This was my first introduction to menage and I have been hooked ever since! Maya Banks just nailed it with these series, beautifully written, Gave the book 5 stars for the gripping tale of 3 brothers(Ethan, Ryan and Adam,he becomes Holly husband,but her commitment is to all 3 men)searching for 1 sexy,beautiful,caring woman Holly,a woman who would completely changed their lives.This book has twists and turns. And after all is said and done.There is an epic love story! If you take the journey you won't be disappointed! Bravo Maya!

This menage starts with a woman stranded but rescued by a beautiful man and his two brothers. She was running from a husband that puts mean, with organized crime backing him.

The brothers were looking for a mate for them, set Holly fits the bill. They just need to get her to love all three. While they protecting her the steam increases and sparks.

A must read with the writing so well developed and the story just flows. Mandy is one of my favorite authors!

Not empress. A nowhere storyline, if you like a lot of sexual page after page this is the book to pick up and read. Brief storytelling with little imagination. Wish Maya would of developed killing or even the tracking of the missing children or how Holly escaped her husband . . . needing more to sink the readers teeth into. I am a follower of your novels but I just felt the lack of substance.

Excellent read and well written. I recommend this book and the entire series to everyone. I was very hard to put down. When reading it on public transportation, it made me feel like I was the only one on the bus. It totally makes you forget about your surroundings. LOVE IT!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought this was well written and the pace was wonderful from start to finish. It was not overly sexual but well placed and tasteful, it helped me relate to the characters in the book. Good read, I only wish it lasted...

The character development and story were much more complex than usually found in erotic novels. It does have the inexplicable, immediate, powerful attraction, and fairly immediate sex with strangers that these novels favor, but... willing suspension of disbelief. The story has romance, sex (of course), as well as action and suspense, complete with a dangerous ex, and even murder. All in all, this is probably the best erotic romance I've read, and the short story at the end is the perfect cap to it- giving wonderful closure and sense of fulfillment, though I recommend that you read the (free, I think) short story Colters' Wife BEFORE the afterward of this book.

I have read this story probably 10 times.
It never gets old.
It's my go to story when I can't decide what I want to read. (4800 kindle books and some days I just don't know what I want!!)
There is every element you could want in a good story along with the perfectly imperfect *hot* men.
Danger, angst, excitement, love forever.
If you like a lengthy book, this is it. Doesn't drag really anywhere.

This book had soooo much potential!!! I ABSOLUTELY loved the story line. I loved the premise of them taking care of her. Wonderful! HOWEVER...to believe that a virgin has wonton sex immediately with 3 guys is a bit far fetched. And their sex scenes....give me a break...again you have this virgin who very shortly into the relationship gets penetrated by all 3. Come on!!!! A little build up would haven been more believable!

I wish I would have read the sample first because I never would have bought it. Right from the first few pages it's bad and only gets worse. The heroine Holly is utterly annoying and TSTL. I have not read any Maya Banks previously, but compared to Lora Leigh, Lorelei James, and Lori Foster - well there is just no comparison. If you're looking for really well written menage books with characters you actually like and sex scenes that are actually erotic - check out any of Lora Leigh's Bound Heart series (especially Forbidden Pleasure - the best in the series). Do not waste your money or your time on this book.

I do not really understand the whole three men having to be married to one woman. Why? Maybe somebody can explain it to me? I understand being married to one man and bringing in a third sometimes but I do not understand why three men has to be committed to one woman or how their kids cannot grow up confused. With that said, this is by far the best Menage book I have ever read but its also Maya Banks best book. I do agree with some of the reviews it would be nice to know more about each man, who was her parents and what made them famous, what happened to her in the 6 months she was not their ect. There was allot of loose things that could have been tied up. I thought the sex was really hot and very caring. I mean this was not lust, these men truly loved this woman and it showed in this book. Most menage books is all about the sex and they confuse it with love.

Great storyline and exciting reading. Loved the brothers, their woman and the dynamics of their relationship. The interactions and response to this relationship mirrors much of my own thought process and reactions. Thank you Maya for opening my mind to a different type of love. The story and the characters made reading this book pure joy.

Being forewarned was a case of being forearmed as to the sexually explicit scenes in this riveting novel of life with the Colter brother s. Very interesting plot with well developed characters, the book was entertaining when you overlooked the sex. Dottiek

I enjoyed the story very much. It had amazing erotic sciences and it had suspense in the story line. I loved how it ended with them having the 3 boys and how it describes the boys personalities as they grew up. And it ended with the birth of the only daughter.

I enjoyed the lifelike character's and pure love that was portrayed in this book. The characters bonds with each other were believable and not overdone. The feeling of danger at the end of the book felt real and was enough to really bring you into the book.

This books by Maya Banks is the most amazing erotic book I have ever read this author (banks) is so good I couldnt put the book down and I still read it over and over again, its that good. Its not just the sex that pulls you in, although it doesnt hurt its the story itself about the brothers (ethan, ryan and adam) themselves theyre just looking the the "One" and when they find her they do whatever is necessary to keep her and love her forever, the perfect story the perfect book you wont be disapointed truly you won't buy it keep it now you wont be sorry. Maya Banks truly one of the greats.

I liked how they drew together as a family...Holly started out as a young woman almost afraid of her own shadow--and with good reason--but grew into a very loving and strong woman and mother...excited about reading the other stories in this series!

This book reads like the script to your average porn movie.

I kept on getting the feeling it was written for a guys enjoyment. The whole menage-a-whatever with a virgin and all the other scenarios seemed all about the men only.

I can imagine that a lot of the 5-star reviewers were picturing themselves with 3 hot men stuck in a cabin and not looking at the weak, far-fetched storyline with all the gaps in the plot and unrealistic scenarios.

Or maybe that's where I went wrong ... buying this book for a storyline and plot.

I've enjoyed some of Maya Banks' other work so no idea what was going on here.

(Strangely, the redeeming factor was the new added 'meadow' scene at the end. Seemed like a different writer.)

What straight woman would not want three gorgeous men who can do all the cooking and cleaning. The most erotic phrase in the book is something like "we didn't ask you here because we expect you to be our work slave..." Oh, not to mention they're handsome hunks who know their way with a woman. Nuff said...
