Son of the Mob (repackage)

The book was all right. I would recommend this book to people if you like mafia movies because the book was a good mafia book. Another thing I like was the characters it was three main characters: Vince, Kendra and the father named Anothony. Vince was more Like a fearless type of person. Kenra like a prep stuck up. And you have Anothony the killer that didn't care who he killet. I found these characters very interest and fun.

This book was probably the most interesting book i have ever read in school. This would be something i would go to the bookstore and get. Usually school books are about learning, but this was about gansters and killing. Sure it had its little love story on the side, but it was truely action packed, and keep you wanting to read more. Great book, and i recommend it to anyone who likes mob movies or action in general.

This was an entertaining, laugh-out-loud book! Max Casella was awesome as the reader, and his voices are very believable. I was swept into the interesting story immediately, and it never lost my attention. Korman created in-depth characters and a great plot with comedy, romance, and suspense!

My 12 year old daughter selected this from a summer reading list for her age group. She ended up telling me how uncomfortable it was to read about strip clubs and prostitutes being bought for friends. I just want parents to know it's not appropriate for 12 year old kids, before they have to explain things that shouldn't have to be explained to someone of this age.

I'm sure it's far more appropriate for the 16 and up readers.

I would recommed any person, kid or adult to read the book The Son of the Mob by Gordan Korman. It is like a Romeo and Juliet type book. Classic teen love book. Teens can relate to parts of this book.
