Review:A perfect little Christmas story from Lisa Wingate! A great story in this season of Miracles set in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. When a military widow seeks to run from the sadness of loss, she instead finds a reason to return to living. Read more
Review:I was excited to find this backstory after finishing LEVIATHAN WAKES. As I read through that book I found myself wanting more of a backstory on Fred, but having read this, I see that it really didn't fit the narrative.
If you liked LEVIATHAN WAKES, then THE BUTCHER OF ANDERSON STATION is worthwhile to read. But it was too short in my opinion. I really hope the authors consider expanding future installments. Read more
Review:In his typical style Kevin blends legend with our favorite Iron Druid. In this Grail story our hero faces the undead while on a mission from God. Well, one of them. I highly recommend this short as well as the rest of this series. Funny, dramatic and tremendously entertaining! Read more
Review:I love funny reads and I yearn to punch people in the throat constantly throughout my day so this seemed like a great quick fix for my morning commute but I feel like I want to ask for 20 minutes of my life back. The story telling is great but the content was boring and I found myself skimming through the chapters to skip to the "funny" parts. Read more
Review:The short story was good background information for loyal readers of the Shannara series. I finished reading this book in a couple of days. I look forward to reading a couple of the other books I haven't read yet. It was good to read a new book from Terry Brooks. Keep them coming!! Read more
Review:Had a lot of aha's like I'm pretty sure anyone would. It helps you understand the confusion the in flux of tech gave you against your will and gives ways to combat them. A toddler could apply this stuff. Read more

Review:This short Agatha Raisin mystery was a fun read for the holidays in true Agatha style. I like that she never changes making you say to yourself, "Oh, Agatha!" She's still a charmer and showed some of her often times hidden benevolent side which was nice for Christmas time. An enjoyable read. Read more
Review:Super quick read for me. I knocked it over in 10 minutes so I'm glad it was a freebie. Usual Tijan style. Well formatted and editing was reasonably tight.
I've got to be honest, I'm not a fan of Sam. I totally don't get the whole 'Poor Sam. She's so hard done by the world.' It's a little tired for me. She has the love and devotion of a strong circle of peeps. I figure she just needs to build a bridge and get over it.
This snippet felt like a lead in to Logan's story and I got a he'... Read more
Review:I absolutely adore Jodi Picoult and was ecstatic to find out she had a new book however this one left me wanting more. More explanation, more story, just more. I felt very unfulfilled after reading it. Perhaps if this was a short story to go along with a longer volume I'd eventually get my "fill" and rate this much higher. Read more
