjoy the story line. Reading the books in order does give more background as each book builds on the previous one.

If I haven't read all the Hannah Swensen mysteries, must be close. While most of the time I can figure out who did it, sometimes she surprises me. I enjoy rereading the books just to visualizing the pictures she paints with the words.

Great series. There's a little back story so you'll want the whole series, but for the most part, you can pick one up and understand the storyline without fear of not understanding the backstory of the characters.

WOW I sure guessed the wrong person as the killer in this one. Another great mystery and things between Hannah and Mike, as well as Hannah and Norman take an interesting turn. Am excited to see what happens next.

Another super good Hannah Swensen book, full of situations only she could encounter. Her two suitors play prominent roles and add to the mystery. Along with great recipes to try, you will enjoy it from beginning to end!

All the Hannah Swenson Mysteries are wonderful they are light hearted make you smile mysteries "cozy mysteries" (not scary, gory, or sad) but they are actually really good "keep you guessing" mysteries. I have read the first four and have now bought all Hannah books and anthologies for my Kindle, I just cannot put them down. Plus if you are someone who likes to bake you will love all the recipes that come with each story. I just book mark each recipe as I come to it on my Kindle and then they are super easy to find when I need them. I would recommend the entire series. Also the author, Joanne Fluke, is super nice. I e-mailed her once, when one of the cookie recipes I made did not turn out right, just to see what I might have done wrong and she actually e-mailed me back a couple hours later. Just a super nice person and a wonderful mystery writer.

I love every Joanne Fluke book that I have bought. I'm currently on the Cream Puff murder and look forward to finishing just so I can read the next! It's also great for readers who want to pick up and start anywhere in the series because they explain who and what is going on in detail. I really love these murder mysteries with wonderful recipes and would recommend that if you enjoy fun murder mysteries this is the collection for you!

Joanne Fluke is on of my favorite writers. I love this series and have purchased every one in the series....and that's A LOT!!! Very funny, easy read when you just want to be entertained.

I especially love the fact that you get recipes in each book. I am a baker and love to try new recipes.

The Hannah Swensen series keeps me interested without all the behind the bedroom door "scenes" I'd rather not read about. I love the recipes with Hannah's "notes". I now have two of my sisters reading the series. Thanks Joanne! :)
