Wow, what an amazing story. Lou-Lou (Luicianna) and Ricardo are playing with fire in the likes of Bruno DeLuca, Mob Boss extradionaire. No one and I mean no one goes against him as he is always 3steps in front of everyone else.

This book has it all. Angst, murder, sex, lies and betrayal. Ashley Jade keeps the suspense high and weaves a fantastic story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Crazy suspenseful train ride I endured reading this book. I loved it. I don't do spoilers sorry, but let me tell you how much this book had me going. The characters are ALL in this plot, which thickens and thickens and the storyline guts you to the core. This page turner was written so raw your emotions are tossed all over the place. This is true Dark Romance at its best!! On to the next book .....

Another great book from Ashley Jade. This is a dark, intense and emotional story about two broken people. The story just compels you to keep on reading to the end. I've read several books by Ms. Jade and she has become one of my favorite authors. This is a standalone novel in the series.

After reading Pain I didn't think anyone could beat that power couple but in walks this book and bam! So many emotions rolled up into one book. Lou-Lou hits truth right on the dot when she is soaking to others but because of what she has to do no-one can see past het flaws but one salt. Ricardo is an amazing person. Just love how he can read in between the lines.

I purposely waited for all 3 books of this series to be available before reading them and i'm so glad I waited! I thought the characters were brilliantly written. They weren't perfect by no means but their flaws are what made this story so amazing! Absolutely loved it and can't wait to see what happens next!

While the story kept my attention, I found it frustrating at times. The author stated that
"However, in order to truly enjoy Lou-Lou and Ricardo's story, it is advised you read 'Blame It on the Pain' first."
I read Blame it on the Pain first and while I enjoyed that story it would have been easier for me to follow everything
if I had not read it. Let me explain. It is like the stories are happening around the same time some of the time and other times not.
A main character dies in the first book that is alive in this second book. Also Richard and Lou-Lou are in the the first story. However, their actions are inconsistent with this story. For example, Lou-Lou did something really mean and slimy to Alyssa, the heroine in the first story. However, no where is that action mentioned even though the stories occur during the same time . In the first book, Richardo is a manh&e before and after meeting and falling for Lou-Lou. In the first book he is slimy, always wanting to get in women's pants and talking about it too much. However in this story he not only admits loving Lou-Lou but it faithful to her and stops the icky behavior after meeting her. (Love this version of him much better). There are other things that occur too that were never mentioned in the first story. Also this story ends on a cliffhanger with the guy that died in the first book. I already know what happens to him and have no desire to read the next book if I am not only reading about him but also having Richardo not be faithful to Lou-Lou anymore, that I am afraid will happen.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. It gave the background of Lou Lou n Ricardo n Richardo father. But you will be amazed about Lou Lou n her background n her attitude she hates most females. She feels jealous and unsettling at them. The part where it leaves off good I can't wait to see what happens next

I voluntarily reviewed a advanced readers copy. Lou Lou's story is truly heartbreaking. This isn't a sweet love story. I wanted to reach in my kindle and choke Bruno so many times, but I could not put this book down, it drew me in and wouldn't let me go and now I'm onto book two.

Mafia stories have never been my favorite genre, but this trilogy was so highly rated I gave it a try.
Bruno is the powerful mob boss who rescues Lucianna from an abusive father when she is 15. He takes her in and when she turns 18, he takes three to bed. She thinks she loves him and does not resist. It just seems hard to believe that an 18 year old would fall for a 50 + year old man. His son, Ricardo has never liked his father and never wants to take over from his father. So Bruno makes deal with his son: win all his fights in Bruno's fighting club over 10 years and Ricardo can earn his freedom. Of course Bruno has no intention of letting him go. He them puts Ricardo in charge of training two particularly good fighters
and manage the fighters for ten years, then he can have the club. Then he stupidly sends Lucianna to spy on his son and try to break up the close friendship between the fighters. Of course sparks fly and before you know it Lucianna is having to choose between father and son.

Wow!!! What can I say here besides Bruno DeLuca is a man who thrives on violence whether it be family or not... He has zero feelings....

Lou-Lou had a story to be told and this was a heartbreaking story. One that started out as a young girl and hasnt stopped yet... There is a reason she is always showing 'attitude' with everyone...it's her defense mechanism... How else can you survive for 24 years and not come up with some plan...

Ricardo-Ricky...Hello!!! 100% all man and knows how to treat a woman...unlike his father. He has sold his life to him for 10 yrs again...this time things are going to go differently *fingers crossed* But when you are dealing with Bruno DeLuca, nothing surprises me!!!

This is a fabulous story that till the last page, you wanted to shank someone!!! For that reason, its worthy of a 5 star rating from me!! Held me all the way to the end... Cant wait for the next one.

Love these Ricardo sayings:
Toughen up, sport, Always prepare for the unexpected!

The only thing I can compare it to is what happens when magnets flip and find one another <3

I thought this book was really well written. It had lots of angst, great storyline, sexy man, and a little firecracker of a woman. So check it out and see how the beginning of this series unfolds.
Thanks
