Dominion (The Dominion Series Book 1)

This was a very well written book. I really enjoyed the suspense and the detail that the author put into the book. I love the depth of the characters and the attention to their back stories. I could not wait to finish and start on the next one just to find out what was going to happen next.

Intense passion with guilt. Discipline with love and respect and letting you itself be free. This is a good read with a great pace. A little hard to start but finishes with you hanging. Next book will be easier as characters are established

Well written plot and great dialogue. Not a huge fan of the paranormal genre, but this one has an interesting plot that keeps you going. The dialogue works very well. Definitely not a PG book, but it could be. The author could write PG, which says the author doesn't depend on sex for the story. I picked up the second book right away.

I usually don't go for the supernatural genre. However, a friend recommended it and the sample I read made me want to see what happens to these characters. The book is well written and moves at a pretty good pace. The suspense is perfect. This is adult Twilight....Great storyline.....

It seemed shallow. I kept trying to relate with the characters but it seemed superficial and jumped from, "he was cute" to "I can't keep my hands of him" to " I love him" in one jump. Not my favorite.

I gave this 2 stars because someone actual built a story with a beginning, middle and end, I think (as I won't go there to find out).
I dislike romance books that have "no" foreplay. If you hit the reader in the face with the orgasm in the 1st few pages of the book, why waste their time with a badly told story with erratic character development afterwards? NO, they weren't in bed at page 6, but she was already "enthralled". And I'm left wondering why a 5 star book! Kim Harrison-5 star books, Charles Dickens, Jane Ayre, "classics" - A sophisticated, educated, French, vampire, priest does not use "duh" while conversing. A well written character does not slip back and forth from mature, and worldly to pre-adolescent. I've have read so much of this in the characters of new authors I'm beginning to believe that only preteens write ebooks.

This is a wonderfully written novel about a young vampire hunter and the 800 year old vampire twin brothers who drag her into their world.

There's a bit of almost everything in this book; sex (with BDSM themes), sexy vampires, tough heroine, action and intrigue. Add to this the quality of the writing and this is a great book. I'll definitely be reading Ascension (book 2).

Liked the story line. Just bought the whole series. There are a few language errors, for example comma's in the wrong places, and the incorrect use of 'there' in stead of 'their'. Otherwise I enjoyed the free book.

This book has everything from sex, love, drama and action. Its a very exciting read, definitely hard to out down! Two hot vampire twins fall for a human girl who happens to be a vampire hunter. if you are a fan of vampires or The Vampire Diaries you will love this book!!!

I absolutely loved this story! It was well written and visually creative and stimulating. A good book should be able to allow mental simulation of the story unfolding and Dominion did just that! Congrats to S.E. Lund for such a compelling and thrilling story. On to Ascension!

I'm intrigued by the world building and the character development. It could use content editing and a final copy edit. Unnecessary repetition gets annoying in places and although this is meant to be a serialized story, there were and could be better places to end this story. If you can overlook the minor issues, you'll find the story as "enthralling" as the vampires.

This book was riveting. I could not tear myself away from Most e-books don't last very long. This book was well done and it did not let me down as some books do in length. I loved the characters and cannot wait to finish my review to buy the next book. lol must read.

I learned about this book through Twitter and I'm so glad I picked it up! I've always enjoyed reading Vampire Novels, but Dominion had something different! Not only is it fast paced with hot love scenes, but it also involves a suspenseful crime story. I couldn't stop turning the pages. I'm looking forward to moving on to Book 2 and I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. I will definitely recommend!

Just finished reading Dominion book 1. This is my first book by S.E.Lund. I was swept away by her story. I love reading paranormal stories. this was so good.I thought that having identical twins was great.....Julian and Michel were so captivating. Poor Eve being swept away in this adventure...I love

I cant believe I found this book. Great read. You have mystery,sex you name it. The characters are easy to identify with.Sect twin brother vampires,which one to choose? Could not put this book down. I highly recommend to buy both the Dominion & Assension. Can not wait until book three is released in December.

This series came along when I was feeling like the current books being released were sub-par to what they could be. It filled the void and I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the third book! The characters in this book were so easy to identify with and I feel like I know them and can't wait to see where their journeys go.

This intelligent well written novel combines all the best aspects of The Vampire Diaries, Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey. It by no means targets a teenage audience. The story follows Eve, a premed student, searching for answers about her mothers death and her desire for revenge against the vampires responsible. That is until she meets twin brothers Michel and Julien and she realizes that although they are vampires (reluctantly), they retain much of their human goodness and she can't control her attraction to them. The author successfully draws you into the romance and makes you feel the desire between them. Without giving too much away, the sexual experiences are AMAZING in that they feel each others lust and physical reactions (a vampire thing!) and you really understand why Eve can't stay away. The book has a well thought out storyline and is not overwhelmed with too much sex but has enough romantic kink to make you yearn to keep reading and hope they each get what they need from the relationship(s).
The book ends with a cliffhanger and I immediately downloaded the sequel Ascension. Can't wait to find out what happens next!
FOOTNOTE: I normally have no interest in anything Vampire but this love story is too good. I learned about it reading a recommendation on Twitter. You'll be glad you read it.
