I enjoyed this book, especially since it was longer than the first one in the series. However, the sheer amount of typos and grammar mistakes made the experience far less enjoyable than it would be otherwise. I hope that the author will not try to cut the costs on proof-reading and professional editing for the third book.

Finally a book without all the eye rolling, over the top story line, that are so prevalent in today's cultural entertainment. It's hard to find a book, movie, etc without the love triangles, unrealistic or impossible action scenes and of course the snappy catch phrases tossed around at the bad guys.

Decent enough, although a bit short and probably should have been combined with the first book. As far as Post-Apocalypse type books go, a bit unbelievable. Main character probably should have been defined as an older man as everything gets a bit unbelievable after a while. OK read but i'm done, probably won't go on to the next book in series.
Part Two (The Walking Dead Series) - The Fall of the Governor :: The Road to Woodbury (The Walking Dead Series) - The Walking Dead :: Walking on Her Grave (Rogue River Novella, Book 4) :: Heaven Sent (Rebel Walking #2) (Rebel Walking Series) :: Our Dirty Secret (A MFM Ménage Romance)

William Allen has fast become my favorite author. I accidentally stumbled upon his stories and let me tell you I am so very happy I did. His writing has grown with each book and the man is awesome at making you feel the characters plight.

I think the plot is very realistic. With the way the world is currently leveraged and the morality of the American people is tanking the story line is very probable. Although I find the protagonist Luke to be unrealistic. Too young.

This gospel according to post apocalyptic Luke retains enough real flavor to paint a fair picture of a real descent into hell. And thank goodness no zombies. While the story would be best in one volume I believe this effective serialization has worked in this instance. I look forward to where this talent may go next.

Very good book. Read well and entertaining. Good detail on survival issues. The grammar-word-editor could use improvement, but that doesn't diminish the story at all. Very real, very well done. A pleasure to read
