Texas Kissing

My favorite part of this book was the main female character 'Lily'...it's so nice to have a female character who's body type is not bikini size!! A real woman with real curves...we not only exist but also find true love!! Thank you for that. Always love Helena's character's personalities.
I also really enjoyed the exciting story-line.

Texas Kissing is really well written. I really like the Tessa/Lily character and the fact that she is such a strong female for all the history that she had. I could only dream of having a "Bull" of my own.

Loved it. Plot wasn't the most compelling or believable but the characters were awesome and the hero was absolutely adorable and funny. This book is perfect for a quick escape that will leave you feeling all warm & fuzzy

Texas Kissing was as sultry as you might think of Texas being. One moment there’s a breeze where we learn about Lily and that she’s off the radar hiding far from her family. Then the next moment it’s dry and hawt with Bull. Bull has all of the passion and storm. He just is and just does. Bull brings out a side of Lily that she didn’t even know she had buried in herself since she’s been on the run so long.

Lily was strong enough to stand alone, but it took Bull to teach her to be strong enough to depend on someone else. Plus there was the knee quaking sex that Bull kept Lily on her toes, sometimes literally, with. And while the book wasn’t all sex, it was on fire enough to keep Lily from retreating and running.

I enjoyed that the story gave a little nod to the characters from other stories that were completely unrelated. Lily’s internal conversations just made me like her even more. Lily and Bull were a perfect balance of sassy, sweet and on fire in Texas Kissing.

OK, I admit it. I am addicted to Helena's stories. Her books NEVER DISAPPOINT!!!!!
Her stories are original and when you are fortunate to read one you realize that the contents always surprise, excite, move, delight, entertain and keep you engaged until the very last page. This story was fantastic. Helena has a way of writing characters that just pop off the page and are “just real”. Bull and Lily were no exception. Lily is my kind of girl. Smart, witty, sexy and trouble. Bull, well he's trouble too, with an ego bigger than Texas. Superbly written and from the very beginning they were a matched pair. Their sexual attraction to each other was off the charts, and hot, hot, hot, and who doesn't like an Alpha Male like Bull especially when he takes charge. I also knew right from the opening pages that her unique talent for writing such humorous situations “laugh out loud” funny between Bull and lily was going to make this story an absolute must read!!!!!!!!!

Lily ran away from New York and is hiding in Texas from her uncle and his mob business. To protect herself from being found she has been living a reclusive life-style. In order to survive she works from home using her special talents illegally. While she is on her way to meet one of her clients she accidentally runs into Bull. Tall, sexy, and looking every inch the “Irresistible Cowboy”, he takes her breath away. The instant attraction is mutual and Bull insists that she meet him for a drink. Lily knows that she shouldn't meet or speak to anyone because it's just too dam dangerous to be around her and she doesn't want to get anyone killed in case New York finds her.

As much as she tries to fight her attraction to Bull and not see him, he won't give up and the chase is on. He knows that she is keeping secrets from him but her walls and guard slowly crumble down as Bull is determined to have her in his life.

The excitement continues to build with New York looking for Lily, her illegal business with her clients has unexpected situations and her dream of having a regular life with Bull. Oh, and how could I forget to mention that The FBI has also been looking for Lily. Action packed, hilariously funny and addicting. What a great read.

Another good book by Helena Newbury. It's funny how this book helped me see myself through my husband's eyes. He says "finally." LOL I've always been short and curvy, even when "skinny". I've read curvy girl stories before, but they just didn't impact me the way this one has. Thanks, Ms. Newbury, for an interesting story line and for opening my eyes to a physical beauty I should be happy with.

once again another great story that deserves more than 5 stars, Helena never disappoints. I loved the storyline between Bull and Lily, your city girl meets her cowboy with a few twists, I have read all the Kissing books now and enjoyed every one of them.

Amazing story just like all her books. The characters chemistry was sexy and serious. I like how the author has all her books entwined together with mentions of the characters from each one. Enjoyed how Bull slowly knocked down Lily's wall so she finally fell for him. Cannot wait for her next story.
