This was a great book. It was funny and I would definitely recommend this book to anybody that likes funny books. I especially like when the Herdmans go on the bus and put turtles down everybody's back. Or when they stole baby Howard and drew on his head with waterproof marker. The Herdmans are very weird and you can definitly expect excitement in this hilarious book.

I read the magnificent the tremendous the extraordinary book called The Best School Year Ever.Its about a girl who is in the sixth grade and has to put up with the horrible Imogene Herdman.And has to think up a omplioment to tell her by the end of the year.I loved the magnificent characters but I an't tell youwhat happens.But I can tell you don't judge people by what they are the outside but what they are on the inside.

This book isnt that great,a little funny. One funny part was about the teachers lounge. Theres these kids named Ralph, Imogene, Leroy, Claude, and Ollie.these kids are the Herdmans.they lie ,dont go to school,smoke and set fires. One chapter I really liked was fire prevention day. There was a 2nd grader that brout in a bear and the Herdmans put a half smoked cigar in his mouth,matchs and lighters in his paws.If you want to by this book go head.By shane

The book I read was called The Best School Year Ever. The main characters are Beth, Howard, and Imogene. Beth is a main character because she is the narrator of the story. Howard is the main character because in the middle of the book he lost his blanket and Imogene gives him hers. The Herdmans steal Howard and tattoo his head with permanent marker.

I give this book The Best School Ever a 4 star rating. I give this book a 4 star because it skipped around and I could not follow it good but the rest was good. I thought it was funny when a boy got his head stuck. That is why I give this book a 4 star rating. by:zach

I thought the book was good because Beth, the narrator, kind of taught Imogene a lesson on how to be nice. Beth had to write a compliments about Imogene. At the last day of school Imogene had Beth write a word on her arm.

I thought that the book was ok. My favorite part was when sombody got their head stuck in a bike rack. I didnt like the first chapter because it was so long and had so much information,like the tattoed baby. This book was OK.

I liked this book,I would recommend this book to kids older than eight.I liked how the Herdmans were smart-allecks.It also was very confusing.The Herdmans were funny but the rest of the story was dull!Sorry if that hurts you.

The Herdmans! This book was especialy about how the Herdmans

did bad things and got rewarded for it. For example,one of the

Herdmans buried his pet snake after scaring his teacher with it.

He got a Good Citizen Award. One of my favorite parts was when

the Herdmans put cigaretts and fire crackers on Smokey THE BEAR

I read The Best School Year Ever by Barbara Robinson. I loved it! It is about this family called the Herdmans. They cause a bunch of chaos! In one of the chapters ,one Herdmans steals this girl ,Louella's , little baby brother! They drew pictures on his head and said,"Twenty-five Cents to see The Amazing Tattooed Baby!"I think you would like this book if want to read about the Crazy Herdmans!

My husband has LOVED the Worst/Best Christmas pageant ever! I actually bought this book for him and the Worst/Best Halloween ever! He absolutely loves them! He actually laughed outloud at some of the Antics of this "crew". Unique and Fun!

I think this book was funny.I recommend this book to the other 5th grade classes.I think it was funny when the Herdmans washed their cat in the washing machine at the laundry mat.I also thought it was funny when Imogene [took] Howerd and wrote on his head with markers and called him the tatoo boy.I think this is the best book I ever read.

The Herdmans are always doing something wrong. My favorite part is when the teachers were throwing things out the teachers room!The little kids were scared when the Herdmans said bus six was doomed!And one of the Herdmans wouldn't go on bus six for a field trip. The other kids thought that the Herdmans did something to the bus.

The Best School Year Ever was a great book! I give it 4 stars. I do recommend this book to anybody who likes funny kids. If you didn't read this book you have to! This book has a lot of great characters. Some of the characters are Imogene, Howard, Beth, and Gladys. You've got to read this book!!! You will love it!
