The first portion of the book detailing the law enforcement investigation is pretty interesting, after awhile the book goes into quoting some online postings, which is rarely a good thing to include in a great book.
I agree with another poster, the "threat" on page 3 to not let anyone else take a look at the book, and send it back to the author, is the nuttiest page I have seen in a book in a long time. Ticked me off early and so I was biased against the book before I got started...

Had to stop trying to find interest in this book. Eek, just not there, low on content. I kid you not, the entire first half of the ebook covered the young man's furst and only arrest and of that 3/4 was of his interrogation....bbbooorrrriii!! I dont think any true fan of True Crime is interested in lawmen tactics because they're stupid abd because we've such over and over and this one rated low low on interesting scale. I cannot believe Hunter actually thought this was a good read. Then he just ups and tells us Cody was charged with three additional murders with no details of the connection to Cody. And, it gets worse. Everyone who ever laid eyes on Cody or heard of him or even knew him must have had their opinions in the news and the reader gets this hearsay gossip from thus author, in book form, no doubt. This book - bad idea! Ha, ha, ha?

I really enjoyed reading book number six in the Crimes Canada series.JT Hunter held nothing back about the murders of Cody Legebokoff.
As we all know, serial killer's come from all walks of life and certainly Legebokoff proved it once again...With his country boy charm, good looks and his familie's good stature in the community he had it all.
But it wasn't enough to satisfy the deviant killer inside...Legebokoff could have chosen any profession but he chose to murder unsuspecting women instead.....
This serial killer may have gotten away with it if not for the intuition of RCMP Constable Aaron Kehler.Following his instincts he waited for Constable Kanwalprit Sidhu before pulling Legebokoff over. What started as a traffic stop became so much more after the body of fifteen year old Leslie Loren was discovered on the logging road that Legebokoff had driven out of..
It's a scary world when there's a lot more serial killer's that haven't been caught yet. They are also looking for their next victim. Will it be you?
Think about this, Canada doesn't have the death penalty so Legebokoff could be let out by the age of thirty. That's when serial killer's are in their prime.
For those of you who haven't ordered yet you're missing out.
Epic Fail :: Mara, Daughter of the Nile (Puffin Story Books) :: Kissed by an Angel; The Power of Love; Soulmates - Kissed by an Angel :: Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (Fudge series Book 1) :: Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses - A feel good Christmas romance novel

What a great book! I really enjoyed reading this story. It is one story I had never heard of so learning about the details made it very interesting; also the fact that Legebokoff is one of Canada’s youngest serial killers.

Reading this book makes you wonder if someone like Legebokoff was born that way. It is said he had a good childhood and upbringing; so what turns people like him into serial killers. How does someone so young become so brutal and cruel? You have to wonder if there isn’t some type of hidden abuse that made him so angry. It is sickening how he kept up a facade of being normal by having a girlfriend and working a regular job as well, showing kindness to friends and family. The way he beat his victims you would think he has a deep hatred for women and why? I feel such sadness for the victims and their families.

I found this book to be entertaining and informative. I was unaware of Cody prior to this book coming out. He had the look about him as an "average guy," but things drastically changed and he became a serial killer.

This. Book is well written and describes the methodical intentions of a cold blooded young man. What it failed to do was answer the question, "Why?". Of course, this is not due to the author's writing skills. This is due to any rational person's inability to under the workings of remorseless mind

This was a well-written account of Legebokoff, a budding serial killer who was stopped by a new RCMP officer who happened to be in the right place at the right time. From his ghastly crimes to his ridiculous defense, it's all here. Buy with confidence!

This book is very interesting and chilling. I found myself reading it aloud to my husband in one sitting. We want more from this writer. It causes alarms to go off in my mother's heart - watch out for who your kid's are talking to on Facebook etc. Not good reading for young teens.

JT Hunter did a fantastic job conveying the story of Cody Legebokoff. This well written book about one of Canada’s youngest serial killers is a must read for any true crime fan, and is a great addition to the Crimes Canada series.

Young adult making the name for himself goes for the extreme and gets caught in his own web of lies where evidence is the key that proves the truth of the victims killed by this murder that becomes Canada's top serial killer to be known at such a young age.

A well written account of a disturbed serial killer's crimes. I read this book in just two nights. Hunter does an excellent job of documenting these crimes and giving the reader background information on each of the victims and their lives. It's sad and scary to realize that this serial killer appeared to be the average "boy next door" to so many people, even his family and closest friends. Definitely worth reading!

Who would have guessed what this guy did. He just looked like the next door neighbor, and it was easy for him to take advantage. These girls lost their lives for somebody who didn't care about people.

Methinks most of these reviews are plants. The other books in these series have been more like pamphlets with big words, lots of blank space and few pages. Although this one has more pages, go to see what's inside and you will see what I am talking about.
