As in the previous Dewey Andreas novels the world becomes a better place when he is pushed into action. This book was a thrilling and frightening picture of today's would from two widely different views. Thank you Ben Coes I loved this adventure.

Ben brings it all together masterfully! I've read a lot in this genre and Ben hits all areas very well. Character development, humor, great action with enough but not too much detail, some sexy/romantic moments, and enough twists to keep you intrigued. When a book has me physically laughing and smiling you know it is well done. My biggest complaint is the story is finished.

Coes improves again. He may be my favorite in the Brad Thor , vince Flynn genre of counter terrorist conflicts. A plausible plot, sadly possible in today's world of ISIS bloodshed, woven intricately , and depicted masterfully.

I couldn't put it down! Comes gives fascinating detail where it's needed, and then smacks you with fast-paced action. Dewey becomes a legend and even more human than before. You're going to love this one

Plausible, exciting, action packed, easy to read, hard to put down. Well researched, the best of his books. He equals the story-telling abilities of a Wilbur Smith. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience

Good read with quite a bit of current reflection on politics and weaponry. Would have had 5 stars but could not picture Dewey as a transformer or other super hero as he would have had to be as the human body is not capable of suffering the trauma over and over again sans time to heal.

Everything you would expect from Ben Coes. Dewey is sent to Damascus where he saves the day. However, it is not without cost and it is not without injury to himself. Heading back to home where he can heal and rest up, he learns that terrorists have taken over Columbia University. They have hostages and have the building wired like a suicide bomb. Rest and healing are not in Dewey's immediate future. It seems the Pentagon, in an effort to get the middle East the way they want it, are providing weapons to the wrong leader. The hostages were taken to ensure that the boat with the guns gets delivered. They need to be rescued, but how does Dewey plan on doing that when the place is so completely wired to blow up with the first wrong move? Plenty of action here!

Typical DA, this character exudes bad ass, from beginning to the ultimate ending, I can't wait for the next book to be released.
Hopefully a movie is around the corner some day, just need to do it right?

I love the Dewey Andreas series and each installment makes me look forward to the next. This did not disappoint. Action packed and full of intrigue from beginning to end. Ben Coes is a master at taking the headlines of today and realistically incorporating them into the story. Great read!
