OMG!! What the hell did I just read?!?! I absolutely did not see that coming!! I have been completely emotionally invested in this series since the very beginning. It has been a very rocky and emotional rollercoaster ride to say the least. This final book far exceeded all of my expectations. So many questions were finally answered and so many additional discoveries were made. I always hoped that sweet Elizabeth would finally get her happy ending but things didn't happen at all like I had imagined. Though I am sad to see it all come to an end that was one heck of a finale!!

The conclusion to the raw and emotional story of Elizabeth and Declan. Although certain aspects of the Black Lotus series have been hard to read, the characters and their hearts are so beautifully written that you can't tear your eyes or your heart away. The characters are wonderfully complex and flawed throughout the series, and this last installment doesn't disappoint. Declan and Elizabeth must try to find the mystery man on the plane she identified at the end of Echo, and try to forge a path into a semi-normal relationship. Can they trust each other? Is forgiveness possible? Can they let go of the past, both their own mistakes and each other's? Through it all, there is their love, powerful and odd-defying, so mysteriously strong even they don't understand it. There are big surprises that can't be revealed, but I guarantee you will need tissues throughout the book. E.K. Blair does a magnificent job of making you love characters you should despise, and revealing their basic humanity and purity underneath their actions

Book 1 & 2 were amazing, this book kinda fell flat for me and honestly I had to push myself to finish it. Very disappointed in the ending. I feel like I have been pulled on a string and then cut off.

This series blew me away. Must read for those who like the dark ones. I loved each book. Awesome cliff hangers in Bang and Echo that all paid off in Hush. Even though I did not see the ending coming and I was in shock for a few, it was perfect for Elizabeth. Again if you like dark, erotic and awesome this series is a must read.
Back to Hush, I felt like I really got to know Elizabeth and Declan in this one. Their story was hard to take but the great love that they came to have for one another was amazing to read.
e.k. is a master and I hope to read much more from her in the future.
This is a can't miss for those that want a dark, suspense filled, well written book.
Excuse me now, as I have to go decompress for a few hours.
This book will slay you.

Seriously?!! I feel like a fool! I can't believe this is the same Author as the first two books; I couldn't put them down! This book had me so sick of Elizabeth and her whiny destructive stupid behavior; her and her visions of Pike got so annoying! If a character is having issues, etc. it's really great to read about them growing past their troubles. I'm so disappointed about that Epilogue; it was absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have ever read!

Loved it. Couldn't put it down. It had everything in it suspense, violence, murder, love and hate. It brought tears to my eyes when Elizabeth was abused by the terrible foster couple. I thought her anger was a bit displaced but I guessed she was never patented to guide her through her anger. I was somewhat disappointed with the ending but at least she was happy. All in all it was a great read. I couldn't put it down. And couldn't wait until book 3 arrived. Loved it.

First I love the series!!!?? and the first 2books were awesome!! A little disappointed in the 3rd one. The ending was a total letdown that I don't even know what to say or even how to feel!! I was just chanting " omg! No way!!! What the hell !!" I wanted no part of that crazy fantasy! So I'm thinking maybe it's a dream and there's gonna another book??????? Just a crazy ending that it didn't feel like a ending!

Again the reader of this final installment of The Black Lotus Series cannot help but notice the highly skilled composition and descriptive prose of E.K Blair. While there was some suspense and consequences of undercurrents from illegal arms dealings, this book was more an examination of how two fatally flawed lovers found themselves, each other, and their way home. I find it difficult to describe how I am feeling after reading this series. I believe I have been reminded about personal truths I hold dear. I was entertained. Ultimately, I was moved by the "Wonderland" ending and the refusal to quash "child-like" hope in darkness and despair. This hope growing out of the muck and mire of a soiled life like the pristine pure lotus flower grows out of the mud. Even if your difficult, abusive, and sad life blackens your hope, a Black Lotus.

Damn. Okay. Let me vent first. For authors who write trilogies, don't wait so long between books. I had to reread the other two to get the fullness of this book. Not that is was a terrible hardship but I'm not patient and not young. I want to know what happens. So move those publish dates closer together. NOW, this trilogy.....read them. Prepare yourself to be happily sad or maybe sadly happy or maybe both. I was. I love stories. I read a lot, watch movies and listen to others tell their stories. It's fascinating. And so is this work. The characters are real, the situations they find themselves in will bring you angst for them. I am so pleased to have read this. It isn't what I necessarily wanted it to be but it was exactly what it should have been. Don't waste any more time. Read this.

I was actually very disappointed in this book. The first books of this series I couldn't put down and left me waiting for the next. I felt this book was done more out of obligation and rushed. I would not recommend it to others.

**Warning! My review contains MAJOR SPOILERS!!**

What the heck did I just read? This book was boring. It was ridiculous. I have no idea who this Declan and Elizabeth were but they weren't the two from the previous books.

There were so many things they did that didn't make sense. This, particularly, bugged me the most - Matt gave up Elizabeth to his loan shark. But instead of just giving the loan shark the $250,000 he was owed to save her own skin, Elizabeth gave him all of Bennett's billions because she didn't want his money. What?! Okay that's fine but why not give it to a children's abuse charity or foster home charity? Anything other than a scumbag loan shark. I can't even.

It all felt lazy. Like Blair didn't have a game plan for the finale. I can tell you anything would have been better than the epilogue we were given. It's the dumbest thing I've ever read in my life.

I really hate to be so harsh but there were high expectations for this finale and it was an epic fail. The only part I liked was the reunion between Elizabeth and her dad. That was highly emotional. Otherwise it would have only been one star. What a waste. I'm highly disappointed.

I really did love the 3 books, however, the ending? I would have been much happier if the author just ended the story with 2 "bangs" right before the epilogue, and then "The End". Although, I'm a sucker for a "happily ever after", this really did not do it for me. I am SO disappointed, I actually feel a little ripped off with this ending. It really ruined the series for me

Wow Holy Wow!
I have enjoyed the Black Lotus series from the first word. Elizabeth and Declan captured me and I never was able to release them. All though there story is absolutely devastating at times, other times I found myself gasping as I read there journey. I am so sad to see there story end but I must say it was the most beautiful ending.
"We are finally free from all that has ever haunted us"

Thank You E.K. Blair for this most wonderful story.

I love Mrs. Blair writing, I love this series. we get the answer to who was on the plane. we see Elizabeth and Declan grow as a couple. we see Elizabeth come to terms with the things that she's had to do. with this being said the end its not what I had expected specially after everything Elizabeth and Declan have been thru. I'm sorry Mrs. Blair but the ending ruined the series. The book was great the ending was not. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Some SPOILERS, it's marked where, but no actual detail.

This book isn't a stand-alone. You must read Echo and Bang first.
This series has a dark, thriller, type edge to it. I feel all that was lost though in this book.
Maybe after the first two books, I had too many expectations??
Declan and Elizabeth, pick up where book two left off.
And out of everyone you're thinking, nope, probably not them who got off that plane.
I still can believe this book is the same writer, with the same characters, from the previous books.
Nina/Elizabeth, isn't even close to the character she was in the previous books. She was constantly crying, or had tears in her eyes. I was ready to put on a raincoat while reading. Thank God I have water protection on my kindle for fear that was going to have water damage from the flood coming from Elizabeth's eyes.
Declan, he was always so alpha, brave, and the kink from him, I was left fanning my self. He wasn't the same character either. He was constantly having to reassure Elizabeth, which led to pages, upon pages, of descriptive sex. Frankly, it left me confused. Was this the same Declan?? Declan was far more creative than just constantly tying her hands and a few ice cubes.

Stop reading if you don't want to know more....

We spend the whole book in between looking for the man that got off the plane, you know the one who's been dead all these years!! For them to have a few chapter reunion, and it's done. All that effort for a super SIM card that's all James Bond for the bad man to find him and it's over like that?? Not even a goodbye, for the second time in her life.
I mean in the hundreds of pages for all that??
Even to find out who Isla is took up one sentence. No reunion. No nothing. It felt like something just to throw in the book for more word count.
Okay I'm still clueless why they'd figure giving a drug dealer billions of dollars was a good idea?? This just goes to show Elizabeth and Declan aren't the characters they were in the previous books. So what if you don't want the money you inherited!! Wouldn't you think to give it to a victim's shelter?? I'm not sure if Declan had gotten into Elizabeth's pills when he thought up this plan. Elizabeth was one smart villain previously, so this thought process just doesn't make any sense. Even with her being blackmailed. We all know she's good with a gun.
The rest of the other things one paragraph.
That ending put the final nail in the coffin for this book rating.
I could of lived with that ending, but not the epilogue. If I wanted a PNR book, I would read one.
*Right down the rabbit hole*
I mean really caterpillars?? That epilogue felt like an Alice In Wonderland theme.

As I won't give you the actual ending, I had to find out the only way... read it.
If you can live without knowing who got off that plane, I'd be happy there.

Very disappointed. This was a highly anticipated release for me and I stopped reading another book to start this book to finally finish this series and boy was I let down. And that ending was absolutely ridiculous and ruined the whole series for me. Not every book has to have a HEA, but when you put your heroine through hell for 3 books, you hope to see her happy in the end.

Very Disappointed!!!!

Loved the first 2 books and couldn't wait for the 3rd book. I agree with the other review as too much hallucinations and too much crying. The final straw was the very disappointing ending. I would love it if E.K. Blair wrote a revision to the ending.

This has been one of the most highly anticipated releases for me, and it was a severe let down. I wanted to set it down and walk away several times because I did not feel the story at all, but I had to see it through. I had to know what happened, and seriously, I feel that I shouldn't have even bothered. Now don't get me wrong, EK's writing is exceptional, but I felt a complete disconnect with the characters and the story line was subpar. I loved Bang and Echo. I absolutely loved these books, but Hush is a different story all together.
