Like the others in this series, this book keeps you wanting to read to see what happens. It's hard to put down. There's suspense, love, danger, fun, terror, happiness, and dread. It has it all. You really don't want it to end. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and all the others in the series.

Some of the most enjoyable survivalist/prepper fiction I've read. Not as much political commentary as most which is a nice break. Also great for me as it's set in Central Florida(where I live) and accurately portrays the locations and local details.

This entire series should be an eye opener for our country. All political and government issues aside; we, as a country have lost so many skills that this is a real possibility. As for another side, how many people that want what is their's until you have more and then feel you should share do you know? The old show "Doomsday Prepper's" had one thing very wrong, keep what you have a complete secret from anyone suspect. Collaborate with only those that you can trust and to steal a phrase from an organization that has been around for over a hundred years; "Be Prepared!"

Great story and excellent characters. The main story line is good, but very predictable. The author paints a too nice picture of TEOTWAWKI. While a series that I enjoy reading, a more dire and violent outcome would be more realistic.

I enjoyed reading the latest installment. Family problems with children added realism to the story and I found I could not wait to find out the results of the operation to help detainees. Leaves me wondering if there will be another book and what it will encompass.

Besides writing too much about food and how it is prepared, this book continued to follow it's prequel books in context and characters well scripted. I'd like a bit more relationship based story line, but overall this series has really been terrific.

Good storyline, especially in the first two books, and though it strays into the special ops / snake-eater meme at times, it remains a good read to the end. Recommended for for a quick weekend read after the work is done and the tools are put up. It certainly beats the crap they have on TV these days.

Great series, from the beginning book, Going home and finally to this one
the characters exploits were well described which made for an exciting story.
Sarge was one of the strong characters , he was a piece of work ! Great read,

I love this series, love the characters. I was expecting more action and for that I give it four stars. I will continue reading this authors work and hope there is a book to follow. If you have read the other books in this series you will enjoy this one too.

Enjoying the series. Really makes you think about what you have and what you don't have and the skills you might have. I'm female and totally enjoy this book, I believe is suppose to be geared more towards the men,

Great series, personally enjoyed the first few books, more so than the last couple. Felt the author left enough loose ends that he could've published one more book and really took his time to wrap up loose ends in a more thorough manner. Still, as an overall series, I loved the story. Highly recommended!

Good character development. I like the fact that none of your characters are McGivers or superheroes, though sarge comes close... Then again, all of us have served with or under some one just like him. Well done. I look forward to your next work.

The author continues this series with another well written and entertaining book. Unlike many other books in this genre his works are well edited and his development of characters is consistent. This is not a typical shoot them up end of the world work, but is light reading at the same time.

Although not the final story, this chapter in the sage is an incredible addition. Most post-apocalyptic novels have an extreme under current of violence and death. A Americans story is about survival and showing that while you'll go to any length to protect your family, a community is an essential part of human existence.

I absolutely hate reading, but these books have me hooked. I am four deep into the series and love absolutely everyone, I have let all my friends and family read them and all of them absolutely love them! Definitely a must read

After the first two books, the characters have my interest and I want to know what what they will do next. Survivalists and "preppers" will love this book as much - maybe more than the first two in the series. Anyone who has read other books in the series will not be disappointed by this one. The author had me laughing at the family's reactions to having to "relocate." A well-told story.

Love this series ! I have read all seven books in just under 2 months. I never have read so much or stayed up so long on work nights lol. A great story series that I crave more of!

I actually finished this book in 4 days. As captivating as the previous, and attention gripping as well.
A lot of live experience can be picked up from here. Only wish there are pictures to support the descriptions.

Great series, bit wordy at times, some editing problems. And one big problem, if "Little Bit" "shouted" one more time
I would strangle what is supposed to be an otherwise nice 8 year old girl character. Most everything the girl says
is "shouted" and that gets REALLY old, and would get on everyone's nerves. But, liked the whole series, and most of
the survival issues were pretty realistic, better than most of this genre. Some things were left out, like what happened
to the garden they were starting when the moved "back home"? Still gotta eat! Other comments, the "bantering" between the "Pro" military folks was WAY over the top and tiresome. I spent two years with that type of guys, and yes there was some jibes and the like, but they were PROFESSIONAL, not clowns. Further, all the solar power electrical stuff, and no solar water heater?? Missed the boat there.

My favorite doomsday book series and the author is a hell of a guy from what I gather as well. From book one (where some were irked by some typo's to the addition of having a publisher makes a huge difference from those complaints).

This final book in the series brings a hopeful conclusion of a probable bad situation to an end. The author presented some really grim scenarios of what might happen after a SHTF event, and what folks might expect if such were to happen.

Excellent ! Not much to add to all the other positive reviews other than for me, the book was worth the price.
You can bet the author is on the DHS hit list and they'll be at his location the second the CinC clears them to start rounding up Bitter Clingers.

wish I had bought something else, if you are into reading these types of books, you will think you read this somewhere else. As a matter of fact, I went back in the manage program to see if I had bought this a whicle back. yawn.

I'll have to say… Having read each book … And always looking forward to the next… It was with some trepidation that I started this last book in the series.but it does not disappoint… I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

The first three books in the series were so good, I couldn't put them down until I had finished them.... but if this had been the first book of the series, I would have tossed it and not read another because of the foul language. Some harsh language is to be expected but it seems he just learned the 'F' word and it was prominent in the entire book. Very disappointing.

This series of books are great. They are very realistic and well written. The characters are so realistic and you are drawn right into their lives. One of the best survivalist book series that I have read. You won't be able to put them down.

After finishing the fourth book in this series I can highly recommend it to people who enjoy this genre. Full of action and well developed characters not to mention useful information on survival and being prepared. Well worth the cost.

I was a little concerned that this series was going to continue ad infinitum, like some others of this genre that I refuse to continue buying.

This is a solid series, with enough detail to get a person interested in doing research without becoming pedantic.

I'll look for other books by Angry American, I'm sure he'll have no shortage of material from which to glean ideas.

Another darn good A American read. The only thing disappointing about this one was one particular character from the camp did not get pay back. Hopefully the story will return full circle. Looking forward to #5
