This is my first time reading Ben Coes' books. The excitement from page to page does not allow you to want to eat or sleep. This was well written by someone who seems to know what he is talking about. I intend to read more books by Mr. Coes. jjj

Seriously - read Ben Coes. His first novel, Power Down, in my opinion, was his best, but I've read them all, and I really enjoy them. You will love Dewey Andreas as much as Mitch Rapp, character written by our most-respected and, sadly, deceased Vince Flinn.

My heart was broken when Vince Flynn died, not only because he was a good man, but one of my favorite authors. Before he passed, I read his review of a Ben Coes book-and I knew I had found another author who wrote in the same genre as Flynn. Dewey Andreas could be the twin of Mitch Rapp-the terrorist fighting hero of many of Fynn's books. Ben Coes does not disappoint.

The story moved slower than previous books. I COULD and did put it down. The line was too outlandish executing an OP without any problems in Iran of all places.
How about more action and less introspection.

Again Coes introduces a large number of characters but manages to make the book interesting enough to keep you reading. He ties it all up nicely and then leaves the "ending" so that the reader cannot wait to start his next book. Coes has done a really nice job of developing the Dewey Andreas character in his first three books; I hope he continues the trend in his next books.

I read around one hundred books a year, Ben Coes was my great find for this year. I read all three of his books, his characters and plot are excellent. I've already pre-ordered his fourth book on the store.

This book was another thriller and hard to put down. If you like espionage and a hero that wins in the end then this book should be just what you are looking for. Dewey Andreas is a hero in every sense of the word and operates on the world stage with impunity.

The characters seem real. The story is plausible and the suspense skillfully rises over the entire length of the book. Now I realize why I was so happy to see another Ben Coes novel. This is very enjoyable read.

Dewey Andreas could easily be a compatriot of Mitch Rapp. This was my first Ben Coes novel and I am certain it won't be my last. As a matter of fact I have already purchased a second one for my Kindle. It was very exciting and kept one on edge through the last chapter. For those who like Vince Flynn, Ben Coes has a similar style. Very enjoyable.
