000 Problems, Be a Circle Maker: The Solution to 10

I read this "the cliff notes" for a book suggested by my bible study (we had the workbook and I mistook this for the accompanying book)

It really is a good acaccompanying book for the workbook but wish I hadn't ordered the wrong one!!

The entire book could have been written in one word- pray. Pray about everything as the Bible commands. Nowadays people would rather say "make a circle around it" than just say pray, pray, pray. It takes a catchy phrase like 'make a circle' to provide an impetus to get Christians and others to read and dig deeper. The book is entirely true and I believe prayer is the answer to everything, I just think it is a little sad that we have to disguise biblical truths to instill curiosity...

This is a helpful small version of some key points from the book "The Circle Maker." It is a good book to give someone going through a rough time. Easy to read, but carries a lot of good insight into prayer.

This book was recommended to me with some degree of hype but when I started to read it, I was quickly disappointed. The premise of the story is rather mystical and the reality of it seems to promise more than it can deliver. I have been praying for all of my life, and no matter what trend or gimmick comes along, nothing takes the place of faithful and persistent prayer, nor of the acceptance of God's will/answer whether or not it meets with my approval. Gimmicks do NOT work; God's ways with us are NOT often predictable.

I absolutely loved the book..It inspired me and I learnt a few things I didn't know about prayer...the only disappointment I had is that the book is too small and feel there could have been more written...I have already recommended the book to a number of my friends...well done to Mark Batterson!
