Don't Be Afraid

This book takes hold of your heart from the first chapter and rips it apart. This book was very well written, well developed characters and an awesome ending. The author makes you feel the terrible pain of losing a loved one, the joy of life and the happiness of finding LOVE all in one sitting.

Sweet lord. Have the Kleenex ready. The first half of this book was hard to read. Not just for the obvious reasons but also because my eyes kept watering and is have to pause to get a handle on my emotions.

Fantastic characters band proof that our guardian angels come in a variety of ways. Every character was beautifully crafted.

Omg this book absolutely blew me away!! Don't even attempt to read this one without a full box of tissues by your side. Even the hardest of hearts will crack wide open right from the very first page. While I will admit it was easy to see where this story was going, the path the author takes us down to tell her story is a thing of beauty. I highly recommend this one!

omg i dont think i stopped crying from the beginning to the end. such an emotional story. sawyer has one great love patrick who is taken away from her by life's tragedies but she is able to find live again with gage who promised patrick that he would take care of her and their daughter. get your tissues ready before you read this story. absolutely amazing

This book....oh, what can I say without spoiling it? It tore me to shreds, then put me back together. Patrick's bravery, Sawyer's and Gage's love and struggles, Patrick's family's support...it was all a beautifully painful story of how life can twist and turn on us all. Trust me, you'll want tissues handy, but you'll also be reluctant to put the book down.

Omg. Talk about all inclusive books. This book had it all Love, Loss, more love. After the first few pages, I was hooked. I cried with Sawyer, Ms. Harms really know how to put you in side the story. This comes as no surprise though, as I have read every one of her books and have yet to be disappointed! So all and all read this and any other book of hers you can get your hands on!

Death no matter the situation is always hard. It takes you to another place were your mind is running 235 mph. Sawyer had to experience this with her young love. She has to be tough and make sure everyone knows it.

But even though she had to bury the love of her life, will she be able to feel whole again?

This one got me. Sobbing. Sobbing so much. Tears just ran down my face. C.A. of course does a wonderful job convening the feelings of all characters. I didn't want the bad to happen. I held my breathe as they were going through the terrible times. I have never felt so much as I did with this book. This is truly an epic story.

You will spend most of this book crying your eyes out. Still you won't even consider setting this book down till you are done. The emotions in this book are intense and varied with an overlying sense of bittersweet at the end. Don't be afraid to read this book and experience these emotions. Be brave you will not regret it.

This extremely well written love story filled my heart. Lovely plot, lovely characters, incredible love story. I read, right before this one, another story with a death in it. It was so shallow with none of the beautiful heartfelt emotions of this one. Such a difficult subject to write about. This was done beautifhlly

This book had me from the start. My initial reaction was to stop reading because I was already having my heart strings tugged and my eyes wet. But as I read more and more I found i couldn't put it down. This book is about loss, love, hope and second chances. I'm so glad I read this book. Please read, it's a wonderful tear jerker that'll leave you wanting more.

Wow....my review is just going up because I needed time to process. This read completely gutted me. I honestly am at a loss for words. I mean, this read put me through it! My heart aches and I cried, oh how I cried. I highly recommend this read but hold on tight because it’s one hell of an emotional ride.

This book will have you so far into your feelings. If your wanting a good ugly cry book this is the one for you. Patrick and Sawyer has it all until life for in the way. This is a story of a powerful all consuming love. Each time I read one of this authors books it just keeps getting better... This book totally consumed me.

I was totally blown away by this book. This story had me crying right away and I couldn't put the book down! I don't know how CA Harms out did herself but this will be an all time fave of mine! I highly recommend this book as it will be on my reread list!

This book is amazing. Heartbreaking, poinient, gut wrenching and uplifting. Every emotion you can imagine is in these pages. Well-written and emotional. I’m not a crier, but this book brought tears to my eyes. Well worth the read. Once I started it, I could not put it down.

I read this book through kindle unlimited and I found it not only a very emotional story but a romantic and uplifting one as well. Just be in the right frame of mind before you start this story and have a whole box of Kleenex handy.

Sawyer and Patrick have a beautiful marriage. Their love is obvious and what everyone wishes to have. My heart broke into a million tiny pieces. This book teaches you how love should be and how to live and love like any day could be your last. I loved Patrick so deeply. Gage was amazing and Sawyer was a tough chick. Really just loved this through and through.

Emotionally devastating. The author knows how to use words that seem to rip your heart out. But the best part is she will slowly mend it back together piece by little piece. Bring the tissue with this one. I promise you'll have tears of joy and heartbreak.

The emotion that comes from this story is unimaginable. The love that pours from the pages is something that dreams are made of. This story is about love, sadness, anger, loss, and knowing that it's ok to move on in life and love again. This story deserves more than 5 stars.

What an amazing book...I cried and cried and cried! It is beautifully written and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. The author took me on one heck of an emotional roller coaster. We've all been touched by cancer, directly or indirectly, so to see it play out from both points of view was absolutely heartbreaking. When I read other reviews where the readers had cried I thought I was prepared for what came...but that wasn't the case.
