In Seaside Nights we are picking things up with Sky Lacroux , who has moved back home to help run her father’s shop when he went into rehab. She’s always held a dream of opening her own tattoo shop and finally things are coming together when she has a chance to open her own place up. Though it’s taking some time to renovate the shop and make it her own, she excited and looking forward to the day her doors open for business. One thing seems to be missing though, while things seem all perfect and happy, she’s longing for something a little more fulfilling than a life long dream- love.
Seems fate is on her side when a handsome boxer, Sawyer Bass, walks into her shop for a tattoo and they hit it off nearly instantly. Everything seems to be coming together just when she needs it to be, but things don’t always seem as they are. While their chemistry explodes at first sight, and there’s no slowing it down, boxing goes against everything Sky believes in and Sawyer is determined to carry out his career. It’s a major issue with Sky, but neither can keep away, she isn’t about to just turn away when things are going so well between them.
While Sawyer’s final fight is just around the corner, his focus and determination towards it is ignoring the danger hidden behind it. Sawyer has a lot wagering on the fight , not just his entire career, his health, but the love of his life, which puts even a grave warning given to him on hold. When Sky finds out what he’s tried to keep a secret she wants nothing more than to not see him fight, but he needs her by his side. Torn in two ways, Sky isn’t sure what to do, walking away isn’t easy, but neither is watching the man she fell fast and hard for put his life in danger.
Will they be able to close the gap between something that can potentially break them apart and ride it out? Or will they part ways without ever knowing how far they could have gone? What is it that’s making Sawyer ignore a warning so dangerous and still fight even if it means it could be his last fight ever in his life- or worse the end of his life, and will SKy be at his side when he You’ll have to read Seaside Nights and find out!
Foster always brings a wonderful story to the pages but this one was one of my top favorites. I know I keep saying that one book after another, but I love how close she can write people. There’s a connection you pick up on fast and it makes it that much more enjoyable when reading. Loved how these two characters came together, enjoyed to watch them grow together through the story. Can’t say much more because it’ll give away what happens, you won’t be disappointed in this newest book in the series, looking forward to the next one!

After enjoying Melissa Foster’s latest book in her new adult series. I knew I had to read one of her Love in Bloom books. So when the opportunity to read Seaside Nights which is part off the sub series Seaside Summers. I wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to read another of her books as I enjoyed her writing and her storytelling
Whilst this is book twenty-five in the Love in Bloom series and book five in her Seaside Summer series. I found to be easy to pick up and get caught up to the current goings of this sea side town.
From the moment I picked up the book, I knew that I was going to like Sky and the others who do pop up in this series. There is a warm comradeship between the characters and how they support each other in their endeavours.
Sky is about to open her tattoo shop properly after all renovations are complete. Whilst she wants she wants to find someone special, it hard to when you have all those older protector brothers and friends in the mix. Sky is just happy to go along with the flow until Sawyer… A man worth getting to know, a man who understands hers .
From the moment you meet, Sawyer you will swoon. As he everything you wished for and more. As broody guitar player with a voice of angel who is dealing with his own issues. He is a free spirited a match in made in heaven for Sky who is exactly the same despite her brothers and father influence on her life. .. And does help that help that he felt something for the brunette he only saw for a second at that karaoke night . The night that was supposed only to become a temporary escape from reality
However there is one thing wrong to this what seems a perfect situation. He is a professional boxer, the last thing that Sky expects or wants. It doesn’t matter that he hasn’t been seriously hurt or he is a good guy. There is something about boxing that gets her up in arms. Yes, finally someone who has a problem and not ready swoon over this fact.
Don’t get me wrong but there is something about a guy who comes of cross as sweet and then tough. However with so many books out there, I was expecting and hoping something different which I got. I love a bit variety in my books. I love that Sky wasn’t willing to compromise everything to get what she wanted. She was willing to give and take to make thing works. Whilst this relationship may move a bit fast it seems. I think it worked okay for me.

Without a doubt, I am hooked on this series. After so many in the series, I don't know how Melissa Foster keeps coming up with characters that are fresh and interesting and then gives them their own unique love story. It really blows my mind that these books aren't just carbon copies of the previous ones!
Sky and Sawyer are probably the most unique characters yet. Sky own her own tattoo parlor and Sawyer is a boxer who also just happens to write poetry/songs and sing his songs with his guitar. Their romance had a gentleness about it that I wasn't expecting from those characters. I think that's what made this book such a pleasure. Sawyer had such a wonderful soft side to him!
As usual, it was good to have the continued story of the characters highlighted in previous books. The Seaside crew is getting ready to add babies to the mix! Squeal!

What I love about Melissa Foster is she's consistent. You know, going into the book, how her writing style is. The woman pumps out books like nobody's business, but no two books are ever the same -- doesn't matter which group of siblings, friends, or location, each book you read will take you on a different ride.
Right away with SEASIDE NIGHTS, I could tell I would like it. Granted, I enjoyed Sky and her friendship with the Seaside gang -- granted, I've still only read Amy and Tony's story (my to-be-read list is miles long, I swear) and while I'd love to go back and watch everyone's journeys, you don't feel lost when you join this group of friends.
Sky is opening up a tattoo shop. Granted, she's been working out of the building as her friend, Blue, has been renovating it, but it's just about finished. One night when the gang goes out for karaoke night, Sky notices a dark, brooding man with a guitar -- he's yummy to look at but so very not her type: earthy, free, spirited. But when he sings... man, when he sings.
Sawyer doesn't have the best outlook on life. He's been boxing since he was a child, but just the other day his doctor warned him about the hits to his head. However, winning an upcoming fight would mean nursing care for his ailing father -- and family comes first. But when he meets free-spirited Sky, will he realize he has more to live for?
I loved Sawyer, and how different from everyone (well, Sky and her close clan) else he could be. I loved that he helps Sky move on from her own familial troubles and worries, but, like a man, he has a hard time accepting the same from her.
Sky and Sawyer were two very different people -- Sawyer, a fighter, and Sky, a lover. But together, the sparks flew. Like most romance stories, they have some bumpy roads to navigate. Sometimes it takes more than love to find your way -- both will need outside advice to point them on the final, correct path -- but I have no doubt that S.B.+S.L.B. will be a forever thing.
I am super excited for Melissa's next side-series, The Ryders, featuring Blue and his siblings! I love Blue and his friendship to everyone he encounters -- and that he's confident in his masculinity. One of my favorite scenes with him in SEASIDE NIGHTS was when he and Marcus were bantering and he told Marcus something along the lines of "you can't handle this". He's fun and light, and an all around a good guy -- even if he and Sky have... err... blocked one another (because goodness knows, 'cock' shouldn't be a part of Sky's vocabulary). I can't wait to get to know him more.
AND! The rest of the Lacrouxs are coming, too, and I'm pretty pumped for those boys (SEASIDE WHISPERS may be my favorite cover of the Seaside Summers series...).

Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster
5 stars!
I received and ARC for an honest review.
Fall in love with Sky Lacroux and Sawyer Bass in Seaside Nights, the fifth book in the Seaside Summers series by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster!
Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She's happy as can be, preparing the shop for its grand opening and renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over—love.
Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar at a local bar to escape the painful reality of his father's deteriorating health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the window, and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song—and maybe even the rest of his life.
When Sawyer walks into Sky's tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar—Sky—the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He's honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile—but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle—only the battle she thinks he's waging isn't the one that threatens to tear them apart.
5 Stars!
This book had me sighing a lot but I loved it!! It takes place in Massachusetts and that is not far from where I live and it’s nice when you can relate to a place nearby. I love when books take place in Boston or other parts of Massachusetts.
Sky is the dreamer in the family and also opened her own tattoo shop. I love tattoos, and would visit Sky’s shop.
She is a believer that knows the right man will be put in front of her when the time is right. She meets Sawyer, a singer and a boxer. She is swooning over his singing but part of her does not like the boxer in him.
Sawyer likes boxing and does it for his family. Sky sees it as hurting someone which I can understand her point of view. Sawyer tries to make her see its about skill and not hurting someone.
Will Sky be able to move on and have a happy ever after with Sawyer?
Will Sawyer make her see things his way or lose her?
I recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a love story that is right near the sea. I fell in love with it and with Sky and Sawyer.

Okaaay, Sawyer Bass had me speechless. He has his way with words which is really sweet (and his words has the power to make the hair on my arms rise) – but *okay* it borderlines cheesy at times. He was a boxer and can fight an opponent fiercely, but off the ring, he’s a different persona. He was an artist through and through: sensitive, and creative. But also, this guy has a big heart enough for someone to love and his family.
Sky Lacroux was living her dream: she just opened her tattoo shop and was preparing for its grand opening. She was renting a cottage at the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being done. But despite all these, there was still something missing in her life, she longed what her friends had found – LOVE.
It was an unexpected meeting, but the words and voice from Sawyer Bass had piqued Sky’s interest. Needless to say, it was the same thing that happened to Sawyer. The moment he laid his eyes on Sky, she became the focus of his next song, and perhaps more.
They have chemistry, and Sawyer was everything a girl could want, he’s a great guy: honest, sensitive, sweet and good in bed, problem is Sky wasn’t that fond of boxing. She wasn’t that comfortable with his chosen sport. But the more he gets to know him, the closer they get. There is more to this alpha male than just being a poet and a boxer. He has his own personal baggage he carries and one is heartbreaking after the other. One thing about this guy though is that he is a great guy, willing to do anything for the people he loves.
It was good to see a few familiar couples in this book who are living their happy ending. Not to mention the pranks that seemed to get funnier and funnier with each book. I’m looking forward for the next prank they will do. Considering what they did here.
They fell in love fast. It almost made my head spin. I wished there was a breather somewhere in between. But I guess, when you know, you just know that the person is the one for you. This is what happened to the both of them. And yet, Seaside Nights is more than just your steamy, whirlwind romance that can knock you off your feet. It’s a story of a child who would do everything in his power for his family, even at the cost of his life. It’s touching, it’s sweet, it’s Melissa Foster.

As always, Melissa Foster leads us into a world of hunky men, beautiful women and a rocky path to love. It always feels so good to be back with the Seaside Summers gang and although this book is part of a series, it is not necessary to have read the other books in the series but I'd recommend it if only because they are so brilliant!
I absolutely adored Sky's character in the book. She is such a free spirit and I just loved how she handled all life has thrown at her so far. The love she has from her family and all those in the town is evident. However, she has just about given up on love when she meets Sawyer with his hypnotic voice and beautiful soul. The chemistry between Sky and Sawyer is electric from day one. Sawyer is a brooding, gorgeous man with a level of hurt that just cries out for the love of a good woman to save him from himself. Being a boxer he is of course fit, physically strong and nerves of steel. Underneath that is a man with an aching heart who is struggling to keep it all in check. Combine that with a soulful singer and dear me I want to jump right into the book and save him myself!
But, there is a lot more going on in this book than boy meets girl, falls in love, girl and boy argue about boys job, etc the end. There is an emotive back story going on in relation to Sawyer's father and the risks that Sawyer is prepared to put himself through in order to help him. Can Sky reconcile all she knows in her heart with how she feels about boxing and the danger to Sawyer. Another amazing book by Melissa Foster that sizzles off the pages and makes your heart jump into your throat all at the same time. As usual, brilliantly written with an interesting plot, unforgettable characters and of course that all important ingredient..............love!

I love reading the Seaside Summers books. The characters always bring a smile to my face with their humor, wit, and the love they have for one another. The seaside characters are like a giant family, and the family expanded in this story.
I love Sky's character. She's so caring and down to earth. She seems so mellow and balanced, yet creative at the same time. She's the type of person I'd love to hang out with. When it came to Sky and Sawyer's relationship, it seemed like Sky questions it more than I had expected her to. She seems unsure it was okay or normal for her to be having such strong feelings towards Sawyer so quickly. If I in a situation like her, I'd feel the same way.
Sawyer seems too good to be true. Can more guys in real life be like him? His poetic words and kind heart make him the perfect book boyfriend. I loved the poetic lines from him throughout this book. I highlighted so many of them because I liked them so much or could relate to what was being said. Although, I did want to shake him during the times he thought being a boxer was mainly who he was and was in denial about being a poet. It's like he never thought he could be anything beyond that since he has been a boxer for so long.
Although their connection was instant and happened quicker than I normally like in books, it made perfect sense for how Sky's and Sawyer's personalities were. They are very alike and seem to share similar values and interest, minus the Sawyer's career in boxing and Sky's distaste for violence. I enjoyed reading them trying to work through the differences.
I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

From the moment Skye and Sawyer saw each other you just knew their romance was going to be hot. There was almost a magic in the air with this story. It was definitely full of serendipity. Melissa Foster could absolutely write a paranormal series full of magical romance. I would be in heaven!
Sawyer was absolutely swoon worthy in a way Foster's other leading men haven't been for me. He was totally tall, dark, and handsome... a little mysterious... and a boxer. But, poetry just fell from lips. Honest, sincere, poetry. And music.... he just couldn't contain it. What girl wouldn't swoon?
I don't have a tattoo... but if I could find Skye in her Inky Skies shop... I would totally get one. She is just so NOT your stereotypical tattoo artist. Earthy and flowy. She was compared to a butterfly at one point and it was so perfect. I haven't a clue what kind of tattoo I would get... but I'm sure Skye could figure it out.
Sawyer and Skye together created extreme heat. I love that they just couldn't control themselves and that when they were in the same space even their friends could see the sparks between them. They definitely leave a reader breathless.
I do wish there had been a little bit more right before the ending. Specifically... I would have liked one more conversation between Sawyer and his dad. Or both of his parents. The end was brilliant as far as I'm concerned (and I will not tell you what happens) but I could imagine the conversation between Sawyer and his parents being an amazing emotional scene.

Seaside Nights gives you the story of how Sky and Sawyer meet. If you recall your Seaside history, Sky is the sister of Pete, who is married to Jenna. She's our local tattoo artist who moved back home to help out their father. Now Sky owns her own shop and is setting down some roots. Her best friend is Blue, who I secretly hoped would get together with, but now I admit am glad Ms. Foster had other plans for. When Sky goes out with friends one night, she has the pleasure of watching Sawyer perform on stage. Sawyer has to be one of the most romantic guys that I've read so far. He is so down to earth and not afraid to show his emotions. He is taken with Sky when they "officially" meet in her shop when Sawyer comes in to get some ink. I didn't think the other Seaside men could be topped, but I have to say that I may now have a small crush on Sawyer Bass!
When Sky first discovers that Sawyer also boxes, she's a little unsure how to move forward. She's not too keen on men hitting one another for sport, even though at the time she doesn't realize Sawyer's plans and why he has to train as hard as he does.
It is always such a treat to read a new installment of the Seaside series. I've had the opportunity to read and review from the very beginning and it has yet to be repetitive or make you feel like you've read it before. By now you're familiar with the characters and it's nice how they are woven in the story. You get to see how their lives are progressing and the tight family like relationships they have maintained.

Melissa always write stories that appeal to the heart. Seaside Nights is a wonderful example. Sky and Sawyer are each grapling with events that send them reeling. Sky is dealing with a shocking tragedy within and her family and the repurcussions have thrown her world of course. Sawyer is dealing with the prospect of losing an end to the career he loves and taking care of a sick parent who health is rapidly declining. His escape from the craziness in his life is to create. His art of choice is music and provides an outlet for his inner turmoil. Sky is an artist as well, a tattoo artist. She enjoys expressing herself through her designs.
Seaside Nights is about making difficult choices on a journey of hope, healing and love. Trusting the heart despite personal struggles can open all types of opportunities. Sky and Sawyer had to figure that out for themselves and for me that is what made the story all the more special. I received an ARC of Seaside Nights in exchange for an honest review.

It 's a delightful, entertaining and romantic novel about love, friendship and family.
Sky has just realized her dream of opening a tattoo parlor. And finally she can go to live alone. During a night out with her friends, she sees for the first time Sawyer, a really good musician. His voice is lovely and has written a wonderful song. She never imagined to see him come into her shop the next day. Sawyer has some serious family problems: the father has Parkinson's disease and his family has economic problems. He tries to help them with the money he earns doing the boxer. Between Sky and Sawyer is love at first sight but when Sky discovers that he is a boxer does not accept it easily: she is a free spirit, a pacifist who can not conceive a sport in which you beat another person. But they love so much, the chemistry between them is magical and strong and have a great passion in common: the poetry. Will their love has overcome this divergence?
I love all the characters, are engaging and realistic, you can easily empathize with them. I like the relationship of the characters with their families: as her brothers are so protective of Sky and the availability and sacrifice with which Sawyer takes care of his parents, is really responsible and considerate.
It's the fifth book in the series "Seaside Summers" but may be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. I look forward to reading the rest of the Seaside stories: if they are all like that I do not want to lose them.
Ideal as beach reading.

Love is worth than winning a boxing champ title
This book will tear you apart. It will make you giggle too. It will make you fall in-love with Sawyer by reading his poems. There is also so much love and compassion for the parents which makes me admire Sawyer the most. This guy will bury your deep into your soul. He can also sing. Lord have mercy, what this guy do to me.
Sky is such a unique name whom protected by her brothers. She is one amazing woman and so many talents. The attraction between her and Sawyer is so effing hot. Ms. Melissa Foster surely knows how to make her audience very wet. This is one beautiful story of ambition, family love. Love is worth than winning a boxing champ title. I know it is hard not to follow your ultimate goals but for the sake of his parents and love Sawyer did it.
Seaside Nights is my third books that I review from Ms Melissa Foster. I highly recommend this book for everybody who loves boxing aside from the beautiful romance. Since I am not satisfied with my e-book, I just ordered my paperback copy. I cannot wait to add next to my other Melissa Foster books.

Sky has finally turned her dream into reality and now the only thing missing is someone special to share it with. This won't be easy with brothers like bodyguards and a best friend who thinks he is her personal protector. Sawyer has responsibilities and knows what needs to be done, but at what cost. He has inner demons to conquer, but can't help being drawn to Sky. Add in some other amazing characters from past books and all of this adds up to another fantastic read! When you read a Melissa Foster book you are immediately drawn into the story and at times you feel like you are in it and these are your friends you are reading about. This is no fluff novel and even though there is fantastic scenes filled to the rim with heat, there is a story to wrap it up like a beautiful package. I am a total fan now of Ms. Foster and her characters. This story will make you a fan as well!

One word. Dreamy. Sawyer is dreamy. Poet, songwriter, boxer, and lover. Oh, he's so freaking dreamy. I've knocked every other one of Melissa's men off the list. My BBF list now consists of Sawyer.
If you've read Melissa's other works, Seaside Nights follows the same formula and it is the perfect after noon read. Get lost in these complex characters and swoon-worthy storyline.
Sky is Pete's sister from the Seaside Summers Series and we met her in Seaside Hearts. She's a gentle soul and a talented artist. In walks Sawyer – talented artist in his own right, but is also a boxer. Sparks fly, heat ignites, and romance reigns once again in this full length novel.
It's so easy to find yourself immersed in this beautiful world of friends, lovers, and family. All of the Seaside characters make an appearance and I enjoy how this cast is so much more than just friends - they are one big family. There is even some chunky dunking with the girls in this one, too.
Once again, Melissa has created a beautiful couple that we root for from beginning to end. Love, love, love this one!

It’s been two months since Sky purchased the tattoo shop that she had been working at. And, with the renovations almost done on both the shop and the apartment above, Sky’s life is starting to come together. After moving back to the Cape to help her father who was recovering from alcohol addiction, and after battling her own depression from her mother’s sudden death, Sky is starting to feel like herself old self again. The only thing missing in her life is a man.
Sawyer is a professional boxer who, from the recommendation of his doctor, was asked to consider retiring from the sport. One more punch to the head could mean a lifetime of brain damage for Sawyer. But he needs to get through one more fight. Not for him, but for his father. Suffering from Parkinson’s disease and having his health deteriorate, Sawyer’s father is in need of care that, quite honestly, they aren’t able to afford. But Sawyer knows that he has the ability to win his next fight, a fight that will bring enough money to pay for his father’s care for the next thirty years.
When Sky and Sawyer first meet, there’s no denying the connection that they both felt. But with Sky having such a gentle, loving soul and not able to fully understand why two people would willingly go into a ring and throw punches at each other, she knows that if she is going to be in a relationship with Sawyer, she may not have to like that he’s a boxer, but she’s going to have to learn to accept it. But when an unexpected turn of events happens, Sky starts to question if she really can look past his career or if she should quietly walk away and let him do what he needs to do for his family.
In any relationship there has to be a measure understanding and trust. And, without it, the foundation of that relationship can start to crumble. There was no denying the feelings between Sky and Sawyer, but with such huge issues and concerns hanging over them, doubts over their relationship start to form. Sawyer is used to fighting, but no amount of training could prepare him for the fight to keep Sky!
If you’re looking for a knock out book for the summer, look no further. With the perfect blend of romance and conflict, this book packs a perfect punch!

Sky finally comes into her own in Seaside Nights. We've seen her on the sidelines for a while now, never really standing out from the crowd. Here she steps out of the little sister shadow, jumps out from being the friend everyone can lean on, directly into the spotlight.
Sky is a enigma. She's a gentle soul that owns a tattoo shop, and abhors violence. She falls fast and quick for a boxer. The exact opposite of what she thought she wants in a guy. Sawyer has issues of his own, a sick father, a dangerous job that could kill him if he is hit one more time in the head.
I really like the fact that I am able to loose myself in the lives of Melissa's characters

Wonderful addition to the Seaside Night series! Sky and Sawyer are absolutely perfect for each other. She's been looking for a soulful man, and Sawyer's writing hits the spot. Their romance develops very quickly and it is both sweet and steamy. My only complaint is that as a boxer, I expected Sawyer to be a bit more alpha. It was great catching up the previous couples and seeing what's new in their lives. Not my favorite of the series, but still a great read for a summer afternoon.
I received an ARC for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

This romance begins when Sky, a free flowing spirit, and Sawyer, a poetic boxer, are drawn to each other's spirits after they spy each other after Sawyer sings at a bar. The similarities that this pair have bring them together; their passion and the love of their family, they do however deal with a possible hiccup in what could be an mind blowing union. Filled with poetry, family issues, pranks, this romance is about a connection that goes beyond the physical and will make you laugh, tear up, and tug at your heart strings.

Seaside Nights is the story of Sky and Sawyer. Sky is a fun loving earthy tattoo artist. She has not had an easy life. With her mothers death, and helping her father run his store as he worked through his alcohol problem. Now its her turn to live!
Sawyer father has Parkinson’s disease and he feels the need to plan for their future financially. His job is a boxer and hopes to fight one last fight, to secure a huge payout for his family. When he first saw sky i feel it was love at first sight.

Sawyer and Sky are deliciously intimate in a different style than the other books in the Love In Bloom series and it's exactly what makes Melissa Foster's books enjoyable and not cookie cutter. Her characters are unique in their own sense but they still stay true to the Love In Bloom formula that connects them all.

Melissa Foster has delivered another great romance. I was happy to get back into the Seaside Summer series. Sky has been one of my favorite characters so a whole book about her made this reader a happy woman. Sky is calm and down to Earth kind of like I wish I was. I relate to her so reading the book was my escape. I enjoy the vivid details that Melissa Foster uses in her books. This one was full of them and was a book that I enjoyed a lot. Loved it!

I loved sweet caring beautiful Sky. She loves her family and friends so deeply. When she meets Sawyer she falls hard and fast. Sawyer is a sexy, hunky, boxer that loves his Father so much. Willing to put his own life in jeopardy to keep his parents out of debt. Loved the two of them together. Beautiful love and beautiful book.

Melissa has written a super story of hope and love. B. J. Harrison narrates the audiobook and his voice of the characters are perfection.
Sky Lacroux opens her own tattoo shop she named Inky Sky in P town, Massachusetts. She has an apartment above it and she is having it updated. She was a free spirit and had moved there to help in her fathers store while he recovered from being an alcoholic. Sawyer Bass was a professional boxer and he was playing his guitar in a bar, when he sees Sky. Sawyer goes into her shop the next day and sparks fly between them. When she finds out he is a boxer, she can't stand the though of anyone using their fists on another person. They both have emotional battles to fight. Can they be worked out? A must read!

Leave it to Melissa Foster to create such a chemistry between two people that you can't help but want them together no matter what it takes! This book picks up on the story line of Sky Lacroux - if you've read the previous books in this series, you'll know that she is Pete's sister and met her in Seaside Hearts. Sky is a gorgeous, sensitive and a bit over-protected by her brothers. Recently, she purchased a tattoo shop to envelope herself into to escape the pain of her mother's death and father's alcohol problems.
Sky finds herself staying at the Seaside Cottages until her apartment is completed - thus setting the scene for her to meet Sawyer Bass. He's not at all what she envisioned herself falling for but it doesn't take long for her to swoon over his voice - and his body- despite the fact that he is a boxer. He has a soulful, deep, passion to himself and Sky can't tear herself away.
Sawyer has his own demons to deal with including not only his father's poor health but his own warnings of health issues. He is sensitive, caring and a very loving man but Sky wonders if she can look past his boxing career. That could be the deal breaker! The whole time I was screaming at Sky to get over that part because these two were made for each other!
If you've started this series from the beginning, you'll find yourself grinning, giggling and cheering on these two as well as reminiscing about the former couples featured. You'll get to catch up with the Seaside group of friends. It'll feel like a high school reunion that you actually want to go to!
This can be read as a standalone but you'll quickly discover that you want to read about the entire crew! The chemistry between the couples is steaming hot and the friendships are nothing short of envy-worthy by those who don't have such a group of friends!

Squeal!

This was another great addition to this series with Sky and Sawyer's story. The pair were a great couple and I enjoyed them from the start. Both have a strong sense of family with family issues that can be relatable to the reader. I continue to enjoy the return of the characters from the previous books so that as a reader I can catch up with them and I like how the way that they are included in each book. The story moved along well and at a good pace keeping me interested in the story. I liked Mr. Harrison's delivery of the story as he told it well and enthusiastically keeping me engaged in the story. I enjoyed this book from the beginning and would recommend it to others.

Sky and Sawyer...
From the time their eyes met across a crowded room, there was no turning back for either one of them. These two are truly soul mates.
Sky never thought that the sexy, soulful man she saw across the room at open mic night would be the man that just walked into her tattoo shop! Sawyer wanted to get a new tattoo and was shocked to see HER when he walked in. After a few perfect dates, some poetry and some steamy scenes these two realize that what they have is a "once in a lifetime". Only one thing stands in the way...he is a fighter and she does not like fighting. This book is a journey of finding love, friendship and finding your way together. Melissa is a wonderful story teller and this book, like her others, does not disappoint. You will see your other favorite couples in this book as well as Theresa and the hilarious pranks and "chunky dunking". This is a must read!

Seaside Nights is another fantastic, heart warming romance from Melissa Foster. It had more of a laid back feel than the previous books in the series, but this was a reflection of Sky's personality and suited the story. Sky and Sawyer made such a great couple and I loved the connection between them. Seaside Nights was well written, with the perfect amount of sweetness, sexiness and angst. I listened to the Audiobook and the narrator captured the characters and the story perfectly - it was as if I was right there with Sky and Sawyer.

Oh my! Two people destined for each other. That is Sky and Sawyer. Even with some heartaches in their past with family, I felt these two artistic souls were bound to find each other. A very good read done with Melissa Fosters usual heart-melting flair. I think it is a great emotional tale, cause I just laughed, cried, and of course swooned a time or two. I fall in love with every time I read about the men in this series, but this Sawyer is very close to the top of my love list. The Author continues to expand her series and leaves readers waiting for more. When I need to fall in love, Foster delivers! She is the go-to for romance.
