Grimm's Fairy Stories

Free book on Grimm's stories, what's not to like? I urge everyone out there before buying a copy of any older classic (Dracula, Grimm's, Pride and Prejuidice) to look for a free version. The books are considered public domain and can be found for free rather than buying them. the store has free copies of loads of public domain books. Please check before you pay!

The stories are wonderful and are the same as the ones I used to read such as Rapunzel and Rumplesiltsin. This a great book any age. I think that anyone who reads it would agree. This book is affordable for anyone who loves an old fashion fairytale.＼(^o^)／　(⌒‐⌒)　("⌒∇⌒")

this book did not have the correct stories the great GRIMM gave put made it more fun than the original ,ask your kids what they think when you read the stories. It will also help kids pass reading in school. When you read it you will be amazed by what it will do to help you and your family. If you ask me about it, I loved the story line of each book. You will see what happens with your imagination and creativity It will also help connect with your kids and spend more time and happiness with them . So that is what I think of the book.

The name "First edition" is rather misleading, inclining the buyer to think that the book contains the first edition of the tales. But in the first page of the book is stated: "Grimm's fairy stories. 1922". Actually the firts version of Grimm's stories dates back to 1812 - 1814, and they changed the stories several times producing seven different editions until 1857. No first version at all.

DO NOT get the store narration. Save your money. There is no synchronization between the audible.com "spoken narration" and kindle follow along reading. No bookmarks between the two apps. Found myself easily lost after 1st use. B&N, here I come.

This book was formerly named "First edition" and now "Original version". I bought the "First edition". Once in my hands I found the title rather misleading, It inclined one to think that the book contained the first edition of the tales. These are really dreadfully sick stories and definitely NOT for children, unless, of course, if you hate them and want to give them nightmares and raise little sociopaths. This book would be great for that.

I was looking for a complete collection of all the Grimm stories, and got this one because it is free. However, it doesn't say "Complete" for a reason. There are fewer than 30 of the classic tales included. I will be deleting this version and purchasing a complete one. "Household Tales by Brothers Grimm", as translated by Margaret Hunt, seems like it might be a good option, and it is also free.

I bought this ebook for my son to use on my kindle. The reason for purchasing this particular one was for the free audio book. Took me a while to figure out where the link was. It was at the end of the book. When I clicked the link it is not compatible with my kindle. So I went on my laptop and typed in the long link. Discovered this webpage would not even open on my laptop. My son is learning to read and just using the text to speach option on my kindle is a little crude for my 5 year old. I was really looking forward to him having an audio book. I will not waiste any more time or money on this company. Just buy the free ebook for kindle and use your text to speech.

Grimm's Fairy Stories

This was a very disappointing product. It is a very flimsy little paperback with no illustrations of any kind. It would only be purchased as a child's book and is not suitable at all.

i have bought this book for my nephews and they are so delighted, they aren't into books as much as we would've wanted them but this book.. they love it!
it has captured their imagination and interest that only fairytales can do to a child.

this book is wonderful.at first i thought this book is only about faries like ruby the red fairy summer the holiday fairy......things like that.but no it is not.all the stories has happy ending which i like.i like all kinds of story like this.go get one yourself
