How this author managed to identify and insert so many daily occurrences amazed me and made me laugh our loud constantly. A very entertaining read for all parents I'm sure.
At least I now know I'm not alone....

Full of advice for parents and care-takers of toddlers. Hard to read because you are laughing so hard. Thank goodness I am a grandma and according to the book, do everything right. Now if I can only convince my daughter of that!

This book is fantastic. I am only halfway through, but I am learning so much about how to be a better parent to my toddler! Thank you Honest Toddler for showing me the light! This is a definite must-read for any parent with a little one!!

i had followed honest toddle on fb and thought what they posted was funny but after starting the book i quickly realized the book was more of a parenting handbook and told parents to do lots of things i don't personally agree with although it has its lol moments i did find it to be difficult reading since my beliefs differ so much from its parental advice

This book is not meant to give earnest advice but it is a chance to commiserate with a shared experience of the toddler years. I completed reading it in about two days time and I'm passing it on to a Mommy-friend so we can laugh over it together. Some passages do duplicate the blog.

I was so excited when this book finally arrived earlier this week--I had been awaiting its arrival since February. Don't get me wrong, following "Honest Toddler" on twitter and facebook is great, but I needed a dose of the full experience.

It did not disappoint!

As a mom of a raging toddler girl, I was super excited that her little voice was popping into my head throughout the book. It's funny, intuitive, and yes, it hits a bit close to home sometimes. (Don't worry, baby girl, momma will be home soon with plenty of red drink and unbroken crackers!)

If you have a toddler, have had a toddler, or might have a toddler someday, you should read this book. It will definitely put a smile on your face for weeks.

Sorry to leave a negative review, but this book neither made me laugh nor taught me anything about my toddler's mindset. I had hoped it would do one or the other. Humor is such a personal thing, and this one didn't work for me. It was a recommendation from a friend who got this one wrong.

This author genuinely GETS toddlers. While I'm not blessed with a toddler of my own yet, I am a teacher in the early childhood field so I have lots of experience working with these amazing little humans. The anecdotes and stories are SPOT ON, many of which I'm guilty of: "gentle hands" comes out of my mouth at least 3 times a day. I find myself reading excerpts aloud to anyone who will listen. Definitely a book that will cause you to laugh out loud, so choose your environment wisely or else you might get funny stares from people on the subway or at a coffee shop.

Other reviewers have mentioned that they prefer the Twitter profile because it's better in less doses... I disagree. I personally can't get enough of The Honest Toddler so I think the book is PERFECT! It's great if you have five or ten minutes and are in need of a laugh. You won't be disappointed!

This book is seriously laugh out loud funny! I love this book so much that I read it out loud to whoever will listen! (I think it is rude to keep the humor to myself) Even my kids like to read/hear me read this book.

I love the HT Facebook updates. The little snippets make me giggle and the longer blogs are amusing when they come out occasionally. The book however is 18 chapters of the repeating theme of 'It's all about me' and "Don't make a big deal", which is repeated several times. I think in this large a chunk it loses some of its special appeal and humor. I am hoping it didn't ruin me on the blog/updates but I might be over it now. This book is only ok. Maybe it would be funnier as a gift to toddler parents who are NOT yet familiar with the online persona.

I saw several links to HT on Facebook and thought the book would be funny. I am having trouble getting through it. I laughed through the first chapter or so but it's a bit redundant after getting a few chapters into it.

So, I ordered this book I finished Confessions of a Domestic Failure in 3 nights. I usually don't read because of my dyslexia and exhaustion from parenting, but I loved Confessions so much, I just had to read anything else by Bunmi.
So, unfortunately, I can't read this book. The first night, I couldn't even get through the first chapter. I waited a few more days thinking maybe I was too tired to "get" it. I forced myself to finish the first chapter and read the second chapter hoping it would get better. I can't stand it. I don't understand the wonderful reviews on this at all.
