My Defender (Bewitched and Bewildered Book 8)

Love love this series once again the author had you right there with the characters she gets u pull into the story and never let you go it's always a sad moment when I'm at the end but then I know its not the end because there's more to come .....Supet excited for the next book in this series can wait!!!

I love this series!!! I preordered this one and was so excited when it showed up...Grant (A wolf shifter) and Ellie(A elephant shift) are a new couple to add to the list of great couples.Grant is a big broading male and Ellie is a sexy pinup in Meryls words lol.They come together to help save the wolfcub in nocturnal falls who are falling ill. Added plus you get more of Aiden and Meryn and there craziness.....This series just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for the next book.....

I laughed, I cried, and I laughed some more. This was a fantastic story. Watch all the craziness unfold as Dr. Elli comes to the vampire city to help save the children. She finds her mate but can their love overcome their pasts. Read to find out. Oh and Meryn is up to her crazy antics as usual.

This is absolutely one of my favorite series to read. It hooked me the minute it started referencing all my favorite sci-fi fandoms in My Commander and continued on with it's absolutely amazing ladies. It's always engaging and I re-read the series often (which is something considering I read upwards of 500 new books a year on a regular basis) ! Be sure to be somewhere you don't mind chuckling out loud on occasion, because it will happen. Can't wait for the next book!

In My Defender, Alanea Alder has created another mated couple that because of the spell to draw their mates to them, have bonded together and fallen in love. Grant and Ellie had waited forever to find a mate but know immediately that they have found each other at first glance. With other mated friends to help and the need to find out why shifter children falling ill for no foreseeable reason. They search for why children are targeted for unnecessary pain and angst. Loved the story and the characters from previous books as they scramble to stop evil from harming the cities children.

Love the author, the characters and everything that's mixed up into this wonderful secret world of paranormals, but....how much further can this thing go? Are we ever going to find out how to bring keelan back? Are we going to figure out why fate keeps aligning Meryn with such strong allies? It seems that with each book we get further away from figuring out what type of evil dibolical plot is at hand. I just wanna know what's going on?!?

Another wonderful book of Bewitched and Bewildered. My heart was broken and I cried over parts of the book,it felt as if the characters was apart of my life. I laughed so hard that I couldn't catch my breath. This book was simply amazing, wonderful, hopeful and full of love. I have every book in this series and can't wait for the next one to come out.

I love this series and unfortunately, I read them much faster than they are written! i swear the things Meryn says has me rolling on the floor sometimes as well as how naieve the guys are. Also had a good cry and still holding out that she'll bring Keelan back eventually.

I love all the characters, the plot, the love stories and the intrigue. I especially silly enjoy all the antics and funny things the warriors do. Please keep writing its not everyday we can find a story with all the ingredients to make a great story. I highly recommend it

I like the series and was thrown by the appearance of an elephant shifter. As the characters grow and expand I eagerly look forward to the next book. I am waiting impatiently for the mate of the Prince and the returning of a soul to the body, interesting things to come.

Oh my....another awesomely done book! I could not wait for this book and I am not disappointed. Read this book had great happy and sad moments too but the balance was good. Meryn is so my hero. Next can not come fast enough.

Another amazing novel by Alanea Alder. Grant and Ellie's story was perfect. Enough questions from previous novels are answered while leaving you with just enough mystery to be dying for the next!! Meryn is one of my favorite characters in literature and she gets better with each novel. Thank you for another great book and I cannot wait for the next!!

I absolutely loved this book! I laughed so hard I had to keep removing my eyeglasses to wipe away the tears. I recommend this and the entire series...you will not be disappointed. Cant wait for the next book. Alanea Alder continues to be my favorite author!!!

I LOVE this series! The characters are deep but funny! I laughed out loud, then I cried just to start laughing again. AA is one of a few authors that can wring every drop of emotion from you.... you can't help but love her and her world's! Can't wait till the next book!

I love every single book in this series, the character's personalities jump off the page with such vivid color that this world is brilliantly clear in your mind. you will laugh,cry, and gasp with suspense with each chapter you read. I highly recommend this series and Alnea Alder the author . I just wish the new books could be released a lot sooner.

I love all of Alanea Alders books. This one wasn't one of my favorite but it was still amazing. I would suggest for anyone who loves paranormal reading to pick this book up. It's WORTH IT!!! You'll never be able to put it down.

My god this author never fails to soooooo deliver! Her stories are amazing! Well written and captivating. So OK I am so ready for book 9! You cannot leave me hanging regarding those sick children! Help!!!!! I need to know more!

My only complaint about this series is that Alanea Alder doesn't write faster! The books are great reads with a little of everything. They're suspenseful, romantic, sweet, sexy and funny as beck! Every time the next one comes out, I can't wait to read it!

I would have given it 10 stars there was nothing I didn't like. It made laugh as usual and cry. I laugh tears when the warriors watched the birthing film. Hilarious?. Once I start I can't stop. Thank you. Keep on writing

Enjoyed this latest addition to the B & B series. More mystery surrounds the group as new problems arise. Great new characters and some truly laugh out loud scenes! Can't wait for the next to see what else will happen...

I was looking forward to reading this book for weeks and knowing Alanea Alders' writing style , I was expecting the best. She supast anything i was expecting. Hands down the best book yet.

Every book gets better and better. I love Meryn more and more with every book. I love that her and Aiden as well as all the other characters are still in play. I enjoyed Grant and Ellies story and cant wait to see what happens next. Aside from Meryn being my absolute favorite...Kendrick is my 2nd. I hope that this series expands into all pillar cities...because that'd be amazeballs.

I do wish their was a character map available because it's been while between books and I got a little lost with the character's relationships. However Meryn was great as always. These stories are so much fun.

As always, the author writes a good story while managing to move the characters along. Interesting world building too. The one drawback for me is the abrupt ending. Seems like there should have been a bit more.

This series is one that keeps you crying,laughing, and in love. The characters are all well thought out and you would think as it goes along you lose people but Alanea does a wonderful job keeping them in the loop and well connected. Highly recommend the series from book 1. I often go back to reread.

If you love the Bewitched and Bewildered series, you will love this one. It deals with body image and dysfunctional family issues, plus has some great laugh out loud moments as these big strong men are introduced to what childbirth is like. In addition, we get some great characters from the earlier books that show up and entertain us all over again.

Every time I open a Bewitched and Bewildered book I have high expectations, and every single time Alanea Alder knocks them out of the park. This is my favorite series, and I am constantly drawn into the story. Grant and Ellie are one of my favorite mated couples so far. I am so excited to read the next book.

This was AMAZING!!!! I have not laughed that hard reading a book in a couple of years. I always feel like it's never long enough to feed my addiction for this series, but that might just be because I read them so fast. I can't wait for the next one!
