Love in my Language

I had been really looking forward to finally reading this ever since Alex first announced the release date. I get so much daily inspiration from her posts on Instagram and Twitter, plus I have her first book "Words from a Wanderer", so I had an idea of what to expect..... But i was NOT expecting how much I ended up connecting with her very private thoughts and personal struggles. I was in tears after the first couple of pages.... She really opens up and speaks her truth. It's both a collection of poetry and her own personal essay-type stories. I read the entire book within a couple of hours and will probably end up going back to re-read it again and again... Highly recommended reading....

Alex Elle is my favorite creative. This is a book you will read many times over, when you cannot put your feelings into words, she does not fail you. I am a fan of everything she does, I have all of her books and I believe each one continues to be greater than the next! Highly recommended.

Alex has crafted this book with open, honest, and naked words. The degree of vulnerability she shares in this book is nothing short of astounding and Love in my Language resonates deeply with me. I love Alex for her bravery in sharing with us and I hope those who were able to benefit from it take the time to share it with their loved ones as well. Keep sharing, sister.

This book spoke to me on so many different levels. It was as if my subconscious was placed in someone else hands and they wrote the words I struggle so hard to speak freely. Thanks kindle unlimited but mostly thanks to Alexandra Elle.

These poems show sadness, struggle, and strength. They are honest and full of emotion. It makes me wish I had saved my notebooks of poetry from my teen years. Ernest Hemingway said, "Write hard and clear about what hurts." That is exactly what Alex Elle did. Love in my Language was just as exquisite as Words from a Wanderer.

This book is full of amazingness! The author of this book has bravely shared her story which is very relateable to myself as a young woman, I believe this book can benefit women of all ages. I love that I can go back and reference a topic in the book that relates to challenges I have with-in my personal life. I promise......this book is filled with mentorship and positive vibes from the beginning to end. oh! and there is a bonus! There are blank pages to express your thoughts or emotions in the end.

Once you start reading this book you will probably finish it one day! Her words are so uplifting and driven with passion and emotion. Definitely one of my best buys EVER! Such a beautiful person and spirit. I'll definitely continue to support her future work.
