Confession time, Boy Toy is the first standalone of the Man Hands collection I've read from Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby. But man oh man what a fun read it was. Teenage crush in the here and now made for a sweet second chance that Liam never expected to get. Plus the age gap wasn't too crazy to make it unrealistic. Throw the family dynamic into the mix and it was a recipe for hilarity and some drama, too.

Please, don't even get me started on Liam's inner dialogue. Laugh out loud funny. Especially when his adult self tries to talk his teenage self down where Sadie is concerned. Even with Sadie's reservations about starting something with Liam, it was the way he was with her girls that melted her heart (and panties). I loved the chemistry between them. These two were off the charts hot together.

But more than their sizzling chemistry, I loved seeing Sadie stop caring about her and Liam's age gap and come into her own. Shed the insecurities that her past relationship left her with. Find her inner strength and power, not just as a mother but as a woman. Learn to see herself through her daughters and Liam's eyes; as the incredible woman she is. To me that was hands down the best thing about this book.

With humor, charm, steam and two of the sweetest toddlers I've ever had the pleasure of reading, Boy Toy is second-chance rom-com romance at it's best. Sadie and Liam's story had me laughing and swooning in equal measure. I know without a doubt (since I already went and one-clicked) that I'll be reading the other titles in this sexy and sweet series from Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby soon.

The Good
-Liam is the hottie babysitter hero we ALL need. He is my favorite kind of hero - beta on the streets, alpha in the sheets.
-The Firsts are executed very well. Always key and Ms. Bowen and Eby did it RIGHT.
-The humor fits the story beautifully, and is organic, instead of the story based on just the funny bits, which is my favorite kind of humor.

The Bad
-The villains of the piece are pretty meh. They serve their purpose, but don’t really add to the story.
-The physical descriptions are pretty vague and fluctuate. From hair texture to skin tone, I’m not exactly sure what Sadie looks like and I have a general idea of Liam. If it weren’t for a description of Sadie in the first book in the series, I wouldn’t know (think? At this point) she is supposed to be a woman of color. Their age gap seems to be five years at one point, then six. It was confusing and pulled me out of the moment, especially towards the end, when she describes herself as having, at one point in her life, vampire skin.

Everything in Between
-Friendships are still fun and the overall vibe is quick and easy and fun, which was just what I needed. It is definitely not necessary to read the earlier books in the series to follow things here.

The Bottom Line
With minor quibbles, I really enjoyed this and I think it’s the best book of the series. If you’re in the mood for the older woman/younger man trope with a side of hot babysitter, I think you’d enjoy this.

This was so FUN! The perfect mix of entertaining and sweet. Extremely witty with likable characters. I'm totally crushing on Liam. I loved it!

Liam and Sadie were amazing together, I loved their flirting. The story is told from dual POVs and I loved their voices and internal dialogue. I feel like I giggled my way through this. Liam is beyond sweet and swoon worthy. He had such a great personality and was there for Sadie and her girls. He gave me butterflies! I love Sadie's personality and her voice. It was so great watching her become her true self again. I thought they had great chemistry and I loved their attraction. I liked them coming together, all the amusing scenes that took place, and their interactions. I was cheering them on as they were spending more and more time together and their feelings were growing. It was just awesome to read.

I loved seeing Sadie with Brynn and Ash from the first two books and getting their updates. Those were fun scenes. Fun was pretty much the theme because I smiled my way through this entire book. Sadie's girls were beyond adorable and I loved what they brought to the story.

The story line and writing were great. It was a light read filled with a lot of humorous scenes and a nice amount of sexy times. I thought there was great character development and a good pace as well. I loved it all! There was something special about Sadie coming back to herself and becoming the strong, independent woman she always was. It gave me a total feel-good feeling!

Boy Toy was such a sweet and entertaining read, saying I loved it is an understatement! This had been such a great series and I've loved them all but I'm pretty sure this is my favorite! A must read!

An older divorced woman with two adorable cute toddlers, fun friends and few confidence issues thanks to a douchebag ex is reunited with the boy she babysat one summer many years ago, that boy is now all grown up but he hasn’t grown out of the childhood crush he had on her, Boy Toy is their story and what a story it was.

Sadie’s a single mother of twin girls, whilst she’s reluctantly placing her girls in daycare she’s reacquainted with Liam the boy she used to babysit, he’s now a Manny and a fine looking one at that. What follows is a fun, witty tale proving how beautiful true love can be.

Sadie’s reluctant to enter any sort of physical relationship with Liam despite her attraction towards him, she’s got some confidence issues thanks to her ex husband, that combined with the fact she’s a few years older than him and a mother to two of the most adorable little girls ever make her try and keep at arm’s-length but Liam’s very persuasive he gets what he wants and he wants Sadie. They eventually agree on a no strings sexual relationship but those strings pull tighter and tighter till their hearts are all in.

Check out this fun filled rom-com from two amazingly talented authors, I guarantee it will leave your face a little sore from all the smiling you’ll do, I’m still smiling thinking of it.

BOY TOY! You know, this series is so fun. RomCom isn’t my usual but this whole series is hilarious without being ridiculous, just right in the sweet spot for me.. Sadie is best friends with Brynn and Ash from the previous books in this series. They are all very different characters but seem to bring out the best in each other. Their friendship is both supportive, and galvanizing. Sadie was married in the first book and a new mom to twin girls. As the series progressed we witness the eventual demise of her marriage, which is one of those, it’s painful to see, but thank goodness she got away from that jerk scenarios. We’ve all witnessed one of those right?

The May/December trope is amusing, especially since Sadie used to babysit Liam. She resists getting involved, but in the end Liam is irresistible. He’s this wonderful early childhood focused MANNY at the preschool where Sadie reluctantly enrolls her twins. She shares fears that many working moms have, and her attitude was very relatable to me. Tons of opportunity for fun with the adorable twins, and an for idiot ex-husband. Sadie manages to see her self as more than therapist and a single mom, and Liam finally gets the woman of his dreams right where he’s always wanted her.

I know I’ve told you before how much I adore Sarina Bowen, (still true). This duo creates a winning balance of meaningful emotion, funny dialogue to deliver the perfect relaxing weekend read. Grab it!

Sadie is a single mother raising her twin girls on her own. There dad comes around when ever he wants. Its not easy for Sadie, There isn't enough hours in a day to get everything done, but she does her best. Sadie has the support of her best friends( Brynn and Ash) and her sister meg. Now Sadie has enrolled the Girls(Kate and Amy) in pre-school. Talk about being stressed out. She feels guilty and has all the what ifs going on. She has though all those questions just nag you. Sadie is also worried that the girls are going to have a hard time when dropping them off. That first day of pre-school she walks in and drops the girls of and that's when she meets Liam. He introduces him self to Sadie, Amy and Kate. The girls go with out any problems. Liam talk to Sadie to get all the info of the girls. Sadie does realize she knows Liam. He remembers her and tells her who is. She used to be his baby sitter. They build a friendship again. Liam is amazing with the girls. Sadie and Liam are attracted to each other, but Sadie has the age thing as an issue. That's not the only issue she has. Her ex husband has done a number on her and she is having a hard time with it. Sadie made me laugh. Liam made me think why aren't more men like him? This story was funny, sad and loving. I was routing for Sadie and Liam. I know I can't wait to read the next book. I couldn't put this book down, Thank you United Indie book Blog for allowing me to read this boo

This series has had me laughing and turning the fan on high since the turn of the first page of Man Hands. A trio of friends finding their ‘one’ in very different, but equally entertaining and humor-filled ways meant a trilogy of feel good reads that has ended with Boy Toy. I eagerly awaited Sadie’s story and it was as unconventional as it was heart-warming….

Not only was this a younger man/older woman trope, a second chance (though some may argue this) but also a change-up of the traditional man-woman roles as well. If you weren’t a fan of any of these storylines, don’t worry, you will soon become a convert. Liam and Sadie are just that good…

Liam was sexy, great with kids and still suffering the worst (or best) girl crush he’s had since he was fourteen. Hearing his inner voice wrestle with his then teenage self and the very grown up man he has become was hilarious as well as touching. His pursuit of Sadie was not just a blast from the past but a here and now falling in love over again. Sadie had her doubts and many, many misgivings but under Liam’s relentless, and irresistible charm, she tried to resist. Oh she tried…

Funny, with many pings to the heart, this is a love story that faced every challenge head on with grace and humour. Save this book for a day when you need a massive pick me up – it will do the job nicely!

Wowza!! Another sizzling forbidden/childhood romance you don’t want to miss. I love these two authors together. This is the third book of the Man Hand series and you will not be disappointed.

Boy Toy is about Sadie and Liam. Sadie is a single mom to twin girls. The first day she brought the girls to daycare she did expect to meet their teacher, a handsome attractive young man. Right off the bat, Sadie has butterflies from a short conversation with Liam. Come to find out, Sadie used to babysit Liam when he was 14 years old. But hold up! Liam had a huge crush on his young babysitter that summer. Liam had a blast and he never thought he would see her again. Now Sadie is back, beautiful, matured and gorgeous as ever. Liam is all grown up too. He realizes this union is not a coincidence but faith. Liam is determined to win back his childhood crush. He will not let her walk away the second time without letting Sadie know exactly how he feels. Look! This story is really cute filled with hilarious banters. The chemistry is awesome regardless of their age difference (not much though). It was tasteful, sexy and romantic. The girls are adorable and Liam is so amazing with them – totally swoony hero. Can’t find any fault in Liam – smart, sexy, loving, protective, and just everything you want in a hero. I love Sadie too – she is a devoted mom, works hard, caring, and so deserves a break. Overall, Boy Toy is a fantastic read!

BOY TOY, the third installment of the ”Man Hands” series was filled with numerous laugh out loud moments, steam, and even some heart-aching angst. The pace of the story flowed smoothly, so much that never once did I feel that I wasn’t completely entertained. I was fully engaged with the plot and loved most of the characters.

I love a romance between an older woman and a younger man. The age difference isn’t really that huge. Sadie is six years older than Liam. What makes them seem worlds apart is the fact that Sadie used to babysit Liam and his younger siblings when he was fourteen, and she’s also a single mother to precocious twin daughters. But we learn quickly that Liam is more than just a pretty face with a hot body. This guy is every woman’s dream come true. I honestly felt that he was the star of this story.

We are given both Sadie and Liam’s POVs through alternating chapters. Liam was such an amazing character and I was rooting for him to finally get the woman of his dreams the entire time, and I loved his relationship with little Kate and Amy. While Sadie was a frustrating character at times, I understood her hesitance to take a chance with her heart again.

Here are my overall ratings

Hero: 5
Heroine: 4
Plot: 4
Angst: 4
Steam: 4.5
Chemistry Between Hero & Heroine: 5

I truly enjoyed reading Boy Toy by Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby, the third book in their Man Hands series. I laughed and swooned so much. A single mother of twin toddlers just trying to find her new normal and the devastatingly handsome younger man she cannot want, right?

Sadie Matthews wants to be a good mother. And though she feels like she is floundering in life sometimes, she really was a strong and determined woman. Liam Matthews may be younger than Sadie, but he is all man now. He was sexy, sweet and just wonderful with her daughters. They were both great characters and I just loved them!

Sadie does not want or need anything serious right now. Her marriage was a disaster before it ended and now she needs to put her girls and herself first. And well, Liam is five years younger than her and she used to babysit him. But he is no teenager anymore and he wants more. Can he convince her he is so much more than just a boy toy before its too late?

I absolutely loved reading every moment of this book. Boy Toy, though an amazing RomCom, is also very heartwarming. It had great characters and I loved the dynamics not only between the adults, but also with the girls. This was a great read an one I highly recommend!

4.5 loved it stars! Happy reading!

Oh, how I LOVED this story!!! I was completely hooked after that blurb and after finishing the story leave me wanting more, it was THAT good!!!

Sadie could be any recently divorce mom dealing with leaving her kids for the first time due to her need to go back and join the work force. She puts a strong face to the world but behind the facade are all the insecurities her ex left her with, so she's trying her best to jump start not only her life but her career. Liam is just the perfect man, seriously guys, this man is swoony from beginning to end. He is Sadie's girls daycare teacher but he's also a blast from her past. Liam is actually a teenager Sadie used to babysit years ago, so the age difference is an issue for her.

What I loved the most about Sadie and Liam's story is that it's one hundred percent relatable, these are down to earth characters with imperfections, fears, and a desire to find that partner that is going to love them unconditionally. Their chemistry is palpable from the moment they see each other again, the relationship that develops is sweet, romantic and no doubt sexy.

This is my favorite story from this series. It is a standalone so you really no need to read the first two in order to understand this one.

I absolutely loved this story - it was everything and nothing like I expected. It was full of humor, sweet romance, steamy moments, and a great story line with likeable characters.

Sadie is a single mom, with twin daughters, an ex husband who isn't at all reliable and left her with a lot of emotional baggage. She's shocked when dropping off her children at their daycare center to discover the caregiver in their room is a blast from the past - only he's the grown up hot version of the boy she knew.

Liam has been in love with Sadie since she was his babysitter at fourteen, now a grown man he can act on those feelings if only he could get Sadie on board and show her their age difference means nothing and that not all men are as worthless as her ex.

Boy Toy kept my attention and had me tangled up in my emotions - both understanding why Sadie had qualms with her relationship with Liam while also wanting to yell at her to figure it out. I loved the interactions between them and also with Liam and the twins because they added so much more to the story. There was little drama or angst, but more so just a sweet romance blooming between two people who deserved the best life had to offer and found it in each other.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Just as the previous two books in the series, Boy Toy is filled with OTT dialogue and scenes, awesome characters, and smut (LOL). I love Liam and Sadie together, despite Sadie's concerns that she was too old for him (she was 6 years older). Liam especially has my heart, at times he sounded younger than his 29 years but that didn't annoy me (amazing!). I love that he's so good with Sadie's kids, and he became somebody that Sadie could rely on and trust. I also love seeing Brynn and Ash again. There was always chaos when the three of them met up.

The only thing that bothers me was Sadie's characterization. It wasn't something I realized myself, but rather was pointed out to me through Twitter. A couple of people I followed mentioned that Sadie was written as a black woman in Man Hands ("wispy, curly brown hair, brown skin-"), and in this one her physical description was a bit vague but I did catch a mention of her "wavy hair" and "warm skin", which sounded kind of white to me? I have no idea if the authors have fixed it in the published copy but yeah.

Anyway, this one might just be my favourite out of the three.

DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE ONE OF THE SERIES. YES YES YES!
This duo won me over with their writing since the first book on this series, Man Hands, but it went even further with this 3rd book. This was hilarious and so much fun to read. I love a good single parent romance, especially when the children are so young. And a babysitter romance to boot? Also, the babysitter is younger, and it’s the hero?! HELL YES! I loved everything about it.

I already liked Sadie before, but she became something else on this book. She’s such a strong and amazing person. She deserves everything good in her life. And Liam. She deserves Liam, because he’s AMAZING. He was not only hot and funny, but he loved Sadie and the girls deeply and he fit with them.

Liam and Sadie (and Kate and Amy) were amazing and stinking cute as a family. I loved them together so much. I loved the romance, and how the two shared a history, I loved seeing their feelings develop and how greatly they matched.

I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY ABOUT THIS BOOK. I LOVED IT. THE HUMOUR IS ON POINT, AND THE ROMANCE IS BEYOND SWEET. IT’S INCREDIBLE. IT CAN ALSO BE READ AS A STANDALONE, SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, GIVE IT A READ. YOU WON’T BE SORRY.

'Kissing Liam is the best decision I never really made.'

I suspected, strongly, that I was going to enjoy reading Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby’s Boy Toy, especially give how much I enjoyed the first two books in this series. However, I didn’t expect to stay up to the wee hours with a desperate need to finish reading it.

Liam is… *sigh* Incredibly swoonworthy really doesn’t cover all the things about him that are designed to put a girl’s ovaries on notice. And as for Sadie, I loved her, too. Her female friendships are on point, her mothering struggles all to real, and her body issues the same. Basically, these two are the embodiment of what I love about romance—a relatable—but slightly elevated—everywoman, and a fantasy-dream man who I need to crawl out of the pages and into my life.

So, there you have it. Boy Toy is perhaps not as laugh-out-loud ridiculous funny as Man Hands and Man Card but Sadie and Liam’s story called for something a little less OTT and a little more flirty and fun. These authors nailed that, and then some. Now, I need a nap.

'If I kept a To-Do list, Sadie would be at the top of it. And she would have stayed there for the last fifteen years.'

Second chance romance in a rom-com? Yeah, my buttons were pushed before I even got to the first page. As I was reading Boy Toy, I only got happier and happier. This story of unrequited teen crush of a total swoon-worth younger man and the girl he loved, the divorcee with twins that needs him for not only her childcare but to remind her that she is a woman was a great read.

Liam McAllister is the total package! He was totally ga-ga over Sadie from the age of 14 and he makes no secret of it. His adoration of Sadie was so hot and their sexual encounters were steaming. When reading about his academic endeavors and studying with his glasses on, I went on Hot Nerd alert! The fact that he was working to achieve his dream made him so much hotter. His interactions with Sadie’s twins were so adorable!

Sadie had a confidence problem after her cheating ex left her. She needed Liam in her life. But what she thought was going to be a fling; he had much more in mind. Sadie need to work through the difficulties in her life to realize that Liam was everything she needed.

This story has it all! Laughter, sexy bits and a heart full of feels.

What a pleasure to read.

Sadie has been struggling. Freshly divorced, raising twins, and now going back to work full time, life has become a bit much.

Meeting up with Liam, let alone start hooking up with him isn’t something she was expecting.

Liam has had a crush on Sadie since he was a teenager. Having her back in his life seems kismet. Not to let opportunity go to waste, he’s all about seizing the moment. I loved how unapologetically Liam was in his in his attraction to Sadie.

Having this younger guy smitten with you, is good for your ego, and what a confidence boost. Liam is exactly what the doctor ordered. Though Sadie is a bit stuck on the age thing, Liam does not let up, and gives her his all. I feel it’s amazing he’s that fearless, and pushes Sadie out of her comfort zone.

Boy Toy is the perfect fun, sexy story you need right now. An excellent blend of humor, bedroom (and outside the bedroom) antics, and necessary drama, I enjoyed every second of it. I truly hope Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby will collaborate again.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby are romcom gold. I thoroughly enjoyed this story as both Liam and Sadie were so deliciously sexy as they were adorable. I loved the premise of the story and the swoony connection between our hero and heroine.

I thought Boy Toy was a great addition to this series and could not get enough of these two. Brynn and Ash were great but there was something about Sadie's relateabilty that I loved. A woman in her thirties who is struggling to get her mojo back with a divorce under her belt and a mom of twin toddlers. But when twenty-nine year old Liam Mcallister, a blast from her past, takes one look at Sadie and recognizes her as his babysitter from fifteen years ago, he makes it his mission to show her alll the ways he's come from being a teenager.

Gah! This was fantastic. Liam was sweet and sexy and hit all the right buttons. I just loved his devotion to Sadie and her girls as it hit me right in the mom feels to see this kind and nurturing man devote himself to babies. Gahh!! All in all this was great and I look forward to more! 4 stars! ~Ratula

The entire Man Hands series has been so good, but dare I say that Boy Toy is my favorite????? Although it has a bit less slapstick (and I do love Brynn and her balls all Braht and his suggestive office supplies), I adored that it was a bit sweeter. I'll admit to being a bit leery of Sadie and a relationship with her former babysitting charge, but the age difference was that much at all (just 6 years and it's 15 years later) and holy crap Liam was just perfect enough that I might have been able to overlook a bigger age difference after all. I was 100% all in for their relationship. There was plenty of build up and sexual tension and hilarity and all around perfection.

"I have a brief moment of concern that he could trip on any number of toddler toys between the couch and my bedroom. But Liam has youth on his side, and he seems highly motivated. We arrive in my bedroom less than a minute later."

I mean, REALLY, Bowen and Eby were a fantastic writing duo as usual- there's just nothing I didn't LOVE about Boy Toy- I found Sadie relatable and Liam PERFECTION and this book was just plain fun!

Since her divorce Sadie has been creating a new life for her and her two year old twin daughters. Trying to balance work and her girls can be a bit of a challenge so when the nanny experience does not seem to be the answer she has decided to try daycare.

Liam is working at the daycare while he finishes his graduate degree and although it’s been 15 years when he sees Sadie all his old feelings come rushing back. Sadie babysat him and his siblings when he was 14 and she was the star in all his teenage dreams.

Liam wants a relationship with Sadie but as a result of her divorce her confidence has taken a hit and she doesn’t understand why this sexy younger stud would want a frumpy mother like her. Liam is determined to show her that he loves the woman she is and the way he handles her daughters is enough to make you swoon.

Liam is the perfect combination of sexy and sensitive and now that he has Sadie back in his life he is not about to let her go. Full of emotion, humor and heat this story has all the feels. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I loved everything about this book. It was funny and sweet and absolutely perfect. I love Liam so freaking much!!

Sadie is at a weird spot in her life. Before her husband left her, he left her feeling undesirable. She's getting out again, but is so reluctant to do so. She also has her twins to think about. Kate and Amy are incredibly adorable. I loved their quirks and would mind seeing them all grown up and driving all the boys crazy.

Liam has always had a crush on Sadie. Ever since she was his babysitter.... He's all grown up now, but Sadie still has a tough time not seeing him as that 14 year-old-boy she once knew. I loved Liam!!! He was so sweet and kind and smart and absolutely everything.

I love how they both kind of enter this relationship tentatively. I love that Liam doesn't let Sadie run away and hide. He believes they can be more and continuously shows her through his actions. This book is full of adorably sweet moments and incredibly funny moments and hot, hot, hot moments and you will not want to put it down.

Boy Toy was a fantastic romance with just the right amount of funny and a whole lot of sweet. This is the third book in the Man Hands series and focuses on Sadie.

Sadie starts a bit of a romp let’s say with a man that she used to babysit which gives this book has a little bit of that scandalous element to it. The age gap however isn’t that big and what I loved about this book is the fact that she’s older then him and it just so happens that I myself happen to be older then my hubby as well. So of course immediately I’m all heck yeah Sadie get it girl.

She’s been through a divorce and I’ll be honest her ex seems like a bit of a douche so when she connects with Liam I’m all for it.

And Liam, oh my goodness this man is just a swoon worthy heroine. He’s sweet, and caring and fun not to mention how great he is with Sadie’s girls. Just completely ovary exploding hotness with Liam.

Boy Toy was a fun, exciting and adorable read with a hero that will make you melt and a heroine that will have you saying yasssss girl do your thing.

This is the third book about three best friends finding love. In the first book about Brynn's love story Sadie is married. She has twin girls and winds up divorced.
