Loved this book!! I just love Emma Hart! She knows how to write a damn good book! The Hook-Up Experiment was Hilarious! I really enjoyed reading this! Peyton was a Blast! She is overly dramatic about everything, she is someone you instantly love. Peyton owns Pick-A-Dick, a hook up company. She is a woman who takes no shit, she is stubborn and full of sarcasm and sass! Peyton is challenged to a bet by her brother, who is the romantic, and owns his own dating company. The bet is that she can't sleep with a guy 3 times in two weeks without falling in love. Throw in her two friends, Mellie and Chloe, who pick a guy using her database and the games begin! Elliot is Peyton's blind date, the guy chosen for her bet. Elliot also happens to be the guy from her past who broke her heart in high school 10 years ago! Did I mention Peyton is dramatic lol she is still going strong holding that grudge from high school. I loved Elliot and Peyton! They have a Hate relationship and together decided this situation works out perfect for them both! I mean what could possibly go wrong?? This was a great read! It's a beautiful blend of a Love/Hate, Second Chance romance, with lots of laughs! I rooted for these two from their first encounter! Loved this book! Once again Emma Hart delivers a fun, sexy romantic comedy that will get grab you from the first page and keep you interested till the last! The dynamic between Peyton and Elliott is electric from their first date and they keep things interesting the whole book. And when Elliott takes care of his daughter, you will fall for him too! If you are looking for a great romantic comedy look not further! See what PAD has in store for you.

Peyton loves her job at PAD, but when her brother bets her that she can’t just sleep with someone 3 times and not develop feelings for them she wants to prove him wrong. And of course her two best friends pick a guy from her website that they think will be perfect for her to prove her brother wrong, or did they?

Elliott can’t believe his blind date is Peyton whom he dated in high school but ended killing any chance of a relationship with her after a mistake. But when she tells him why she is willing to give him a chance he won’t pass a chance to maybe make things right.

As Peyton tries to prove her brother wrong she spends more time with Elliott and begins to fall a little more for him each time and for his little girl. But is she ready to give him a chance again? Or will she let the one good thing that she has found slip through her fingers?

The Hook-Up Experiment was a sweet, sexy, and hilarious standalone romantic comedy, and I truly loved it! Emma Hart did an amazing job with the storyline and characters, and I really enjoyed her writing style.

Elliot and Peyton were wonderful and I really enjoyed them and their story. I loved their personalities and chemistry together, and I liked how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Elliot and Peyton’s POV, and I enjoyed all of their banter and interactions with each other. I really don’t have anything negative to say other than I would have loved even more between Elliot and Peyton. I love when Emma Hart writes kids into her books, and little Briony was absolutely adorable. The secondary characters were wonderful as well, and they added plenty of humor and entertainment to the story. I truly loved The Hook-Up Experiment from beginning to end, and I was very happy with the conclusion to Elliot and Peyton’s story.

The Hook-Up Experiment was a sweet, sexy, sassy, and truly hilarious standalone romantic comedy, and I would highly recommend it! Emma Hart did an amazing job with this book, and I was very pleased with the outcome to Elliot and Peyton’s story!

Give me a sarcastic heroine and a hero willing to put up with her and you've got a recipe for a great book. Add in a child that literally breathes sunshine into the world and it's like the sherry on top. That book just went from great to freakin amazing. The Hook-Up Experiment had it all. It all started with a bet.....which we all know never leads to anything good. Especially when the bet made is with your brother and you let your supposed best friends pick out the experiment....now it's a possible recipe for disaster.
I loved every word. Every leaf that was turned over and unlocked hurt from the past and uncovered feelings that have always lingered there. Peyton and Sloane were amazing together when they let themselves be. Maybe the way things turned out was for the best all along. It did create Briony after all. The little girl who wants to know the how and why of everything. Sounds like some other kids I know. This little girl breathes sunshine into the world and makes it a brighter place.
Take the heat made between the sheets, the fire that Peyton breathes over learning some things about the past, and the sunshine Briony breathes and this world is on fire. Like all Emma Hart books for me, I couldn't put it down. She always creates a story that I have no problem getting lost in. I can envision every scene crystal clear like I'm living it for myself. Those are the ones that are the best for me.

I laughed uncontrollably at this book and my mouth pretty much stayed open the entire time I was reading this story- because it was AMAZING! I fell in love with the characters and truly enjoyed the funny scenarios they got themselves into- whether it was their initial meeting or taking care of Elliot's daughter. How Emma managed to put together a Rom Com that included a Single Dad is beyond me, but it was nothing short of amazing. Emma's writing is fun, flirty, sassy and dirty and this story was so much fun to follow!
Peyton and Elliot are a match made in my favorite city (NOLA)- it's just too bad that they let years and years of a misunderstanding get in the way. Peyton is a no-nonsense but extremely dramatic woman (my kind of girl) who takes a bet with her brother that she can have sex with a guy three times and NOT fall in love (apparently she lives in la la land for that bet as well, but I appreciate her attempt nonetheless!) When she walks in on her blind date to find that it's the guy that she has hated the most for 10 years, hilarious activities ensue!
The characters have chemistry, the writing was phenomenal, and I gobbled up this book which is why I give it 5 stars. It was the perfect amount of dirty and fun, yet throw in some emotional reading too. I truly enjoyed reading it and can't wait to read more by Emma. I highly recommend it!

Peyton is a smart, sassy, and fierce young woman. She's very loyal to her friends and family. But she's also very stubborn and very proud. I loved her confidence and how she wasn't afraid to speak her mind.
Elliott will make you swoon with his sweetness and melt you with his dirty talk. He's that hot. He's a sweet guy with a huge and kind heart, but, like Peyton, he's very stubborn. I loved how sweet and patient he was with his daughter.

Emma Hart did an amazing job with The Hook-Up Experiment! This is the perfect rom-com! It will make you laugh and swoon a lot. The characters are incredible and they'll make you cheer for them. I can't wait to read Chloe and Dom's story!

I have to say, Emma Hart is a hit or miss for me, I either LOVE the book, or it’s meh, so I’m happy to say, I absolutely loved this one.

The book is told in dual POV, and the writing is so funny and engaging. Hart wrote an hilarious book. But there’s one thing that makes this book even better (because I have issues, apparently): Elliott is a single dad… of a 3yo little girl. And Emma Hart writes the most amazing single dads… (see Miss Fix-It)..

This is a second chance romance and a bit of enemy to lovers, with a bet in the mix, and 2 characters who are so incredibly stubborn, especially Peyton, she’s the queen of being stubborn. It’s hilarious. I loved the chemistry between Peyton and Elliott, and I adored the plot and their journey to finding each other.

It was such a fun read, and I just wanted more of these characters and their crazy schemes, their banter and their overall relationship. So much fun. And Bri? So so cute! I love books with little humans.

Also, I want the second book ASAP, because I want to know who egged Peyton’s car, and I want to see Dom and Chloe finally getting together.

SO, GUYS, READ THIS ONE AS SOON AS YOU CAN, BECAUSE IT’S SO WORTH IT.

The Hook-Up Experiment by Emma Hart is the first book in The Experiment series and OMGGGGGG it was hilarious. Ms. Hart continues to write the absolute best one liners and had me laughing out loud throughout the entire book. Every single time I go and pick up a Hart novel I think to myself how is she going to top the last book and every single time I’m blown away that she does.

“I wouldn’t fall in love. Unless you were sweatpants or a brand-new donut place, I wouldn’t fall in love with you.”

Peyton is one of my favorite heroines that Ms. Hart has ever written. She is brutally honest, stubborn, and has a wicked sense of humor. When she makes a bet with her brother she thinks she’ll be $500 richer at the end of two weeks. Little does she know that won’t be the case…

Elliot was the perfect hero. A single dad looking for simple hookups he figures what could go wrong. Well when Peyton walks into the restaurant and he sees her for the first time in ten years he knows he’s screwed. Literally.

I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved The Hook-Up Experiment! It was charming, witty, and the characters were amazing! Little Briony...that little girl was something else! I am so excited to read the next book in the series.

Peyton is independent, hard working, loyal, feisty and daring. When she loves someone, she loves them hard and when she has something to say, she isn’t scared to say it. I loved that we got to see Peyton vulnerable because in my eyes it made her more human and real. When Elliott strolls back into her life, she doesn’t know what to do because for the past 10 years she’s held a grudge and when she finds out that it was for nothing she gets freaked because she’s starting to have real feeling for him.

Elliott is a single dad who is just sexy. He puts his daughter first and hasn’t dated anyone in years. When Peyton comes back into his life, he doesn’t let this second chance slip by him. He knows he has his work cut out for him because Peyton is closed up like Fort Knox and he is dealing with turmoil too, but he knows Peyton in his and his daughter’s life is worth fighting for.

The passion between these two is off the charts hot and their connection started all the way back in high school and just took a few years off and started back up again but much more stronger!!! I loved seeing characters from the previous book and I cannot wait for the next book!!!

After reading Mellie’s book The Upside to Being Single I couldn’t wait for Peyton to get her very own book!! From the very first chapter this story had me laughing my butt off!! I was so happy to see some familiar faces! It was funny, sweet, frustrating, and oh so very sexy!! I really enjoyed it!!

Elliott and Peyton are brought back into each others lives in the most unconventional way. Their past should make it easier for them to stay away but they can't help how they feel. Things are about to get complicated.

Their banter cracked me up! There was that love / hate thing going on with Elliott and Peyton that I couldn't get enough of. I loved finding out more about them throughout reading..

Ms.Hart created such a great romcom! The humor, the heat, and the characters made for one fun read. She always puts the biggest smile on my face with her novels. I can't wait for Chloe's book The Dating Experiment!! (:

First off, I LOOOOOOVED the Upside To Being Single, and when I heard Peyton was going to have her story told next I just HAD to read it! And...IT. WAS. SO. MUCH. BETTER. THAN. I. EVER. COULD. OF. IMAGINED. So sexy, so laugh till it hurts funny, and so full of heart you will swoon, sniffle, and smile... this book was TRUE AMAZEBALLS!

I thought I laughed a lot in The Upside To Being Single, but I think I laughed longer and harder with The Hook-Up Expermint. It was too funny and so much HOTTER with all the Hate-screwing that was going on. Add in a sassy and sweet little girl and I was a goner for this book! And what started out as hate filled soon turned into love so powerful and all consuming, it left me breathless. I so enjoy a romantic comedy from Emma Hart and The Hook-Up Experiment will sure to win awards. Its hilarious, with fantastic banter, a irresistible plot and enchanting and entertaining characters.

The Queen of Romantic Comedy has done it again. She has given us such a brilliantly funny, yet emotional read with this story. She has brought so many of my favourite things together, Enemies to Lovers, Second Chances, Hot Single Dad. How can you not love and enjoy every single word.

I simply loved Peyton and her smart, sassy mouth! oh how she made me laugh with filter-less words, her ocd tendencies (she is more then welcome to clean my house anytime) and I am not sure how Emma thought up her job but she gets full marks for that one!

Elliott will make you swoon, your panties melt and your ovaries weep. I loved how he held his own with Peyton and well together the sparks were flying off my kindle with the red hot chemistry they
produced.

There is one scene at Peytons with Elliott, Chloe and Dom that had me in stitches and fighting the urge to get popcorn. I so can't wait for Chloe and Dom's book as I dread to think what Emma will come with for them.

Elliott is oftened surprised by his woman, “you own the hook-up website?” he finally said after a moment of staring at me like I had two heads." Peyton and Elliott are two of the most honest people that are perfect for each, neither hold their thoughts in check, "I rubbed my hand down my face. “You said *** a lot, and I’m not gonna lie, I’m turned the eff on right now.” Elliott isn't one for being told no, “Peyton, I’m going to kiss you. You’re going to let me, and you’re going to like it.” I wasn’t leaving any room for discussion— it was effing well happening." Sometimes Elliott just has to intervene his woman, “well, Peyt, it’s been thirty minutes. You don’t have to fold my pants while wearing your underwear.” I looked at the pile of laundry." I loved this book, Peyton and Elliott were just made for each other.

Okay, okay... How could you go wrong with a book about a girl who runs a company called Pick-A-Dick? Well, there is nothing wrong with The Hook Up Experiment. This book is one of my favorite Emma Hart books! I absolutely loved Petyon and Elliott, particularly Elliott! Plus, there is a kiddo and nobody does book kids like Hart!

There is a $500 bet and three hearts on the line in this fun rom com. Stubborn Peyton hates Elliott for what he did to her in high school. Elliott isn't a big Peyton fan either. When these two get hooked up unknowningly, sparks fly, swooning happens, panties melt and big old walls around hearts start coming down piece by piece.

A sexy, fun, slightly angsty rom com from Emma Hart! What else could you want?

Funny and full of heart, with plenty of swoony moments for my inner hopeless romantic.

Peyton embodied everything I love in a heroine: snark, sass, and independence. She was unapologetically herself, and I loved that she was true to those qualities throughout the book.

And then there was Elliott, the hot single dad with an angsty history with the heroine...*drools*. He added plenty of sexy and heartfelt moments to this story. I enjoyed the scenes where he wholeheartedly embraced the dad life and wasn’t the least bit sorry about it.

Although the timeline of this book wasn’t very long, I didn’t get the feeling of insta-love at all, which I very much appreciated. Peyton and Elliott’s relationship seemed very genuine and sweet to me, and I loved experiencing their evolution from supposedly random hook-up to something more.

This was a great introduction to Emma Hart. If you want a light read that still has plenty of feels, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Nothing like getting into a fight with your brother and then basically being dared to hook up 3 times with a guy and not fall in love. I own a hook up dating sight, this will be the easiest $500 I'll make off my brother. My brother owns a dating website and is such a romantic.

In order to help me out, I enlist my 2 best friends who will pick out the guy I have to hook up with. This just got easier. They go and pick the guy who left me stranded at my junior prom and then proceeded to make my life torture my senior year. This can't fail. Except, he's really hot. And, nothing is really as it seems, is it?

Emma is a wiz at writing strong funny female characters with equally charming strong alpha males that love to challenge each other. Throw in an adorable kid and it's a winner.

Emma Hart is the Queen of smart, sassy, and witty romantic comedy! The Hook-Up Experiment was an absolute gem of a read. This book had it all from charismatic characters, witty banter, and off the charts humor. And to top it off, it had the kind of romance that made you smile like a fool in love. Yes, I was that fool who fell in love with Hart’s writing and characters. How could I not when two frenemies discover that this is won’t be any hook-up especially when feelings begins to emerge. And as an added bonus, did I mention that the hero is a single daddy so yeah, prepare to swoon as this single dad has a daughter that can easily melt your heart. Peyton was great strong, independent, stubborn and a bit quirky. I met her and her crazy 2 BFFs in The Upside of Being Single and immediately loved them all!!!
Elliot I totally fell for him. A hot single dad Yep I was a goner. But the poor guy, Peyton hated him for 10 years. A 10 year unnecessary grudge! Or was it unnecessary? Young love may not have worked but adult love was perfect.
A thin line between love and hate. A sibling challenge, one simple truth about a 10 year old misunderstanding and an adorable 3 yr old can push you to the other side.
I loved watching her battle herself in a fight not to fall in love, it was supposed to be just sex.
Cannot wait for the next one!! Chloe and Dom already have me cracking up and dying to read it.

When you throw in the moments of steam and the moments of emotion, you have a novel that will not soon leave your mind.

Emma Hart is one of those authors that also writes some of my favourite novels. I urge everyone to go and read this favourite of mine today.

Omg Emma Hart and her naughty imagination. I loved the whole story line and the job that she has to top it off her enemy. Now don't get me wrong there is more than sex but when it comes to Emma Hart there is fireworks, lost love and hello passion. Right away you can tell Elliott is not well your typical submission in this book but the one that make you fall in love. One of the best books I have read cannot wait to see what she does with her brother.

Finished reading The Hook Experiment by Emma Hart , it can be read as a standalone but if you want to have the feels of the other characters in this story you should read the first one. The Upside To Being Single. I really enjoyed this book , it had so much humour and I love the banter between peyton and elliott . Their chemistry was point . But my fave character was briony . Just wait till you meet her and youll love her . A must read for sure.

This book was intelligent, sexy and absolutely hilarious. This was exactly what I needed during a rough time. It was fun and made me smile. The banter was great. The characters made me fall for them and want more of their story. I was definitely left wanting more. This was a great start to a new series and I can't wait to read the next book!

Once again I found myself fully entertained by this author who has a gift for writing funny page-turners that it's impossible for me to put down.

It's a book that makes you think - it makes you want to live every single second of every single day...all the while bringing great laughs to the table every now and then.

After meeting Peyton in The Upside to Being Single, I absolutely could NOT wait for her book. The Hook-Up Experiment was everything I thought it would be and more. I devoured this book in one sitting. It is full of the humor that only Emma Hart can deliver. The writing is amazing and the story just flows. The chemistry and banter between Peyton and Elliott is explosive and you could feel the sparks jumping off each page. I was completely captivated by these two amazing characters, and Briony simply stole my heart.

This book was intelligent, sexy and absolutely hilarious. This was exactly what I needed during a rough time. It was fun and made me smile. The banter was great. The characters made me fall for them and want more of their story. I was definitely left wanting more. This was a great start to a new series and I can't wait to read the next book!

Once again I found myself fully entertained by this author who has a gift for writing funny page-turners that it's impossible for me to put down.

It's a book that makes you think - it makes you want to live every single second of every single day...all the while bringing great laughs to the table every now and then.
