Forbidden Island

I've read many of Robinson's adventure novels, but this was just not appealing ... frankly, it was boring. Even though the writing is good, there are too many repetitive scenes. I found myself disliking it the further I read. Frankly, I found it disgusting with the needless nudity scenes. Sorry.

Forbidden Island is another fantastic read from Jeremy Robinson! Its pne of those books that really makes you think. Is what they are seeing and experiencing real? Even by the end of the book, its hard to tell. But I loved every page of it!

This is another fantastic thrill ride by Robinson. I love how the action continues amongst the mysterious moments of this book. Once the characters figure out where they really are, there are no indications of what is real & what isn’t. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Downloaded the book by mistake. Glad I did!' Was a bit long winded but I enjoyed the travel through the characters minds. Excellent twist with the garden. Love that kind of fantasy, or is it fantasy! 5 stars and look forward to my next mistake.

Jeremy Robinson never ceases to amaze. No matter what genre he jumps into, he conquers it... And with Forbidden Island he's done it again! Your book shelf should be filled with his books so you can tell people you were a fan before he was a household name.

What a wild strange ride! Love Robinson`s books, but sometimes they scare the bejesus out of me.. his mind must be a fascinating journey all on it's own.
Very good book, action, twists and turns.

Strange. I liked the start, but later it got bizarre, and difficult to follow. What were the children, adults, and creature? Were the island inhabitants angels, devils, deformed humans or aliens? What was the purpose of the smoke? Were the inhabitants real or imagined? I don't know. Read it and decide for yourself.

I was pleasantly surprised by this story, don’t want to give anything away but keep reading. It seems to be an average adventure but then without warning the author takes a very dark turn so give this book a chance.

While this novel feels quite a bit different from his other work, it’s a worthwhile read. Rather than jumping into a moving car at 60mph, as with many of his stories, Mr. Robinson takes his time with the characters to build to a satisfying crescendo.

I was looking for a fun adventure story with jungles, lost tribes, and dark mysteries and this story did not disappoint. This is the first book I have read by Jeremy Robinson and I am excited to read more. I have to say the characters, good and bad, we're unique and interesting. A truly thrilling tale that feels fresh and new even as you can see the familiar storytelling roots. A modern take on Lovecraft and Howard.

This book has it all! Drama, fear, adventure, and even a bit of sex! It was a crazy thought provoking page turner, and very hard to put down. ( Almost late to Dr appointment!)
Can't wait to read more of this author!!!

What else would you expect from Mr Robinson. The book is strange but it leaves a lot to the imagination and would make a great water cooler or book club read. Jeremy knows his stuff and more importantly he knows what his readers want to read.
