Besides the fact that literature-wise these books are amazing, the lovely box which contains them filled with quotes and doodles makes it even more special! Kudos to the nerdfighter who designed it!

I loved these books. especially paper towns bc that is my life. I'm nothing but paper and broken. if anyone feels this way then maybe we should build a town for the paper people. Let's rebuild Aglow, ny. Who's with me? Email me at [email protected] and we will rebuild what is ours to keep. A town for paper people who want to be real.

Because of some trouble with the local customs, so it took my books a couple of months to get here. But it was SO WORTH IT. The box is really pretty and the books are amazing. This will make your life better.

When I love a book, I want to own a physical copy. Having read all of Green's books as e-books, I couldn't pass up this chance for a signed box set. One of the best writers working today, in my opinion. His work transcends genre (YA) and is just great fiction.

I read all these books on my kindle but I loved them so much that I decided to buy them all. I saw this on the store and jumped on the opportunity to have 2 signed copies of his works! AND I GOT A HANKLERFISH TFIOS!! This has made my year.

I have read all of John Green's books and gave all of them (with the exception of Will Grayson, Will Grayson) to a friend so that I could have an excuse to purchase this set.

Hint to all Nerdfighters: Take the dust jackets off and look at the books without them. You can thank me later :)

I got this set of books and, while there was nothing wrong with the product itself, none of the books were autographed. And that's really the only reason why it makes any sense to pay that much money for four books, so buyer beware.

Both The Fault In Our Stars and Looking for Alaska were signed. The box set is nice and sturdy. I've already read all the books, tfios prior to buying. John Green is an amazing author!

I think all the people not getting autographed copies are maybe buying from the wrong seller? Make sure you choose the right seller, if you go to "buy new/used" from someone else for cheaper they aren't signed.

I got the book today, It's a gift for my daughter. It took the store 5 days to ship to vpost address in oregon, then from vpost to singapore around a week. It,s worth the wait.
I had to open and remove the plastic wrap on the books to see if it was signed, and 2 of the books were signed! My daughter will be very happy!

The Fault In Our Stars was meant to be autographed, it says so even on the cover yet my copy wasn't autographed. The only autographed novel in the box set was Looking For Alaska. Of course, the novels are wonderful but if you already had the books and bought this set mostly because they were autographed, don't get your hopes up.

I preordered one, and thus received autographed copies of FIOS and L4A. SO EXCITING! JOHN GREEN TOUCHED THOSE PAGES, WHAT?! Definitely nerded out. Hard. This would be a great gift, autographed or not, for an nerdfighters or potential nerdfighter-converts in your life. READ ALL THE THINGS! <3

Upon reading the reviews for this boxed set, I had read that some people did not receive the books with John Green's signatures inside. But, when I tore through the package and opened up the set I was very pleased to find that I had received what was advertised. Both copies of Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars were indeed signed by the author.
Also, as a small bonus, in my copy of TFiOS, Hank Green (The other half of the VlogBrothers) had drawn a small doodle below John's signature. (A Hanklerfish for those NerdFighters out there. Which is only in 5% of the signed First Editions!)

My daughter worships John (and Hank) Green and was dissappointed that none of the books were signed. She read John's post where he said that he could not guarantee that all would be signed (he was clear about that). But she is dissapointed. She LOVES owning books. I sent a request for a replacement and we hope one is signed (fingers crossed).

I ordered the box set for my wife even though she already has a signed and Hanklerfished copy of "The Fault in our Stars". We expected all books in the set to be signed, well only "The Fault in our Stars", and "looking for alaska" are signed in the set we received. If you look under the jackets on Paper Towns, An Abundance of Katherines, and looking for alaska the J Scribble signature of John Green is pressed into the book. I am sure my wife will enjoy the books regardless but it is a slight let down that not all books are signed.

I am so happy I finally got this, I love all of John Green's books. But I am wondering if all of the books are supposed to be signed? Only two of the books in mine were signed, TFiOS and Looking for Alaska. Were all of them supposed to be signed, or just one, because the only one that had a "signed copy" sticker on it was The Fault in Our Stars.

I fell in love with the fault in our stars. It was such a touching story and so beautifully written that I figured that I would love John Greens other books. This was not the case. The main character of An Abundance of Katherines was so annoying it was extremely hard for me to finish the book. While the other two were not as awful I definitely would not say that I liked them and I would definitely not reccomend them.

To our disappointment the Autographed John Green Boxed Set purchased did not have the author's signature. This was quite a let down as it was the number one item on a Christmans list. We did not know until the package was opened that what we ordered and paid for was not supplied.

I love reading John Green. I read Looking for Alaska on a whim before there was any movie hype for Fault in Our Stars and loved it. I bought a copy for my high school classroom library. I read Abundance of Katherines next. Bought a copy for my library. By then, my Alaska was gone. Enter Fault in Our Stars, which I picked out because of the Julius Caesar reference in the title. Another hit. Then the movie came out, and even the students I wasn't recommending Green to directly came looking. I bought all Green's books, since my second Alaska and the original Katherines were gone. In fact, I am always looking for John Green books at a reasonable price, because they unfailingly disappear from my classroom library. I have gone through at least five sets over the last three years. Most recently my Will Grayson, Will Grayson went missing. While I do (of course) wish my students would return them, I willingly replace them from time to time. (The boys especially love Looking for Alaska.) The point is that John Green's novels repeatedly enchant even the most reluctant high school readers. I have dozens of students for whom Green's novels have been the gateway to the joys of reading. I recommend them all the time...and sometimes I even get them back. :)

At first, I wasn’t all that interested in reading The Fault in Our Stars. I saw the trailer for the movie and wanted to see it. But I decided that I should read the book first. And soon after I started to read it, I found that this was going to be an excellent book to read. The book first introduces Hazel Grace, a teenager. When someone thinks of a teenager, they think of someone going to high school and texting all the time and doing nothing but hanging out with friends. But not Hazel. Hazel is a witty character that attends high school and doesn’t have that many friends. But that’s just what I love about her character. She isn’t your stereotypical teenager. She attends college and doesn’t panic or whine if she doesn’t have her cell phone for a day. And she hangs out with her parents more than any teenager ever would. Later in the story, she meets Augustus Waters, another teenager but also a very different one. He is also a very smart character and when the two have a conversation it’s usually just a bunch of witty comments and snappy comebacks. I found this to be hilarious at times and loved it. It made the story feel a lot lighter and happier and really helped the characters too. The best thing about this book is that it isn’t like an episode of any TV shows that represents high school and the student’s lives. Instead, it shows us what teens can really be like and also shows them enjoying life without the regular use of technology. All in all, it was an amazing book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of reading it, or to anyone not thinking of reading it.

Wow! I got this box set for Xmas. I haven't read a fiction novel since High School (that would more than 10 years ago ;) ) but am glad to say that John Green has gotten me back in the game. I saw the film version of Fault in Our Stars before reading the book and was blown away at how closely the two match (which may actually be a negative for some people). I just started Looking for Alaska and for both books, I have to say, Green is amazing at writing engaging characters and emotional story lines. My boyfriend thinks that Fault in Our Stars "cheated" by playing the cancer card to illicit emotion; he clearly has no idea what he's talking about. One small thing I wanted to note, though, was that Green makes so many pop culture references in Fault in Our Stars. I wonder if this means the book may "age" as well as classics from previous eras. Guess time will tell!

John Green is pretty awesome and I loved all four books. On the downside none were signed disappointed about that. On the plus side,I've had the box set (hardcover) for almost a year now and I'm satisfied with the quality of the actual box, seems to be holding up alright.

Update. The box is on my shelf and seems to be tearing on its own

My daughters each purchased a set of these and one set was not signed, so be aware of this. When it was brought to the author's attention he said they were not guaranteed to be signed and the only way to get it signed was to meet him in person. Very disappointed. Great books to read, though!

I'm not really a collector of Green's books, but I wanted this set specifically because of the good novels that are included. This came in as a gift from a dear friend. The set came in perfect condition, not autographed(not a single book, lol) but like I said, it's not a big deal for me. I'm happy with this set, it was carefully packaged, covers, dustjackets and pages are in perfect condition. :D YAY. :D

And to edit:

IT WAS SIGNED! (Except for TFIOS) lol. I didn't realize it would be engraved on the covers. Heehee.

It's a beautiful box set, and the signed books are definitely awesome, but there was a tear on the bottom of my box and a couple of scuff marks for me - a bit disappointing, it caused me to subtract a star, but the books are still awesome.

Books themselves are great (obviously, motha flippin JOHN GREEN) and I'm sure my friend, who is about to receive this as a present, will get a mini heart attack second he sees the books.
This is amazing!

They said that both Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars are signed by John Green . But upon receiving the books , Only Looking for Alaska was signed but not The Fault in Our Stars which left me quite upset and disappointed .. But overall it was in good condition except for some stains here and there .

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. We were both disappointed that the books were not signed as there was nothing in the description to say that they might not be. We understood that the boxed sets were signed from all the advertising the set had received. Otherwise she is delighted with the books. I also bought her Will Grayson, Will Grayson, so she is really happy.

This box set was given to me by my dad (the owner of this account, Gary) for Christmas. IT IS AMAZING. I knew it would be because anything that has John Green's name on it HAS to be good, but nothing is damaged and the books that are supposed to be signed are signed. Everything looks fantastic. I love this book set so much! Definitely a good buy! The only thing is that my dad bought this set when it was $74 and now it's down to $40, but all in all it was a good purchase. A must for any nerdfighter! DFTBA!!(:

Like someone else stated before, I already own all of these books but now this will be MY set that I don't lend out, while I can lend the others without being worried about not getting them back. The books are amazing, the box is absolutely beautiful, I love that TFIOS and Alaska are signed and I highly recommend people purchase this. You won't regret it at all! DFTBA :)

I am a huge fan of John Green and his work with DFTBA, and Nerdfighteria. Having followd him on youtube, twitter and Facebook I got interested in his books, and when the chance presented it self to get all his books in a Limited Edition Box Set I was sold at an instant.
These books are great and I would recommend that everyone should read at one point in their lives.
