Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me (A Chelsea Handler Book/Borderline Amazing)

Loved the book. Love Chels. I get her humor and most people who know me understand why I would like her so much. the book gave a good realistic view of what it must be like to be her friend or co-worker. She loves ya, she will seriously mess with you.

Lies that Chelsea Handler Told me wasn't my first CH book I've read, but it was by far one of the funniest. Chelsea's co-workers and friends give a vivid description of what it's like to spend at day at her office or go on vacation with here. Chelsea sounds like two different people - one I'd be scared @#$%less of and one who is uncommonly generous and nice to people who are important to her. I've never worked for anyone like that, so I'm not sure what it would be like.

My favorite story from the book was a repeat from another book: Chelsea's request of one of her writers to write a comedy out of the Challenger crash. The poor baffoon spent her entire weekend (missing some important engagements) before she was told that it was all a joke. Apparently, that type of thing goes on all the time at the Chelsea Lately offices.

I loved the book because it reminded me of my pranks - like the time my office mate went on vacation and we moved all of his computer keyboard caps over one key to the left. Not being a touch typist, it provided days of fun until he figured out what was wrong. I also loved the book because it was similar to the stories in my new book, "Watching Grandma Circle the Drain." Good read that keeps the interest. The first few chapters were cry-out-loud-potty-dance funny, then they turned into Chelsea is mean essay's. Interesting enough to to see why she gets away with the bullying.

I read Are you There Vodka? It's Me Chelsea..............so needless to say I'm disappointed in this book. Some of the stories are ok, but I wish I would have just signed it out of the library instead of buying it. In fact, I haven't even finished it yet.

You are totally telling (living), the story of my life! Saying things that I always say, But then again I think sometinmes I AM funnier than you! I wish I could meet you and we could share sh*t! Would love to be on your writing staff for a week...Love the gang you work with, I could TOTALLY be friends with y'all!
