Chris and Sara continue their love affair in Paris, I've been there in July of 2005 and over it. I'm so glad he finally told her his secret, she was so worried for him, the not knowing was killing her.

Lisa Renee Jones has a remarkable ability of making your heart beat faster and your breathing quicken. You will hang on every word. Prepare to lose sleep and go to work exhausted because you won't be able to put this book down. Her characters have so much depth. I hope this isn't the end of the series. I'm looking forward to her next book.

Let me start my review by saying that I absolutely loved If I Were You and Being Me, as well as all the Rebecca novellas in between. I pre-ordered and couldn't wait for this final book to come out, however Revealing Us was a big disappointment in this "trilogy". Here we have yet another author market a series of books as a trilogy, then decide to carry the story on to further installments. I would have given more stars regardless of the "trilogy but not a trilogy aspect", but this third installment in the series just didn't live up to the great storyline and character development of the first two books.
Revealing Me doesn't reveal much at all. We learn Chris' big secret toward the end, which really isn't such a big deal after all. This storyline really dragged on. Ms. Jones could have condensed this story down to half, then given us more insight to what happened to the other characters. We still don't learn what happened to Rebecca or Ella, or what is going to happen to Ava.
I would love to have answers to all the questions that we were left with, but by the time more books come out I don't think I will care enough to read them. So sad and disappointed in this book.

I love this series. It always leaves you wanting more. I Will say, I didn't like "the secret". It seemed too small for all the reluctance to share.
Chris and Sara continue their journey while trying to find Ella and juggle many other things at once. He takes her to Paris to see more about him.

Ok, what just happened? Please tell me there will be another book. I am disappointed in the ending, not knowing what will happen next, if anything. So I'm going to believe there will be more. Other than that a good read. So, I have found out there will be more not disappointed anymore, loved these books.

Lisa Renee Jones entertains in the so-called conclusion to the Inside Out Trilogy, Revealing Us, starting where Being Me ended. I absolutely couldn't wait to read the final book in the Inside Out Trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed If I Were You and Being Me. When I started reading Revealing Us, I couldn't but the book down. Once again, I was completely captivated by Chris and Sara.
Chris promises to reveal the shocking secret he believes will push Sara away forever. Throughout the series, Sara has grown into a strong woman who is capable of reading Chris's moods, knowing when to push him and when not to. The most recent threat to Chris and Sara's happiness is Amber a woman from Chris's past. Amber still has strong feelings for Chris and tries to insert herself into Chris and Sara's relationship by exposing what she knows about Chris. Seeing what Amber is doing, Sara tries to not let it come between her and Chris. As before, Chris and Sara's bedroom play is scorching hot as they further experiment with light BDSM. Even as Chris and Sara continue to cement their relationship, they continue to hunt for Ella and work through Sara's legal issues in connection to Rebecca's disappearance. I just love how Chris and Sara are always working to find balance and happiness in their relationship, and they don't let others determine what their relationship is and what it isn't.
I have always enjoyed Ms. Jones's writing and have read many of her other series during the last few years. For months Revealing Me has been advertised as the "conclusion" and the "exciting climax" of the Inside Out Trilogy. I can't begin to recount my disappointment as I approached the end of Revealing Me and realized that the questions of the series were not going be answered in this so-called conclusion to the series. Revealing Me ends with another stunning cliffhanger, and I said to my e-reader "Really?" After coming to terms with the lack of conclusion in Revealing Me, I went searching the Internet to see what I might have possibly missed. Well, one thing I missed was the announcement the day after Revealing Me was released that states that there would be two more books in this "trilogy" and a spin-off series. I feel like I've been stringed along with this book and the way it was advertised. Quite frankly, as much as I love Chris and Sara, at this time, I no longer have the energy for any more installments of the Inside Out Trilogy.

I loved this series. Each one was better than the one before. It's a great story full of romance and mystery. I heard there's actually going to be other books that continue the story, but I heard they are going to technically be a part of another series.

Ah-frustrating. I loved the first 2 books in the series but was disappointed with Revealing Us. Why frustrating? What I loved about the first 2 books just fell flat in this book. What hooked me to the series was the how the tension kept getting turned up with Sara trying to figure out who the Master was in Rebecca's Journals and if Sara was in danger. Well, those questions were answered but in an unsatisfying way. In addition, both Sara and Chris talked about their secrets and were concerned with revealing them in fear of losing each other because of how bad their secrets were. I have to say that both secrets were extremely anti-climatic. Chris' secrets were probably the most anti-climatic because of his behavior in dealing with his emotions (getting punished and not in a good way) and that his character drew it out in telling Sara for 3 books. The other reason I got hooked on the series was the steamy love scenes. In this book, I actually started skipping the sex scenes. Just too much. Every time either Sara or Chris had an emotion-happy, sad, fear, or God forbid anger, I would say to myself "here comes another sex scene. Just repetitive and boring this time for me. Lastly, their relationship and the ending was a little too convenient and tied with a nice bow. I think I'm done with the series now.

I have enjoyed this series. Unfortunately, as the series has dragged on, my feelings for Sarah have hit bottom. I struggled with reading this book, and only finished because I wanted to know how it ended for Chris. I have always loved his character and wanted to know what his secrets are. The story really wasn't bad, it just felt as though it was chapter after chapter of listening to Sarah whine about this or self doubt about that. She did not grow as a character, instead I felt she became less of who she was. I got tired of her going against Chris' wishes, and then having to listen to her apologize repeatedly and make up excuses for him having to clean up the mess. This book was more choppy and left a number of answered questions.
SPOILER ALERT......DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW..
Chris and Sarah do finally end up together and appear to be happy, as happy as they can be considering the lingering circumstances. You see, for this to have been a trilogy, it ends with it being up in the air about Rebecca's murder trial because Eva has now accused Sarah of being Rebecca's killer. This isn't cleared up at the end of the book. Hell, even the epilogue leaves you hanging since it's in Sarah's missing friend Ella's POV of her being chased by someone. Yep, you guessed it, we still have no idea where Ella is and Sarah's been all over that no matter the danger.
At the end of the book, I was happy for Chris. He seemed to truly be finally happy. But I think Sarah has a lot of growing up to do to deserve his love and devotion. Again, I have enjoyed the series, I just expected a little more closure for Chris and Sarah, so that the spin off book (or continuation of this "trilogy") could be about Mark and center on him.

I truly love this series, the mystery and the romance. I am definitely not ready to let go of Sara and Chris. Ms. Jones did a wonderful job with this storyline. One of the best I've ever read. I never once got bored with the story, in the main books or the novellas. Definitely kept me on my toes!

Loved this story. I feel that the secrets that books reveal is never as intense as the prelude to the reveal. Maybe that says something about me. Don't know don't care. Anyhow ended great but prologue is leading me to a book I am not sure is out yet.

I love Lisa Renee Jones...I love her writing style and how she captivates the reader with a real plot combined with mystery, drama, adventure and good romance. And I absolutely love this series! It's simply a thrilling roller coaster ride that doesn't seem to slow down...until this book. I hate to admit that Ms. Jones dropped the ball with this installment to the INSIDE OUT TRILOGY. The entire story was about Chris' big secret and how he would tell this mysterious secret to Sara "when the time was right". It seriously got tedious with all the ups and downs Sara & Chris go through....all because he wouldn't tell her the friggin' secret. And when he finally, FINALLY reveals this horrible secret, the build-up to revealing this secret was so long and drawn out that it's lost its punch. I really didn't care WHAT the secret was anymore. When you hear the secret...you're like "is that all??"..."is THAT it??" It's like waiting for a huge fireworks show and you get a puff of smoke. Done. Go home. It's over.
This Author gave us more than twenty chapters leading up to this enormous secret...and POOF! Over. Yeah, I'm really not kidding or even exaggerating. The book literally ends leaving the reader (being me) wondering what the heck happens to all the other players in the story.
But of course that's money to be spent on yet another book that could easily be told in three chapters (much like THIS book) but will be drawn out into 20-25 chapters and yet another book. This is what you call a neverending story.

A little disappointed we are left hanging again. I thought this would conclude Sara and Chris's story but it doesn't look like it. I did enjoy the story line but have too many unanswered questions. I'm glad to see there are going to be more stories about all the characters.

Be prepared for a crummy ending. The were several parts to the story that were not revealed. Almost as if there was another book. I think that this trilogy could have easily been told in one book. I didn't think the story line was strong enough for a trilogy.

Loved this series. Drew me in quickly and I couldn't put it down. Normally I'm not a big mystery person because I get too excited about finding out "who done it"; but this was just enough mystery to keep you guessing but it wasn't the focal point.

Revealing Us is the third installment in Lisa Renee Jones's adult romance series titled Inside Out. When I finished the first book in this series, I was floating on a book high and my trigger-happy finger had me one-clicking the rest of the series on the store. I don't regret it...but I'm not on cloud nine anymore either. I HATE to say this, but in my perspective, Revealing Us had a great amount of filler in it. To be fair, there is a lot going on in this one: Ella is still missing, the criminal investigation surrounding the Rebecca issue continues, Sara meets more people from Chris's past, Sara and Chris still seem to struggle in their relationship, Chris still has a secret he hasn't told Sara... What gets resolved? Chris's "secret" but not much else. There is a major development at the end of the book that maybe is supposed to make it all OK, and the epilogue definitely tries to keep readers invested in Ella's mystery, but I still felt disappointed. I'm on the fence about continuing the series. Maybe a few novellas will help me get my groove back? We shall see...

Absolutely loved the first two books and anxiously waited for this one! The author does a fabulous job with the music selection and leads me as though I am present in the room with Chris and Sara......I was anxious and excited the entire length of the book. Can't wait to see what the future holds......just don't want to wait so long.....I always have to begin from the first book and complete the series as a whole. Never wanting to miss anything and wanting to remember all that transpired in the previous books. Looking forward...............

This story has everything.... learning to love, trust, accept and a future to look forward to. There are also mysteries that are solved. All of this makes for a very exciting and feel-good read. Lisa Renee Jones continues to enthrall. She has become one of my favourite authors.

I loved the four Rebecca journal books and the three Sara books . I would recommend these to everyone, but I do not care for the ending. I have not heard of a fourth book but would love to read one. The ending was a cliff hanger. I precede an ending

I'm slightly disappointed in this ending to Chris and Sara's story. I felt like the ending was rushed and just kind of slapped together to say it's done rather then finishing out the storyline. I'm hopeful that with continuing with the series more details about Sara and Chris's story will be interspersed with the other characters. I am interested in Ella's story and what she has been going through.
I loved finding out all of Chris's secrets. It was a relief to see that he trusted enough in his and Sara's relationship and in Sara herself to open himself up completely and to let her help him hopefully to the path to heal.
I'm excited about her starting her own business and that it will allow her to travel with Chris anywhere he goes.
I'm not a fan of Amber. Wasn't in the very beginning of meeting her and would like to strangle her at this point. I hope Sara kicks her ass. What a waste of space.
I was also glad to learn what happened with Rebecca. FINALLY! I'm excited to follow this storyline as well in the next installments of the series.
A series definitely worth reading. Absolutely would recommend.

***Updating my review to 4 stars on September 17, 2013, after learning the author has indeed planned several more novels pertaining to the characters in this series. Although no mention of this was made in the novel or on Goodreads at the time of my review, I was able to learn this information by visiting her author website.***
3.5 Stars. Very anti-climatic. I was very disappointed with the mystery reveals. There were major plot points that were left unresolved, and I have heard no mention that we will see a future novel to finish the story.
***spoilers***
We never find out if Rebecca's body was found. This was tied to the issue of Sara not being able to obtain her passport to return to the US. There was no resolution in the case against Sara being accused of murder.
What about Ella? Will we ever find out what happened?
