Connelly's writing is superb. Plots are concise with lots of twists. I bought both vol 1 and 2 along with several individual titles. I'm a big fan of most of the good mystery writers but Connelly is among the top 3

I read some recent Bosch novels and wanted to catch up from the beginning. This one books worked really well and I got to read one book right after the other. It arrived as descirbed and in good condition.

Another excellent compilation. I'd certainly recommend Michae'ls books to anyone enjoying a good read about police investigation, criminals, and how these impact on the lives those involved or are innocent.

All three stories are well researched and keep you guessing until the final twist and turns to the ending.
I'm just gettting into the Harrybosch series having read "the Drop" and am now backing up to the beginning
with this collection of three stories. I found it interesting that some of the characters and themes that are
in the later story, get there start in these early books.

I just finished the second book in Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series and I can't wait to begin book 3. I found his books to be fast paced and they held my interest thru out - even with a few unexpected events.

The first book I read by Michael Connelly was "The Lincoln Lawyer" featuring the defense lawyer, Micky Haller. I loved the story and characters and couldn't wait to read the next two books, "The Brass Verdict" and "The Reversal". I loved both books so much that when I looked for more in this series, i found the Detective Bosch stories which brings reader to beginning of story. Love it!,. books are well- written, great characters and stories that surprise you in the end.. Connelly's characters are like able yet flawed...they are human.

Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch stories are such a quick and exciting read. The stories always have a twist and keep you interested from beginning to end. I love cop shows and these books do not disappoint.

Harry is my favorite detective. I read all his novels. Not all terrific but much better than most. A little too much police politics at times. Like the father daughter stuff. Presents all the portraits into the life of a working man.

In 1992 Michael Connelly hit the jackpot with his creation of LAPD detective Harry Bosch. Connelly is the best detective thriller writer in the game today. Every single Harry Bosch books is amazing, and the first three are as good as it gets. Buy this book, you won't be disappointed.

I'm never disappointed in how Michael Connelly spins his stories. This is one of his best. If you enjoy detective mysteries, Connelly is your man. I especially like the way he builds the story going from the expected to the unexpected.

My husband is enjoying these books and the download was so easy to do. Just getting used to reading on a Kindle/I Pad is the adjustment....from reading from books. But it sure is lighter than a book. the store makes things so easy to do and safe, which is soooo important
