This was a great beginning to the Loves Improbable Possibility (LIP) series. It gives you enough insight and background on the characters introduced. The plot pulls you in and will have you purchasing book two soon as your all done book one. It's a great read.

Love Lost (Love's Improbable Possibility Book 1) was an excellent read. It had you coming back for more. It introduced you to the characters and made you love them to the point you wanted to know more about them. And I did!!!!! It had me hooked and I couldn't put the book down. Ms. Love Belvin is a great author and she will not disappoint.

After reading the first book in this series, I was nervous about reading the second. I will tell you why. This is not your ordinary romance. The lead female character has some historical issues she is dealing with and some of the tale makes me a bit ambivalent. The college process is a bit intriguing and I question someone jumping up and getting into Duke just like that. Otherwise, it was an interesting read. I thought she was a bit naïve. Listen, everyone knows a hustler especially if you have been in the streets. Could she have been that unknowing? I believe it is a good read, the lead male personality does draw you into his thinking and mindset. BUY IT, it still is a must read. For the price I have read lot worse on Kindle.
Love Lost to the Long Goodbye of Alzheimer's - Jan's Story :: Lost Love (Cowboys and Angels) (Volume 1) :: Love Profound (Cowboys and Angels Book 2) :: Dr. Bones and the Lost Love Letter (Magic of Cornwall Book 2) :: Tempting Love (Cowboys and Angels Book 3)

Great book !! When I began reading the sample before purchasing it I was like what is this about? I didn't care for the way some of the people spoke, but the more I read the more interesting it became so I purchased it and then I purchased book 2. Needless to say I'm getting ready for book 3. The books are not short by the way which is a plus. Good job!!!

Ok Love Belvin is one my newest favorite authors. Her writing is awesome and I'm going to keep reading these books thanks to my niece and sister in law Whoop Whoop. The romance and familiar environmental feel is good to read about.

If you are into drama and romance novels, this is a must read. It is very entertaining. I do have one question for the Author, what the hell is up with the "molar" comments? I really like the authors style and the book is a page turner and it will not disappoint!!!!! I plan to read the whole series

From the beginning of this book/series, I was hooked. I liked the fact that the author showed the life of Rayna, how she became the woman that she turned out to be, from her teenage years and the struggles she endured to her determination to rise from her struggles. This whole series keeps the reader enthralled from beginning to end! Azmir is the ULTIMATE Alpha Male!!

The introduction of Azmir and Rayna love. The depth and complexity of the two lovers are rarely found in many books. Though it ended with a cliffhanger and is not standalone, you are satisfied with reading the beginning of this couple's love affair.

This is a tale of two tortured souls finding each other at the right time. The author does a wonderful job at keeping you in their world while you learn lessons of love and trust. Best part...there's more to it...on to book 2! Yay!!

This is my first book by this author. The writing is really good, storyline is great but I'm not sure I like the female character she is weak which is taking away from me loving the book. Worth reading

I discovered Love Belvin's books a few months ago. I love series books and hers do not disappoint. I read her books out of order so Azmir and Rayna's names kept popping up so I wanted to know more and discovered that they were her 1st series. This book is a good foundation.

Book Review: Love Lost by: Love Belvin
I am not one that appreciates the art of foul language or reading sexually explicit scenes to detail. Which this book definitely has a lot of. The content of the book involves foul language, sex, drugs, and violence. So right off the bat I will honestly say I do not recommend this book to the youth or anyone who doesn't appreciate foul language, book porn, and crime.
I will admit though, that I was glad I decided to look past those factors and read the entire book. This book reminded me of a good life lesson. Which is if you give something a try that you normally wouldn't accept or do, you will never know what you'll find. Might be even love or a positive life changing experience. By the end of the book I was sad it was over. The ending leaves you hanging and wanting more. There is a continuation of the book and I am anticipating the read.
All in all this book, "Love Lost" is very well written. Many of the characters of the book revolve around the ghetto, the hood, or projects and the dialogue and writing style flows perfectly with the theme and life style. I was able to feel the love growing between the characters and the pain they endured.
Simply a great story of love and trust lost which slowly rebuilds. The story is also about the main characters starting from humble beginnings and growing into success. It's a real life story kind of book. The book is worth the read and you will end up wanting to read the book that follows.

Rayna and Azmir both had some rough childhoods! They have a lot in uncommon. I know Rayna is used to taking care of herself but it doesn't hurt to let someone else take care of you! Azmir has a lot of secrets too, so he needs to open up more!

I won this book in a contest giveaway and judging from the synopsis I knew this would be a good read.
Rayna, the main character, grew up in projects of an inner-city. Her father abandoned her, her two siblings, and her mother who turned to crack. Needless to say, Rayna's life was not so good growing up in the "hood". Although she was a good student in school and played a sport, she met and got involved with a bad boy type named "O". Like many young girls, she was blinded by the fact that he was a bad boy and would continue to see him regardless of what he did. Then tragedy struck while she was away visiting a college. She realized after returning home to the mess that she had to get out and start a new life even if it meant leaving her loved ones behind. "O" although he was not a part of what she had dreamt anymore gave her another reason and the means (indirectly) to get away. Her new life would mean lots of changes about herself would have to take place...she had to learn how to adjust to her new surroundings.
Rayna made her move, started college and began to start her new life. Michelle, the girl she met on her first visit to the college would become her best friend. I have to admit there was a part in the story, where Rayna was going to fight what was supposed to be her best friend Michelle's fight that gave me a good chuckle... I just couldn't picture that whole scene going down like that (you'll have to read what I'm referring to in chp 2).
After graduating college, Rayna would further her life changes by making another move to California with her best friend Michelle. She would further her education and be at the top of her class by graduation (good look for a girl coming from the projects). She got a good job and through the midst of it all met the character Azmir. Azmir is a handsome businessman, professionally and streetwise, who is also making some life changes, and it seems Rayna will be included.
Overall, although to me this was a slow-paced read that eventually caught me by the end, it was a good read... Now it's on to the sequel "Love Unexpected" to see how Rayna and Azmir's relationship turns out.

Wow! I really enjoyed this... The battles with love faces here from family to personal rang true in everyday life. Love Belvin didn't make this story unbelievable by giving scenarios that could never be true. She delivered her story quite well & the development of her characters throughout the book was amazing. This is most definitely a must read. I'm on to part two now to continue this journey of love....

Being a woman is hard. Especially the way trust issues are set up. However when a real man chooses to take the time to love you you open up to him. You deserve to be love was such an eloquent phrase thats going to continue to reasonate with me.

Rayna and AD, wow this was a complicated and intricate relationship. It took a minute for AD to grow on me with his mysterious and Alpha male ways. Rayna was so needed that she made me want to scream. Overall this was a meticulously told story...

I really enjoyed reading this book. I love the friendship Rayna and Michelle have. Azmir is a good guy whose trying his best to be there for a broken Rayna. The guys who gave Rayna and Michelle the date rape drug needs to be castrated. Sebastian was a prick. This book five stars are well earned. Great Job Love Belvin

Lord knows this lady can write. I love that there's a build up. Unlike regular love stories, we're getting to know these characters really well before really getting into the story. Can't wait to get into the next story
