I have read just about everything Jeremy Robinson has put out and this novel just may be one of his best yet. He combines the horror of the Apocalypse with actual human emotions. Abraham is front and center in this book and it revolves around him and his family which is quite different for this author. The Machine has just about wiped out humanity when Abraham and his family discover the secret to the machine. I will not ruin this for anyone but just to let everyone know, this a great novel. Buy it!

Another Fantastic Read!! His writing Is ALWAYs a page turner and probably the best 'capture me on the first chapter' writing out there! If I had to choose just one Author's work to take to a desert island it would be His!!!! Hopefully it wouldn't be Island 731!!! Another great read . ;)

This is a well written story full of characters you will come to care about deeply. The dialog is convincing, the characters quite human and action well described. Hats off to a job well done, Jeremy.

The book was breath taking from the beginning. I found besides having a great time reading this book I also got a good glimpse at the awareness we should have with our present world. Keep the books coming!

This book is written by Jeremy Robinson, so you know it's going to be good. It's non-stop action, excellent characters, and a world you just have to experience to believe.
Anyone who likes action, sci-fi, fast moving stories, will love this.
Do yourself a favor, buy this book!

Not best of Jeremy Robinson. There was enough material for several books but for whatever reason it was all packed in one. The first half is very exiting but as the scenes are rushed through I lost the interest after that.

Most fiction requires suspension of disbelief. This one requires suspension of brain activity. It would make a decent comic book (oops-graphic novel) for junior high school kids but not much more. The author's good imagination and writing style were misdirected on this from the very premise (a huge, environmentally-conscious machine that destroys the world every few million years in order to save the world) to a curiously misplaced polygamous marriage, all the main players in the first scene surviving to reunite happily at the end in order to start a new civilization. Ugh.

Apocolypse Machine is an amazing thrill ride and rollar coaster of emotions. It has action, fear, love, death, destruction, and of course... Kaiju! The Machine, responsible for the mass extinctions of earth with the ability to change the world, is the most unique monster i've ever seen. And the biggest. This bookis deffinitely a must read for anyone who loves apocolypse stories, monsters, or kaiju!

Hello, one hell of a monster it is. Destroying the human population seems to be its purpose. Everything was going along nicely until we roared off the road into a deep ditch. I want monsters to be flesh and blood. Spiritual meaning behind a monster's motive or it's for our own good type of monster is weird. Thanks.

Golly, everything I am reading lately is turning out different than I thought it would be. (In a very good way). I had to go back several times in this book to re-read passages, because I really "could not believe my eyes".

This was just so fascinating. I was enthralled. Just the idea of this massive creature... was so compelling. The idea that it has been here, all along, is so profound and also so creepy. That there is something... watching. Evaluating. Judging. Something with not only the power to end us, but the will. The more we hear of it, the deadlier it seems. This is not just some wandering animal, it has a purpose to everything it does. Even when its actions make no sense to us, it has a purpose. The attack on Greenland was especially malignant The enormity of it, it took such cunning, it was so monstrous. I was shocked and tearful.

To look at things from its point of view, that it is here to protect the planet, the Earth itself, from abuse from its inhabitants is simply amazing. Like it is Gaia's weapon of last resort. That maybe, just maybe, we had better stop planning to maximize profits and start investing in survival of our kind. I just read "Vessel" and this was a more interesting read because of that. We sure have a lot of growing up to do. There is just so much food for thought here. I love intelligent books. I read a lot, but sometimes I just get lost in thought.

Thank for this very thought provoking book.

Without a doubt Jeremy Robinson has taken the Kaiju genre and broken the mold with the "Machine". This is a genuinely entertaining and fast paced action novel that focuses on much more than a giant monster reeking mass destruction. Honestly its the destruction itself more than the monster that is the true story. It is also the story of the people who survive, their emotions and their will to persevere. There are important themes here about faith, love, family and ultimately the conservation of our Earth. I will also comment that the interaction between Abraham, the main protagonist and his family, especially his very outward show of emotion in regard to his sons, is very well written. Anyone who is a father will feel the tug of these emotions as they are written and if you are the father of a son or sons you will, without a doubt, feel those emotions immensely. It's been a long time since an author has made me care so deeply about the outcome of his character. Yes, the story is fantastical and apocalyptic. It is action packed and fun, but it is also an important metaphor about how we, the human race, is treating the vessel that propels us through the universe. We are not treating it well and is it really all that far fetched to think we could be driving ourselves into extinction? Maybe even an extinction brought forth by an Apocalypse Machine!

What would happen if the world was found wanting? That the world wasn't evolving like it should, and humanity was the cause of this?...In Jeremy Robinson's new book, you get to find out....The Apocalypse Machine is what you could be faced with if we don't take care of our planet....This book really makes you sit up and take notice of what's going on around you. Book starts off with a writer who is also a nerd named Abraham...It starts in Iceland and travels the whole world...I won't tell you too much about this book except to say " This Apocalypse Machine is very very angry and is about to remake the whole world and get rid of humanity...I was on the edge of my seat throughout this book...One of Me. Robinson's best...Will read this book at least 3 more times in the next month...go and get this one, you won't be sorry...I received this copy free for an honest review...
