Tormentor Mine

Another winner from Anna Zaire's, Dima Zale's that I found hard to put down. Sara and Peter have a complicated relationship; they are drawn to each other and Peter cannot stay away. Looking forward to the next book in this new series; I highly recommend this book and authors.

Loved Peter and Sara's story. Wow just wow...Anna knows just how to deliver a ride that will have you smiling long after. I will not ruin the experience by giving any story away but Peters quest for revenge is conquered by a love so powerful and real it sets off all his protective instincts and has your kindle explode with pure heat!!!! I liked the book okay, although the premise is similar to the Twisted series. I am most upset that I did not know that this was going to continue into a series or a trilogy. I hate waiting for the next installment. You have demonstrated in the past that the wait can be very long.

Anna Zaires is my favorite auther , you nailed it again and you didn't disappoint us.

I enjoyed reading this story and enjoyed most things about it. This review
contains spoilers for this story, which are marked and includes comparisons
to the Capture and Twist Me series.

The hero, Peter, was OTT possessive and obsessed about the heroine, which I loved.
Peter became a stalker, needing to watch her at all times regardless of the fact
that he violated her privacy.

I love that the author's heroes are faithful, including in this story.
Once Peter touched Sara, he was a goner, whether he realized it or not.
No other woman would do. There is no indication that he touched much
less looked at OW after seeing Sara nor is there anything to indicate
that he was a manhoe even before meeting her.

The story kept my interest. At no time was a bored. It was a good
mix of romance and suspense. There were good hot sexy times
but not too many. To me there were the right amount.

COMPARISON TO CAPTURE ME AND TWIST ME
SERIES IS BELOW

I was afraid that the story would be too "dark" for me but it wasn't.
Peter was comparable to Lucas in the Capture Me series as opposed to not so "hero" Julian in the Twist Me series.
While I liked this author's "Capture Series" I had to skip over parts in the first book of the "Twist Me"
series and did not buy the rest. In Twist Me, Julian's sadist behavior was too much for me.
I could not stomach reading Julian's repeated torture of Nora and had no desire to read the 2 remaining books.
By contrast, I read and enjoyed all three of the Capture series and there were no skipped parts.
I could handle how Lucas treated Yulia. Unlike how Julian treated Nora, Lucas did not leave Yulia in pain & tears
and the smex scenes were hot as opposed to a turn off.

Unlike Nora from Twist me, Sara was not a push over doormat.
Rather Sara's behavior towards Peter was similar to
Yulia's reaction to Lucas. Sara did not forgive Peter
right away and kept trying to make him let her go while still
enjoying having smex with him.

SPOILERS FOR TORMENTOR MINE BELOW

While I disliked the fact that Peter tortured Sara and added to her PTSD
I could handle it. While what was done was bad, it did not last long
long and was a one time incident. Also Peter felt remorse after he got to
know and love Sara and I expected the story to include dark scenes
as the book is labeled as a dark romance.

I was worried that since they both had been married before and
both of her spouses were deceased that they would pine over their
deceased spouses and feel more intense feelings for said spouses
than they did for each other but that was not the case. I was
especially concerned after reading the book summary as it showed
that the reason that they met was because Peter was devastated
by his wife and sons death and had been avenging their deaths
for five years. However the author made it clear that while
Peter liked being married and loved his son, he never loved
his wife. Also while Sara's husband was her first and only lover
before meeting Peter, their marriage was already on the decline
and they were separated when he died.

I look forward to reading the next book in the series and am
hoping that it is published in the next couple of months.

Another dark read of Anna's , that I really enjoyed!!! It had some predictability , but it was sooo good!!! The sex scenes are hot!!!!! It was nice hearing about Julian Esguerra. I love him!!!! Peter reminds me of him, but there is only 1 Julian!!!!!
I can't wait until the next book is released!!!! Keep up the good work Annna !!!!

Anna Zaires does it again!!!!!! Tormentor Mine I read in a day!! But the Wait for the next book is going to be TORTURE!!!!!!!! I hope we don't have to wait long for Peter and Sara story to Continue. I read SOOOO many books and but Anna Zaires novels stick with me for so long. I could go on to review this book but just get it. Esp if you have read her other books.

Anna is one of my favorite authors. Just reread Tormentor Mine for the third time in anticipation or Obsession Mine coming out later this month! Cannot wait!
Peter is dark and dangerous, and the perfectly well-rounded character to make you love him despite all his flaws. His love for Sarah is controlling and passionate and oh-so deliciously alpha. Add in a page turning plot and you have a novel only Anna Zaires can bring you!

I totally fell in love with the characters albeit the circumstances at times, authors did a fantastic job with the storyline , would recommend this to anyone who enjoys an obsessively handsome villain and an equally strong female lead, looking forward to book three in this trilogy, yes book 2 was just as awesome as book one .

This story was just perfect! Villain that you learn to love! Woman that you can relate to and the relationship that is almost impossible! Gotta love those Russian ex military man that know how to take care of their woman and how to cook!

Omg I thought the Twist Me series was good but this book was awesome. I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. I was so into the book I got upset when it ended the way it did. I can't wait for the next book to come.

Love and hate Peter. Sad about what happened to his family. This book draws you in and makes it very hard to put down. I'm counting down the days till Obsession comes out. Anna Zaires does it again. I highly recommend this book. You will love this book.

I saw this book in the recommendations from the store. The reviews were amazing and I decided to read this series. This is my first book form this author and I love it!!! This story between Peter & Sara is conflicting because of course the obvious but I don't want to give any spoilers. Very well written highly recommended!!!!

This was a real page turner. The story caused all kinds of emotions, from sadness at the death of Peters family, to anger at Sara's inability to do anything with her predicament. Well worth the cost of the book.

I was torn by the heartbreak leading Peter on his mission to seek retribution for the loss of his wife and worse the loss of his toddler who adored his Daddy and the unfair cruelty used to find Sarah's husband. I want to see them find a way to make this work. I can't wait to read more.

The book had 3794 locations on my kindle. The book was about a woman, named Sara and a man, named Peter. Sara was a 28 year old divorced doctor. Peter was a 35 year old killer. Sara's ex husband was responsible for Peter's wife and son being killed. Peter went to question Sara in hopes of finding the ex. The book contained some hot sex scenes which I liked. The Sara character was ok. She didn't immediately fall in love with Peter, which I liked. I know Peter killed people. I know Peter drugged Sara and did a bit more , but overall he was too much of a pussy cat. He was the perfect man. He pampered, took care of and coddled Sara. He waited on her hand and foot, like he was Prince Charming. I wanted the Peter character to be a bit more darker, which is the reason for the 3 stars. I also hated the fact, that technically the book did not end. Sara and Peters story continues in Obssession Mine. The 2nd book is not even available.

I really enjoyed this book it had excitement and adventure within its pages. The story is well written and you want want to put the book down until the end. I'm ready for part two of Peter`s story I hope I don't have to wait to long.. Excellent job Anna and Dima keep up the good work.

This is my first time reading anything from Anna Zaires, and I am completely blown away! It was the perfect amount of sweetness, sexiness, while still having a decent storyline. I ended up binge reading this in less than 3 hours, into the early morning and I definitely do not regret it!!

The tragic beginning shadows the story - but otherwise i loved the story - especially that despite her attraction, Sara is putting resourceful resistance to push Peter away, and the blend of tenderness and darkness in Peter's relationship. Excellent extension of Twist Me.

I am delighted to say that this book was terrific. Peter had so much depth, and the story was suspenseful from the beginning. This book was completely different from the other trilogies, but just as fascinating and well written. Can't wait for book two!

These authors never disappoint!! I loved Peter and Sara's story. I was dreading for this book to end and was so pleased that we could have another book to end their exciting story. I'll be waiting on pins and needles until the next book.

The ending seemed too rushed. The story itself was great and I enjoyed every moment...
until I got to the ending. I'm really hoping this will have a sequel which I don't normally dig but I'll definitely make an exception here. ;)

Loved loved loved this story about Peter and Sara. Very intense. Kept my attention throughout the book. The emotions and feelings from Peter & Sara jump off the page and I could feel their emotions too!! Loved dual POV. A must read!!

Just gonna say that I never write reviews, but this book blew me away. If you're a fan of a dark romance that will make you on edge and anticipate what happens next...this book is for you. The author made me "like" Peter when I didn't anticipate being sucked in. Now I'm reading everything she's written and counting down the days until the second book comes out....only 12 days to go!!!

So sad when this book was finished. The story between Peter and Sara is complicated. Peter is a shredded man who is just looking for something normal in his life and Sara dealing with her own demons with her husbands death. I can't wait to see this couple in the future as they learn to forgive, love and live.

I love Anna Zaires she never ever gives you anything but fantastic!!! I could not put this book down!! It was great!! I loved Peter and I loved Sara!! You know he is dangerous but you can't help but love him!! This is another 5 star book but Anna!! Osu Anna please get busy writing Peter and Sara 2!!

Love this spin off fromTwist Me and Capture Me Series love all these alpha men in her books but didn't realize this was a cliff hanger so a little mad but I loved the book too much to care can't wait for the next one!

At some points I felt her concentration jump through her words and then I'd lose the flow of the story. All that won't stop me from giving it 5 starts because the story is still good, the characters had chemistry and the book left me wanting more?

I love her books. This one is just perfect......except the second book is not out yet, and I want to read it now! This has everything...Great characters, hot sex, interesting story line. Don't miss it.

This is an engaging book. It encompasses the erotic yet provides a plot and captures the reader in the story web. It is also well written which puts it in an entirely different category from most erotica.

Anna Zaires is a wonderful storyteller, and with this novel she demonstrates her ability to incorporate philosophy, multi-layered characters, and beautiful writing into a dark romance. I've enjoyed all of her other books, but this one fully showcases her talent as a author. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
