Had a lot of aha's like I'm pretty sure anyone would. It helps you understand the confusion the in flux of tech gave you against your will and gives ways to combat them. A toddler could apply this stuff.

The simplicity and directness unlock a freedom for anyone applying them. It's a freedom in business, relationships, and lifestyle. Mr Warren has hacked away the unnecessary leaving only the essential.

Russell Brunson mentioned this book in his latest book Expert Secrets. This book is short and I was able to quickly read this book. However, do not mistake it's brevity for lacking information.

After trying to dig through other books in the sales and persuasion genres, the one sentence revealed in this book makes sense of the real persuasive triggers. In this revised edition, the revelation of a couple of two word strategies, one to effectively persuade others and the other is more commonly used but an ineffective strategy, makes this book priceless.

Buy the book and refer to it often, you won't be disappointed!

I love all his work. I bought his "Forbidden Persuasion" years ago. It was a wake-up call for me, showing me how my mind had been manipulated for years. It helped get me out of a dangerous cult. I love his "crooked wisdom." It's a reflection of how the world really is. A little dark maybe (without being dismal), but hey -- that's how it really is. I think he was the first authentic person I ever read on the internet, and I've been hooked on authenticity ever since.

This little gem was no exception. Absolutely loved it.

It is exactly what the author and other reviewers have said. It is very short. You can read the whole thing in 30 minutes or less. I remember it being good content that I agreed with, but I guess it did not make much of an impression, because I don't remember much else. Brevity is its greatest virtue.

A smart, well written little book! The "throwing rocks to the enemy" kept me busy because my work is about healing people mentally and emotionally, love-based relationships and living without judgment and criticism. So, dividing people in two groups or parts, is what I actually do not encourage or teach.

But I see, this point of uniting against the enemy; it is a very true concept, it comes down to knowing what you do not want in order to create what you do want. Not against something or someone. It's the feeling of support and understanding that most of us are looking for when we walk on the path of change. We seem to do better with separation instead of unity.

This was a "could not put it down" book for me. I did not spend energy reading it, I gained energy. Persuasion is one of the most powerful forces on the planet...yet there is something beyond persuasion, and Blaire opens the door to it. This is written in my favorite format..the short ebook. As
Einstein said" it is good to make things as simple as possible, but not too simple". Blaire, you've done it.
I believe in "do unto others, as you would be done unto". Chalk one up for the "done untos.

...if you are a student of human behaviour.
...if you want to transform yourself from common to extraordinary.
...if your core values are to be a balanced and positive influence in the lives of others.
...if you want a powerful insightful philosophy to help govern your leadership style.

Then this book is an investment.

When I spend money I expect more than a couple paragraphs. While the basic info is useful, I feel a bit taken advantage of. But I guess the lesson learned is write my own book of 20 words or less and make a ton of money with huge promises and hardly any details or practical examples.

I read this book in 20 minutes on the subway today... but it was still worth the $3.99 I paid.

Why?

Because the sentence referenced in the title is one hell of a sentence, and more than makes up for the fluffier parts of the book.

In fact, it's such a great sentence that I printed it out and taped it to my computer monitor, right next to Robert Cialdini's 6 Principle of Influence.

Read it, and in a micro-second you'll realize:

1) Why Donald Trump won the Republican nomination
2) How self-help gurus trick people into forking over thousands of dollars
3) The rationale behind just about every ad campaign in existence

If you're a student of influence/persuasion, start with Cialdni's Influence, and then get this. Best $16 you'll ever spend!

Complete waste of your time and money. You'd be better off finding the free version, printing it out, and then burning it before you read it. Then, just for good measure, scrub your hard drive with bleach and drive over your computer with tank.

This 'course', albeit short, is FULL of wisdom. As the author quotes Nietzsche, most books (their message) can be put into ONE paragraph. It's true. Apply the 80/20 rule and you'll find 80% of the 'message' is contained within 20% of the book. This books does it! Distills persuasion techniques into an actionable, memorable, idea. I recommend this book to everyone!

This is one of the most insightful passages I have read in a really long time. Its like the author says, the message is almost too simple to take seriously. But seriously it must be taken because truth is truth.

Whether you're a marketer or a business person or someone who would just like a little more information about how the world works, Blair Warren's wonderful book "The One Sentence Persuasion Course" is the book for you. Like Einstein's famous equation "E=mc2," a scientific formula that distills the nature of the universe to five letters and numbers, Mr. Warren distills the nature of persuasion to one sentence, 27 simple words. And the results can be just as explosive.

While there are other books on the market about persuasion and influence (such as Cialdini's "The Psychology of Persuasion), none match the timeless simplicity of "The One Sentence Persuasion Course." They also don't lend themselves to such easy and immediate implementation. Once you read the sentence and Mr. Warren's explanation, you're persuasive capabilities will take on a new form. A better form.

Mr. Warren's writing style lends itself to the topic as well. He's quick. He's bright. You'll get that. He's also easy to read. He's direct and to-the-point with his writing style. While you'll get through this small e-book in one sitting, you'll be practicing what you've read for the rest of your life ... if you're smart.

I give Mr. Warren and "The One Sentence Persuasion Course" my highest praise. It's a book I read at least once per year. I am highly confident that you'll do the same.

The book is very well written with clear examples. I wish it was longer, but what is there sure covers a lot of ground. An excellent read and now I have much to ponder and include into my marketing plans. Great fun!
