IPad 2 For Dummies

When I first received my iPad, a friend recommended that I check this book out from the library. I'm glad I bought it instead, for one read will not do the trick for me. I need to be able to look in the index and find how to do whatever I am involved with at the time. I am not particularly adept when it comes to electronics, so the Dummy book makes it possible for me to enjoy having an iPad.

This book was much more understandable than the "official" iPad manual. I used it like a workbook, going page-by-page, and I ended up more proficient on my iPad than most of my friends are. I recommend it for dummies and non dummies alike.

Very pleased. Well written! Arrived right on schedule ! Can hardly put the book down. Answers all my questions before I even know what I would be coming to ask. Makes me feel safe - where I usually would feel lost.

I received an apple iPad for Christmas, however, I received no users manual with it. I even downloaded What was supposed to be user instruction. Nothing there. So I ordered I pad 2 for dummies. I think this will do the trick. The book is in beautiful condition. Will purchase from this seller again.

Found this book very useful and informative. My brother and I have been sharing iPad information and the included information in this book has expanded our use of the iPad. I would recommend especially at the price.

I first bought "My iPad Mini" based on the store reviews. It was O.K. but I still had unanswered questions so I bought this, too. Much more complete and informative and has answered most of my questions.

Having just received a new iPad for Christmas, this was just what the doctor ordered...it gave me insite into the workings of the iPad since this is my first experience with an Apple product. It's well written and easy to understand...I highly recommend it!!!

iPad for Dummies....I just bought an iPad and....I'm a Dummy. It's a perfect adjunct to my new equipment. I can follow it step by step and get everything done. Error? Go back to the starting point of the function in the book . Love it.

Most of the intro chapters contained things I already knew, but this book had so much more I didn't know than either of the other two I purchased along with it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who hasn't ever used an iPhone or iPod in the past.

covered from start to finish...Even though I have been a Mac user for years..the iPad stumped me...
as how to make upper case letters, change home page etc.
I did go to a "class" at Apple store but by the time I got home forgot 1/2 of content. This book is a great reference
to remind and review.

I'm just pulling myself into the 21st century. I found the overview easy to follow. I bought the book before I actually bought the iPad and found that the iPad was pretty intuitive so I didn't need to use the 'dummies' book very often. It did help with a few things.

Avery good manual. I especially like it because I can go back nd review instructions over and over again. I have not completed the whole book yet( as far as completing all off the steps) but I have ead through it.

Still attempting to learn half of what this gadget can do. The firsts thing I learned was that I bought the wrong model. Returned it and got the better one so I am not reliant on wi-fi. Book is very helpful. Classes at Apple store are bette but this is a good reference to have on hand.

This is extremely useful and has gotten me into using the iPAD as I need to. Without it I'd be lost, since I have no natural ability with the latest electronics, but want to be able to use them. Thanks for putting the book out for "DUmmies" like me.

Purchased this for my 80 year old aunt. It seemed really easy and basic to me but she had problems, necessitating my time to review and help her with this product. I think it may be a generational technology learning gap.

The people at Apple are truly innovative, but shipping a product without an owner's manual is not. So, being 57, and an apple virgin I decided to try this book. If it wasn't for this book and my knowledgeable friends I'd still be trying to turn the thing on. A small investment to make your life and your new iPad more useful.

As I found out later, operating system of my iPad2 was more recent than one used in the book. Not a problem, but I thought the
issue of the book was up to date...Familiarity with these electronics is a must. This book I find not detailed enough for a beginner.

The book itself is the first of the Dummies series I have had with colored pages on glossy paper.

Overall a very good reference for us seniors...

This book provides the step by step procedures to open the available tasks that the mini iPad can accomplish. Easy reading with great explanations. Don't let the title discourage you from getting this set of directions.

Learned a lot and still learning every day. I would definitely recommend this book to new iPad Air users. I was talking to an apple tech about something and I mentioned just receiving this book and how much I was learning and She said she would definitely recommend it now to people asking about a book to learn from.

This book is a real boon. Especially the extra tips. I found it very informative and helpful. My 92 year old mother has an iPad, which she adores, and it has been really useful to her as well. It is easy to find what you are looking for and is well written.
