Warning: heart-wrenching indeed. This story is a masterpiece as usual what we get from Landon and Jaxson - I love them. The authors of the unforgettable "Dear Everly" are set to bring us to teas again. Adena is the good sister, older but wiser. But she didn't have it easy. Growing up she was abused by both of her parents while she did everything to protect Anna, her little sister from the same fate. Against all odds it was Anna that grew up rebel and defiant especially after the death of their parents and not Adena, whose gentle spirit remain intact.
However protective Adena was, Anna was the evil little sister, the one who was heartless even when it came to her own sister. Bad boy Evan came into their life one day, a restless boy always in trouble himself but whose eyes lingered more on Adena then Anna. Anna took Evan away on purpose, just because she knew he liked Adena and she would not have it. Who can still love a person like that? Adena.
Read the book. Adena you will love immediately but Anna (and the dress) you will not forgive for the longest time.

I really liked this book. I just love London Casey and Jaxson Kidman books. Both great writers. The story flowed nicely even with the stories from the past. Adena and Evan finally get their chance. I was pulling for Adena and Evan to get their HEA. Took longer than it should have but they grew during that time and the love they had grew as well. The past was filled with them both trying to keep one person in line, Adena's sister, Anna. Evan might have been a trouble maker but he was good. Adena was such a sweet caregiver and hardly ever thought of herself first which was sad especially when Anna was not grateful and ruined things for Adena. It is a good read and would recommend it giving it a read. Anything by these author's is a must read.

Of all the collaborations I've read between London (Karolyn) & Jaxson, this is my absolute favorite. When wefirst meet the "bad boy" of the story, Evan, he has stolen Ol' Man Hendricks syation wagon for a spin... It's also this first time we meet Anna & Adena, "His Dena". Anna the younger sister, the bad girl, the one that's broken. He cares for Anna, but LOVES Adena. He babysits Anna, tries to keep her out of trouble until it all just becomes too much and he leaves. Coming back years later, when he gets news that Anna has died. He comes back home to His Dena, to his first love. Adena kept secrets with Anna; Evan kept Anna's secrets. Anna lied to everyone. Now Anna was gone, now the secrets could be shared. Now Evan & Dena could finally have what they should've had from the beginning.
Heart-wrenching, I couldn't put it down until I finished!

Anna was a bad girl she smoked did drugs, and so many other bad things. She had a sister named Adena and they both lived with their aunt after their parents death.

Arena was quiet and always watched out for her younger sister. She more or less put her life on hold to take care of her sister. A boy named Evan was a class mate to Adena and she had a secret crush and grew to care very strong about him, but Anna stood him away.

This is story of heartbreak, substance abuse, angst, with more twists and turns than a mountain hairpin road. This is a book you have got to read.

Excellent story. But wow! What an emotional read this was. I was laughing out loud at some parts and crying at other parts. Evan is a character that grabs your heart from the very beginning and doesn't let go and by the end of the book your so consumed by his passion to get back what was once his but lost her because he in my eyes was a tragic hero. Adena is the big sister that falls for Evan the minute she meets him. But unfortunately Adena's little sister Annie has other plans for Evan. I was rooting for Adena to finally stand up to Annie and take what's hers. My emotions was all over the place in this book. my thoughts were so consumed with with the characters in this book from beginning to end. I was sad when it ended. The authours left me wanting more from the characters.

Told in alternating POVs, this is an emotional second chance romance between Evan and Adena. Adena's younger sister Anna had always come between them. Evan and Adena have not seen each other for years until Evan comes back for Anna's funeral. The romance between these two troubled individuals is built around their great connection and obvious attraction. It is a journey of self-discovery as Evan and Adena work through their past issues and overcome the challenges that face their budding love. A heart wrenching read, with lots of frustrating moments, sweetness, witty, flirtatious banter that made it flow seamlessly. It is a solid read all around with heart, heat and a bit of fate to orchestrate a wonderful HEA.

WOW!! What an emotional rollercoaster ride this was for me. This is the first book that I have read from London and Jaxson and it blew me away. It had all the feels that I look for in a book and kept me on edge wanting to know what happens next. I could not put it down. After reading the blurb I was thinking this book was going in a different direction but to my surprise it went opposite. I loved the storyline and the characters. I felt for Adena, Beth and Evan. I was speechless when the book ended. This book will stay with me for a long time and I will be doing a re_read again. Absolutely phenomenal. London and Jaxson have a new fan. Looking forward to reading more from them in the future. I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone.

Adena worked and bought a special dress and hoped to wear it to the prom with him, but her sister took the dress and went to the prom with him. It devastated Adena. Her sister finally died and he came back for the funeral. They went through a lot, but finally got their HEA. The ending was great. I enjoy all the books from these authors and can't wait for their next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy.

When tragedy reunites them can they get over the past or will the past be to strong and keep them from finding love?

This story is heart wrenching and so beautiful. Get the Kleenex out because you will need it, maybe grab a drink too.
Anna and Arena lost their parents and ended living with their Aunt Beth. Life is always hard when you loose a parent but when you loose both at once, well that rings a whole different set of troubles. Coping with death can be tricky. Anna the wild rebel child. Arena the quiet always do what is right sister. Don't hate them, embrace them.
Evan meets them by chance and has to struggle with his affection for the sisters. It is hard to make decisions when life hands you sour lemons.
At the end tragedy can be a great healer.
This is a great story and my heart is still trying to catch up with the ending. Thank you...

This book tore me up.
This is told in both the present and the past.
Anna was always Trouble and Adena was always the good. Evan tried to tame Anna and keep her from that trouble, and in doing so losing out on his life. After Anna passes the truths of the past come out. Will Evan and Adena be able to move on once they are all out there or will they once again go their separate ways?
I have rewritten this several times but I cannot seam to tell you about the book without giving spoilers so I will just say it is a must read with twist and turns you will not see coming.

Anna and Adena as sisters who are total opposites, and Evan is the bad boy in the middle. No spoilers though; this is one of those stories which just has to be read, you will not be disappointed! This story is tragic, filled with drama and love, and is a raw, gritty, and powerful second chance love story. This is certainly an emotional rollercoaster ride, which had me hooked and captivated from the very beginning. These extremely talented authors’ have given their all to this story, and this is my favourite read to date. I cannot wait to read more of their work, and I highly recommend these authors’ work for all readers. In my opinion, this is worth so much more than the 5 stars allowed! Amazing story!!

Wow left a lump in my throat on more than one occasion. It’s so intertwined with so many twist and turns, but what it amounts to is that when two people are made for each other, no matter what there is always a way to make it back to each other. I love the idea of this story, and the way it is so cleverly written and put together. A absolutely brilliant read and definitely worth the read. mental breakdown...wow...heart wrenching, brutal and twisted while beaing beautiful and cleansing...this isn't what you think and seriously you haven't read anyrhing like this!! Raw,sad,honestly,cringworthy,devistating but hopeful and cleansing when all the truths come to light...the lttee broke me to ugly tears and that's all I cams at without ruining this for others!! Some choices are made out of the best intentions to protect those we love and still can destroy them...life isn't always pretty and this is that story that shows the other side!! I can relate to this sister relationship and parents situation so well done to this awesome team of authors!!

This was a very heart wrenching and heart warming read. Two people trying to help mend a broken woman who in her mind want them to never be together because she knew they loved one another and she didn't want them to be happy and leave her alone. Anna wanted everyone to be miserable. Evan and Adena loved on another but from a distance because Anna kept them apart. Evan thought if he looked after Anna her sister his one true love would have a chance at a life. Adena always picking up the pieces called her sister Anna who just kept tearing her down. Anna's Dress was another great book by Jaxon Kidman./Londan Casey/ This book had me sucked in at the every first chapter. Anna was a partier and her sister was the quite one that took care of everyone. Anna was a bull in a china shop causing trouble for everyone. Two lost souls that find each other again after a tragedy. Both keeping secrets from each other waiting to be discovered by each other. This was a roller coaster of a ride through so many emotions. You will actually laugh out loud and cry hard. I would recommend this book because if you read any other books by these two authors you know it will be great and tear out your heart.

I would recommend this book!!

This book was heartbreaking, but exhilarating, to read. I actually was a bit depressed even during the happier times. It's real. Sad how money, or lack of money, can color my reactions and attitude to the fictional works I'm reading. And the pain they experienced that I had trouble working through even when the characters were doing so. I have no way to relate, so felt totally overwhelmed for them. But yet I believe this to be an excellent read. I know I will continue to think on this story.

Adena is her sister who has taken care of her since she was born she was mistreated by her parents since Anna was born. They were raised by their Aunt Beth who tried n tried to get thru to Anna Evan is the one who has Adena heart but Anna n her stuff has made it impossible. Tragedy hits and Evan comes back for Adena. Their relationship grows n they learn alot about Anna and her past.
You may need tissues but it's a fantastic book

This is an emotional read...heart breaking and heart-warming. I finished this book a couple of weeks ago but it has stayed fresh in my mind and somewhat heavy on my heart. The lesson I think we should come away with is that doing what we think is best for someone else without talking to them can lead to misunderstandings and secrets and wasted time, causing heartbreak beyond belief. Sometimes, we might be lucky enough to get a second chance. If not, it might be a heartache that we never recover from. Well done, Casey & Kidman.

As usual London Casey & Jaxson Kidman has done it again. I love this book!! Could not put it down!! It has everything to make you happy make you cry it has you feeling every emotion but enjoying every minute.. You find yourself hating Anna and then thinking if Evan & Adena had been more honest with their emotions for each other things would have been different for Anna and themselves. Will read again. It makes you hope and believe that there really is true love and a soulmate for everyone. you just need to be patient.

The characters have had hard upbringings where life has often been cruel and nothing has come easy. True loves were not waiting to fall at their feet as there were obligations that came first. Don't miss out, get the book and a box or 2 of tissues.

The characters.....I wanted to kick Anna in the ass to wake her up,I wanted to tell her life doesn't owe you anything. YOU need to work for it. Dena always the one covering and fixing ,then Evan always trying to keep Anna out of trouble while having deep feelings for Dena.

What a beautiful story! Adena’s love for Anna was so touching. Evan was torn in so many ways, but his love for Adena was enduring. I found myself in tears through many parts of this story, especially the last couple of chapters. Jaxson and London are a dynamic duo and worth reading! This book deserves 10 stars.

Loved this book!!! It has everything in a book that you need. Love, anger, sweet, sad and excitement are a just a few things that will have you reading this book in one sitting. Evan is amazing, everything you’d want and need in a man.

I loved this book! Just the right amount of angst, romance, coming of age, growing up, and sexiness. I liked both main characters. The sister, well she was easy to dislike, and yet, it's hard not to feel sorry for someone so messed up. I think if I were a younger me, I would find it very easy to hate her character. Well written, great story!

Good sweet reads. I like the dark stuff stuff but sometimes you need a little lightness. Their collaborations are just that the light sweet stuff, so I know just where to find one. I don’t think heart wrenching is an accurate statement I don’t feel all emotional but it’s cute and it’s KU so it works.

I volunteered to read an advanced copy for my honest review. This book had me a mess. I cried throughout the book, the feelings between the characters are raw. I wanted to scream at Anna. This book will
have you on an emotional rollercoaster. But its worth the read and the tears, this author writing is great.

What a fantastic book, the realness of this book just blows my mind. I highly recommend this book, it's bittersweet the characters and settings are written so well, and all I can say is you need to read this book!! Casey and Kidman write so well together it's always a pleasure reading their work.

This was a good edition to this series of standalones. The authors really have a great collaboration going. This was not my favorite of the series as it didn't have the same emotional kick that I have come to expect. That being said, it still was good.
