This story deals with the feelings of a young woman who doesn't 'fit the mold'. In society she is a curvy, a little heavier, & it sometimes causes her self-confidence to waver. Peaches is whimsical, runs a bookstore, has special friends & a family...then she meets Dalton, a handsome actor. She questions his interest in her, but likes his quirky side. They begin a relationship of sorts & she wonders if she should trust, believe, or cast it all aside. Can they make it work???

Peaches, WHAT A HOOT! Although this book has some serious heat going on, it's not raunchy. I love the way she describes body parts and her feelings she has and gets, you don't feel like your reading something erotic. I found myself laughing out loud more than once at the most inopportune times...like at work or when trying to hide under my covers and woke up my husband. Oops. I could go on and on and on but I have to start on Peaches next adventue

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Peaches. She was so lovably imperfect. I loved how realistic Mimi Strong's characters were. Her humor reminded me of The Princess Bride. So why did I rate this a 3 Star? The ending. This wasn't just any cliff hanger. When you pick up a romance novel, you are expecting a HEA, or at least a Happily Ever For Now. There is a difference between creating a series and manipulating people into spending more money to finish a story. I'm not a huge fan of series but I have been sucked into a few (Sookie Stackhouse, Beautiful Creatures..) I totally would have bought the next in the series if this book hadn't ended right at the peak of the conflict. Have faith in your writing.

This story is so incredible! Peaches has got to be the funnest, craziest, most awesome character I've ever read! I could go anywhere with her; to the grocery store, to the laundromat or the 7-11! I could just imagine having conversations with her about everything. Mimi Strong has written a character for the ages! I'll always remember Peaches, and I absolutely, positively cannot wait until Mimi puts out her next book! Keep 'em coming, Mimi! Keep 'em coming!

Peaches is just a regular person, (my size!) and ends up with the funniest craziest encounters...not to mention really hot erotic sex! Don't read if this bothers you, but many laugh out loud moments!

Maybe I should have read the description better.... did not know the sex was all the time and talked about like they were 13 year old boys in a bathroom. Also did not know it would be a cliff hanger. I was just wanting to finish it to find out what happened. I did not think it was funny at all, gross several times, and I felt bad for Peaches. At this point, I don't care what happens, still trying to get some of the sex phrases out of my head. Disgusting

I bought this book after it was compared to Alice Clayton's Wallbanger, which I love and adore. That was a bit of a stretch, but it was still a funny and a somewhat light read. I did laugh out loud a lot, but the creative genital names got on my nerves about half way through the book. What I did really like was that the book gained momentum and flowed until the very last page. It definitely ended on a strong note! I am looking forward to reading more about Dalton and Peaches.

I totally loved this book. Peaches is a thick woman and I LOVE that the author shows that you don't have to be 110 lbs to be desirable. Peaches also has confidence which is a trait that's makes her an amazing character. Her confidence and her lack of a brain to mouth filter make her such a strong woman. The one-liners in the books make me laugh out loud!!! Definitely recommend and recommend starlight too.

A quick and comical read. I should have known the ending would be a cliff hanger, especially since we don't know Peaches secret yet. I had to buy the next book. I have to know if Daulton is putting on an act of if he's the real deal.

The book just ... stops.

Finishing this book was a chore. It dragged on with little to no plot line. The main character,Peaches, was annoying with her low self esteem, strange sarcasm, and food related vocabulary during intimacy. Based on other reviews, this was not what I expected. I cannot recommend this book.

I started reading this from another book collection (Billinaire Series) and when the book ended, I had to finish reading Peaches Monore's story!! Mimi Strong left me hanging!! I am currently on her second book; Starlight and this has as many surprises as the first!.

Four Fabulously Funny Stars!! Loved Peaches! I loved her snarky attitude, quick wit, sharp tongue, and humorous comments throughout. I enjoyed this lighthearted funny read immensely and am anxious to read more about Peaches Monroe, underwear model extraordinare, and Dalton, steamy heartbreaker. Surely, there is a good explanation for his behavior, which left me wanting to kick his a**.

I am conflicted because although Petra has suffered because of her weight she seems to she
that as an excuse to bed hop having sex with a different guy within 24 hours time. Peaches or Petra is a Slut.

This was hilarious and entertaining. I am a sucker for a witty, funny heroine and that is our girl in this love story gone awry. The characters were lovable to say the least and I couldn't wait to read more after the unexpected ending that left me just completed bewildered. If you like to laugh and have an open mind about sexual innuendos then read away!

Some of the heroine's comments made me laugh aloud, but her childish behavior became grating. Perhaps it's because she's a young adult and I'm not and have lost my tolerance for rampant immaturity. One thing that is annoying is having a heroine labeled intelligent, but acting with idiocy. And the hero ... well, I cannot imagine any selfrespecting man not at least being angry with the heroine's behavior.

Such a fun & enjoyable read. I work in retail & its Christmas time so I need something to look forward to relaxing with at the end of the day & this book just takes me away from all the crazy. Laugh out loud funny, sexy, great characters, good story line..... a book most anybody looking to escape "life" for a little while will enjoy!!

This book was much more than I expected...several "laugh out loud" moments, lots of snickers & steamy love scenes, plus a very relatable heroine made this a win for me. That being said, I was unprepared for the fact that this was a "part 1" situation & that was frustrating. I do recommend checking out the author's Facebook & blog--she has nice teasers & updates for the next Peaches book. (And she's funny on her own!)

Sassy, sarcastic, quick witted, and hilarious. This has had me laughing from the start. Romance and hot action. Peaches is raw. Not the type of person you see everyday but there should be more open and honest people like her. Dalton is a green eyed who brings her to another level and out of her comfort zone. Great read.

Totally love Peahces, she's hilarious an rocks her plus size body!! This book was free for me to read an one of the best books I've read in awhile. If you want a funny romantic read check this series out, you will not be disappointed!! I absolutely love Peaches Monroe! She is funny and quirky. And Dalton Deangelo is one hot and sexy alpha male. They make up an odd couple that fit together very well. This book was a fast, sweet, and sexy read. This is the first book that I have read by Mimi Strong and I can say that I will be reading more from her.

The main characters are in their early to mid 20s. I found myself counting how many cutesy ways you can refer to genitalia. The story was interesting...curvaceous, feisty female falls for gorgeous guy. This guy is hot, special, and comes with a secret set of baggage. Is it all too much for the heroine?

the summary is everything and more. Hilarious, hot, fabulous read! In my newly recent start to reviewing books, I will say it again, I have a thing where I am greedy towards the characters futures and I would have died for more. But I am more than in love with this book! read the entire Trilogy! you won't regret one second!

Peaches Monroe is a real funny character. I have never laughed so much reading a book in my life. Dalton & Peaches seemed to be a wonderful Love story. But to find out if Dalton was only using her for research per his movie script. At least I'll get to enjoy a lot of laughs, therefore I will be buying the complete Peaches Monroe series.

Amazing! Mimi writes a light hearted, entertaining, hilarious book. I just loved it. Although this book has a very light hearted feel to it, there are snippets of something deeper there and I can't wait to read the next one...so I go. One-clicking it NOW!

What to say about this book......it is written with a fun, and sarcastic tone. The main character is a "regular girl" as they call her on several occasion's, but a strong self assured girl! I love that she knows who she is, and even though sometimes she is unsure of who, or what she wants, I liked that it she always saw things in a humorous light! Great characters, and great story!! Can't wait to read the next book!!

My 1st book by this author and was not disappointed!!!! I read this book without wanting to put it down.. I was laughing out loud throughout the entire book and loved the steamy scenes....each and every one!!! Peaches is my hero and I'm in love with Dalton. So glad I decided to try this book. Now, it's going to suck waiting for book 2 but I have no choice. I definitely recommend u will not be sorry!!!

I'd previously read other books with a similar premise as this one, but what really sets this book apart is the witty dialogue and great characters throughout the book. Peaches is a curvy girl who is very easy to relate too, not to mention funny! Dalton is absolutely charming. I liked that he considered her fun and exciting, even though she considered herself "not fun" in relation to her friends. The one downside I found with this book is that it does have a pretty big cliff-hanger ending, which was a little disappointing.

I wish the store had a half-star option, because this was really a 4.5 star book! Yes, there were hot scenes, but the sex didn't overwhelm the story. Mostly, this was just a hilarious tale of girl meets boy, then tries to figure out what to do with him. I've already bought the second book in the series and can't to see what happens next! Love love LOVE Peaches!

Hated the ending. The book just kept going and going. There were little inuendos that made you think one thing was going to happen or evolve and it never did, leaving you hanging. The ending was horrible. I guess it's a series of books? Still the ending wasn't good.

You have to read this book! Its funny and romantic. I seriously laughed so hard that I cried. Peaches gets into so much that its complete train wreck that you want to be on! Dalton is just as funny... All I can say GO READ THIS BOOK NOW, you are missing out if you don't!

I loved the character Peaches! A leading woman with confidence, humor, not a size 0, and with a good head on her shoulders. Dalton is such a great partner for her... and the romance was off the charts sexy.
I don't want to give any spoilers away but the cliff hanger was a good one. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Juvenile, unrealistic and full of cringeworthy analogies of the human body. Sadly I have zero interest in reading the three part series after painfully trudging my way through the first, just not my cup of tea.

Peaches is a little over weight and is attracted to an actor that is filming. They have a great few weeks but someone is out to ruin it. She gets to model lingerie and when arrives at his house she finds out he has been living a script with her. Will she find out it is the truth or a lie

I liked how they meet in the bookstore strictly fate based and that she was so willing to just take a chance, I think it was sweet and romantic even if his lines were downright cheesy. Although who doesn't like cheese. I will read the next one, because they are not stand alone stories and you really need to read the series.

I'm anxious as crap to find out Peaches secret.....surely can't be worse that Daltons! So pissed when the book ended!!!!!! Can't wait for the rest of their story!!!!!!!!
