This whole series is good but there are errors to a point it makes me wonder if the editors even read these books. The names get mixed up. The author says Gwen when he clearly meant Luanda and flower when it should be flour. However, the content is good and the story keeps me wanting more.

Good story and love the characters and Rice keeps you interested, not much dragging at all, something is always happening but yet feels real. I love magic and socerery almost as good as Terry Brooks, "Shanara".

I gave five stars for another book of Morgan Rice's that demands nothing less. I could not put this book down when I did I was still seeing the images of the book the words gave me. It was like watching a movie it was so vivid. Thank you!

I really like the ongoing character development. Hard to put this book down once I started it. Really letting my daily duties slide since I discovered Morgan's books! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great story that they can immerse themselves into.

I enjoy they story. Very much but the authors choice of words and how often he describes more than he needs to causes me to skip whole sections of the book. Some instances are too long others too short. The author never the less is very good and I look forward to his next piece.

The story line is good, but the Author would greatly benefit from a better editor. There are less mistakes than in the earlier books. Some of the events and timing are a bit unbelievable even for a Fantasy book.

First, the story premise is very intriguing, I really can relate with the characters. UNTIL all this emotion and action reach a crescendo... and I'm dumbfounded at the choices made. It's like "Hurry! Hurry!" then "Nah, never mind". As to the editing, when someone "rings something out..." rather than "wrings" it out? Or when the energy shield "eviscerates" someone THEN disintegrates them... So the shield ripped out their intestines, THEN burned them ash. I would think an author would have a better grasp of the proper spelling and correct usage of words. Ok. That was a big "First"... Second, the author tries too hard to show the intensity and/or plot impact of a given scene. Internal dialogue or the description of what a character feels (especially in the earlier books) is usually repeated within a few pages. And the "Forsyth" spider-creature? Sounds like our author dislikes Kate Forsythe for some reason. Maybe because Kate can write a great book.

? this book was a crazy good book. I strongly recommend it to anybody who likes fantasy books.
Though the book is repetitive I think that the content is more important and that certainly is awesome.

I think the author listened to someone who thinks soap operas are the greatest TV work of all time. There is no progress to resolution of any of the major story lines and the addition of more story lines to boot. The characters are becoming shallower instead of more complex. Battle scenes are short horrendously outmatched and still the underdog wins every time. I am unfortunately seeing a good series falling into cliche as the author seems to be attempting to complete the series in a reasonable number of books. I can't recommend reading this book, even if you have read the first three books already.

This is still an intriguing book series and plot line, but I didn't like how dark this book got. The evil done just gets too graphic for me and my imagination. I was bummed, because I like the characters.

Great saga with short books, and the story develops fast, so you get action all the time.

the only thing i didnt liked, was that every time the protagonist makes something spectacular, the author always put something like "Everyone looked him with awe and a new found respect". Not sure if its exactly the same thing, but once you read it you will realize it
