My Guardian (Bewitched and Bewildered Book 6)

The woman characters within these novels have been out of sight. With there strong emotional exterior, vast capability of taking down their surroundings male counterparts. An holding them hostage with their smart badass verbal bantering. Meryn, is still my favorite.

This is a wonderful addition to the series, I was unsure that I wanted to be lead away from the alpha unit in Lyconia to the city of night, shows what I know. Eva and Adriel are fantastic characters. And Meryn was in top form. Of course my favorite scene was when Meryn asked how the city pooped. Fantastic job I would absolutely recommend this!

They say the sweetest things. But other than that, there's not much action, and a lot of the book is spent watching old characters be the principle action without being the point of view character. It's bizarre.
Also, I'm beginning to find Meryn a little much.

Love the series! But, as a reader, I deserve editing, no repeat sentences, missing pages, to cause distraction! And for the price, at least a 300 page book!
Some authors (Diana Gabaldon) give their readers worth!
That being said, great series! Funny and entertaining! But more development in mate relationship is needed!

Omg great story anyone who reads JR Ward or Faith Gibson will love Alenea Alder her stories are absolutely wonderful,you will laugh,cry and fall in love with the characters,these books are such a joy to read I would recommend them to anyone of all ages.

Yay! Another book in the Bewitched and Bewildered series. I love the new characters, but wished for more of Meryn and the role her baby plays in the future of the Units! Either way, I love this series and look forward to more!

I would advise everyone to read this all the other bewitched books! I just love all of them. Alanna manages to keep her characters strong and real. You have keep going once you start on one of her books. I was waiting up last night so I could start the garden. I was not disappointed. I am waiting for the next book. Please hurry. Judy Anderson

I was anxiously awaiting the release of My Guardian, as I have loved every book in the series. Even in the different setting, Ms. Adler keeps true to characters while opening up the world to new stories, conflicts, and characters. I retread these books often, and will again anxiously await the next one in the series.

Alanea Alder makes reading fun. She's an absolute nut, her books are so inappropriately hilarious. I fell in love with this cast they have so much strength and are witty and when they come together they compliment each other so well. This is an instant one click series for me and I can't wait for the next book.

Alanea created another excellent book in her bewitched an bewildered series. Good to see that "Menace" can cause trouble everywhere. It is also good to see the dynamic of another pillar city.
I also have a theory about Stephan the wolf alpha of the refugee' s sniffing Merine all the time. What if Merine 2.0 is his mate, that is why her send is familiar to him . Can't wait for the next book

We are finally at the City of Nights - the vampire stronghold. And another is having dreams of his mate- nice to visit the city we have enjoyed hearing about in all of the books and another unit is introduced- glad to see this series is going strong. Love all these books-can't wait for more books worth the wait

#6 in this series and well-written. However, I was not as invested in Eva and Adriel as I have been in the other characters. I would have enjoyed more description of the inner workings of the vampire pillar city and felt the conflicts with the various groups could have been fleshed out more. All in all, this goes in my keeper file.

Although I totally was looking forward to the beta unit stories....I can't say I'm disappointed...very few series leave me laughing and thoroughly entertained...it is also super rare when I can't predict where the story is going... I definitely can't wait for the next book

Hilarious moments, a lot of action, more funny moments, romance, erotic scenes, drama.
It has it all. Very lovable characters, and it's great how Alanea is knitting this awesome family

Read all six books and really enjoyed the story and characters. There were some editing issues but not notable enough to effect readability or to dilute the stories. Really, really like the way the different stories and characters flow and would recommend if you are up for some fun reading.

Love this series. Funny and snarky with some hot sexy times with alpha males and feisty ladies! Loved going to a new city with all kinds of trouble to get into . New people and some familiar faces.

Love this story and the characters in all the books, can't wait to see what comes next. Meryn in a city full of vampires was great I just wish the book was longer and that we learned more about the big bad. I loved the book don't get me wrong I just felt like not a lot happens in this book.

Alanea Alder has done it again! I absolutely love her books! This one was well anticipated and did not disapoint. Loved all the new characters. Would of loved it to be longer but with any good book we always wish the same haha. Cannot wait for the next book!

My daughter recommended this series and I'm so glad she did. I loved every book in the set. The storyline was excellent, just the right amount of sex scenes mixed with a touch of humor. I could not put it down. Kudos Ms Alder. So looking forward to the VanGuard set...

When the last book ended with a telephone call , we thought how is the Author going to incorporate a new group of people into the book without messing up the series, and her answer to that was you add romance, danger, humor and fun and stir to make one spectacular story.

As many others have said these book felt unfinished and a lack of connection to the rest of the series. Hoping the next book is better. Still the book was a fun read and i was able to get lost in it. next books is highly anticipated.
For anyone who loved this series and wants another good read check out the tempted knights series, last chance is the first book.

Luv Mervyn and the rest of the characters. I like the location change and the lead in to the new book. Can't wait to see more and finally have an outcome I would luv to see Meryn cause more trouble in the next book of course with the twins

I love Alanea Alder and her crazy wonderful mind! This story has love, laughter, family! Who could ask for more. I am sitting at the front desk at work and have been sneaking pages in all day. Oh my a few times my boss came to check on me as I was laughing out loud!!! This is a stand alone but soooo much better to be read in order. So many questions I have. I hope they get answered soon.. :) read this you won't be disappointed!

I did enjoy reading this book, even though it was a little less steamy, lol, and it had a few typos that really stood out. Other than that, you can't help but laugh out loud, and fall in love with all of the characters.

I have all of the Bewitched and Bewildered series. This one made me laugh the most. I love the feeling of family in the books. It doesnt hurt that the characters are HOT tooo. I still wait for the sense of love and peace the characters feel in the book with their mates. Thank You Alanea Alder i can never put your books down until im done!!!!

The bewitched and bewildered series has not failed to entertain me and My Guardian delivered on all accounts. We had our favourite crazy characters and had some new ones introduced. These books get a reread tick of approval from me.

Another amazing chapter in thr Bewitched and Bewildered series. I live through change in venue, new characters, expanding plot and family lines and oh how I love Meryn. I can't wait for the next book!

I love the Bewitched and Bewildered series! What amazing characters, dialogue and storyline! I'm always excited to get a new one, I can't put it down and I laugh out loud while reading and I'm slightly depressed when I finish!

I love this series....a lot of funny moments, and I die every time they go to the grocery store. Yet the bad guys and really, really bad and I cannot wait to find out who is behind such an abomination.

This book introduced us to another site, the vampire site. Happy there's more awesome team players to meet their mate. The ending left it hanging about who's the bad guys. Can't wait to see what happens next

I typically pick random authors to review there writing style. Alanea Alder has done a wonderful job at creating a blend of spunky and entertaining personalities. I love how the first book with Meryn and Aiden begins and look forward to each new connection made. I truly appreciate the overlap between previously discussed characters and newly introduced ones.
