n this prequel we are introduced to 3 brothers Jameson, Forrest & Gunnar who have not had an easy life. We are also introduced to Asher, Jameson's best friend, and his sister Emma. They have led a privileged life.

Jameson & Asher have been best friends since they were in mid-school. Jameson & his brothers live with his grandmother, however, he is now responsible and taking care of his brothers. Trying to move around enough that the foster care system can never catch up with them to take them away from one another. Jameson drops out of school in the 9th grade to get a job and raise his brother's, vowing they will never be broken up.

Asher & Emma are from the rich / privilege's lifestyle. It's not their fault they were born into privilege. Asher & Jameson run a bar together. Must to the distain of his parents, who have never liked the brothers, and only say that Jameson is such a bad influence on their little boy.......

Emma has always been the younger sister. Who has always been off limits per Asher to any of his friends and to the brothers. They have always protected her, and thought of her as the little sister. However, Emma is now 24 and in law school, she's tired of being called off limits and protected as if she's a China Doll. Emma has only ever had eyes for Jameson. Jameson thinks he's an old man compared to her, as he is 10 yrs her senior, same age as her brother Asher.

In this book we are introduced to two unlikely friends. Jameson is dark and broody, Asher is a weathly preppy school kid. Jamerson saves him from bullies and they are best friends ever since. alos in the Prequel we are introduced to Jamesons younger brothers and Ashers younger sister. of coarse the younger sister is off limits to Jameson with her being his best friends little sister right. bjut that is what makes forbidden fruit books all the better. I loved how this book jumped us from past to future and we see how their friendship has lasted. we also are shown that Jameson doesn't like Ashers fiancé to much. Plus when you throw in alcohol and engagement party and two people who have nothing but bad timing you have the making of an amazing book.
I am not a huge fan of prequels because I feel like they always let you down but with this prequel by Vivian Wood it leaves you wanting to know what happens next. It makes you want to know what the author is going to through at you. I couldn't wait to read the next book because this short Prequel left me wanting.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BAD BEGINNINGS PREQUEL TO BAD BEHAVIOR" This was a great story telling you abut the background of the Jameson family his brother's Gunner and Forrest as well. You get to know about Emma and her brother Asher and their family as well. Emma has always had a crush on Jameson but her brother told Jameson that she was off limits to him but that's not how things are going to go which will cause some drama for them both in the next book Bad behavior this is one you should read first you will love all the characters and their story. I highly recommend to read this book so you will enjoy the next book because you will have the beginnings to the next amazing read I thoroughly enjoy Vivian Woods books she knows how to draw you in and keep you read till the very last page.

Doh what a brilliant prequel to a story. It tells so much.
Four young men...Asher and his friend Jameson plus jameson’s brothers Forest and Gunnar. Two families so different but childhood friendships forged. Jameson seems to take responsibility for his little brothers early on but although coming across as a bad boy, I think there is more to him than anyone realises. Even watching over friend Asher at school. Boys being boys, there are lots of girls but there is one Jameson has to stay away from.....Emma, Asher’s sister...oh dear.
A fantastic start getting to know them all and look forward to reading more in Bad Behaviour.

This book explains the relationship between the characters- Asher, Jameson, Forest, Gunnar & Asher’s sister Emma. As it’s free it’s worth the introduction however most of it does get repeated on the introduction of Bad Behaviour.
This appears to be something most authors are offering now to give you a taste of their writing style & an introduction to their books.

I enjoy reading prequels to stories to get their back history. In Bad Beginnings we have the set up for the Bad Behavior duet. We meet Asher and Emma Alderisi, who seem to have it all, evidently they are from the right side of the tracks. Enter Jameson, Asher's best friend and Emma's secret crush. But her brother has made it well known that she is off limits. We get to see the different family dynamics , how the friendships are made. I really became invested in the characters and the story. A perfect set up for Bad Behavior.

This is the backstory of three brothers and a best friend (although, Asher has me smh and questioning things already!) Basic groundwork for relationships/connections are layed out. Judging from this and past performances, I'd say buckle up buttercup we're in for a hot, sticky, sexy ride in the books to follow. I can't wait to hop onto this firebox and enjoy the ride. I'm already in lust with these bad boy, especially Jameson! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and am giving an honest review.

wow! total cliffhanger but its a free prequel and has totally allured me into wanting the actual story/book2. this book is exactly as the author titled it. shows glimpses of the past from all three POVs from the golden boy, best friend from the wrong side of the tracks so to speak, and the golden boy's sister who is to be out of limits. the pieces of history the author showed us in this prequel totally set the vibe in the personalities of all the characters. very well done

These prequals were a great snippet to get me all excited about what's to come. Jameson and his brothers sure are going to leave a mark and they all seem like they will have great stories to be told. Learning a little about their background and how they came to end up co-owning a bar together sets the scene nicely. Can't wait for their full stories to unfold. I received an ARC of this prequal and this is my honest review.

This book Bad Beginnings gives us the insight into Bad Behavior and who the characters are. The characters are well written sexy, fierce and some times hot headed. It tells how Jameson and Asher became best friends, what there friendship is like and what they are up to. The book draws your in leaving you wanting more so to see it end so suddenly makes you want Bad Behavior so badly to see what happens.

This prequel allows you to get to know characters from the series. It gives you a sneak peek of the first book! Jameson is best friends with Asher, even if Asher’s parents don’t approve. Jameson’s whole life is turned upside down when he’s called to office at school. How will that effect his friendship and life? Asher gets engaged and invites Asher. When he walks in at wrong moment, could whole friendship be gone?

Interesting! I appraise the brother’s best friend situation and even more intriguing Older Man interaction which puts a renewed curiosity for his past events. I couldn’t quite well distinguish between the two other brothers?? So, I’m not sure what the author’s follow-ups (books) might be?? I reckon a non-wedding for Asher lol

Great beginning to the Redemption Beach series. Asher and Jameson are best friends from opposite sides of life, and Jameson's brothers are introduced. Good setup for Asher's sister and Jameson to have an off-limits affair. Can't wait to see what will happen. Lots of drama in this prequel!!! I think I'm going to like Jameson.

Love this. It's an amazing start to the Redemption Beach series, and you're introduced to the characters in this, and in upcoming books, and it's a nice little appetizer of things to come in book one. Very good insight into who they are/were before.

Bad Beginnings is a short prequel to Bad Behavior. It does not have
To be read in order to read Bad Behavior, but it does give you a tremendous amount of background knowledge about all the characters so I highly recommend it.

This prequel introduces us to Asher and his sister Emma, and Asher's best friend Jameson, and Jameson's brothers Gunnar and Forest. It gives a bit of their history and starts to sets up the series. I found it a bit confusing trying to keep the characters straight and felt like I got to know about Jameson and Emma better. I am looking forward to reading the series and getting to know the characters better this prequel is a real tease!

I received an arc of this book and have voluntarily reviewed it.

Bad Beginnings is very short with three different points of view. While I enjoyed being introduced to Jameson, Asher and Emma I did not feel these chapters essential to read Bad Behavior. I felt like most of the information we learned in this prequel could have been incorporated into Bad Behavior

Bad Beginnings is a good introduction to the characters of Bad Behavior and following Redemption Beach books. You learn the backgrounds of the characters, how they met and the bonds of friendship and family that hold them together.
I rated 3 stars because I think it all could have been incorporated into Bad Bahavior.
