Metamorphosis (Book Boyfriend Series) (Volume 1)

This book was.... different. Let's start with the fact that Scarlett seemed to attract men like a sign that says "free beer!" but doesn't end up having sex with any of them until the end. And then there's the issue of being in love with one of them for majority of the book, then ending up with the other at the end. I must say I am mildly intrigued about the next book, but I'm not sure if I'm going to read it out not.

Scarlett has been forced to live a very sheltered life before going away to college. Her parents have controlled every aspect of her life: school, friends, clothing, and not allowing any dating whatsoever. Soon after she and her best friend Evie arrive, Scarlett begins seeing 3 different men. Ash, Dylan, and Mason are the guys and I don't want to give anything away but there was a twist I really wasn't expecting that changed everything. Looking forward to the next book.

This book takes you on a rollercoaster, unbelievable ride through the eyes of a beautiful, young woman who is simply trying to figure out who she is where she belongs and with whom she belongs. Surprises u anticipate and some you never would take you on a journey for he love we all seek. Scarlett, Ash, and Mason were incredibly well-developed characters the reader comes to know and love. This was like reading all your favourites in one book! What came to mind for me was Taking Chances, Thoughtless, On Dublin Street and few more.

A great story about a sheltered 18yr girl trying to break out into life from her strick parents aided by her bestfriend. And of course, it wouldnt be a contemp romance without the aid of the drop dead gorgeous male - well in this case 3!!!
Was a little long winded in some places but all in all a good book.

The truth is that i kept skipping purchasing this book for a long time.. I thought that it would be a light read and i'm really all about frustration and drama! Boy was i wrong... Nothing light about this book! Can't wait for the next book to be released.. After reading so many books they all kinda get a little bit predicted, even at the very first chapter.. Boy meets girl, they fall in love, something f***s up their relationship in the middle, gets resolved, end up together.. This is so not the case with "Metamorphosis".. You will definitely be pleasantly surprised with the twist.. Loved it!!!

This is the second time I've read Metamorphosis and it's even better this time around. Even knowing what was going to happen, I still cried. Erin does such an absolutely fantastic job of writing a story about friendship, love and loss and the growth that comes with it. Doesn't get any better than BBS! I'll be continuing with the series as soon as this posts!!!!!! Again, lol!

This book drilled every screw into the emotional roller coaster...so amazingly heartfelt, funny, witty, and HOT!!!! It was so unpredictable I'm still reeling. And I made note of a few of the girls favorite books that I haven't gotten to read!!

Wow, loved, loved, loved this book. The whole torn between two guys, gets amped up big time! I also love all the mentioning of so many other books and characters, made Scarlett seem so real. I can't wait for the sequel... how will I get by until then?? Please don't let me suffer alone, read this fantastic book, you will NOT be disappointed!

I only just started reading this series, and I have no clue what I was waiting for! There is so much hope, beauty, love and heartache in this story. I love the interaction between Scarlet and her friends, its so real! I love the extra references to other book boyfriends - adorable - especially since I've had similar conversations with friends. Cannot wait to keep reading more!

Just woooow!! I never saw that coming!!! Yikes!!! what an incredible way to end this book. I truly enjoyed every single moment of this story, she just came alive through out the book in such an incredible way a love stroy and a story of life all together!!

You won't regret this one. My addiction to romance books loved the constant referrals from all ranges of bdsm, paranormal, and contemporary books. There are so many levels of love (family, friends, lovers) that tears through this story it's gut wrenching. I love the strength of characters in this one.

WOW! I hope Erin Noelle knows she truly hit every emotion with Book Boyfriend series.. This is truly an awesome life fulfilled series. If you've not had a chance to read the entire thing, you are really missing out. I have laughed, cried, gotten angry, frustrated, confused, been in love and awe, and heart broken. I loved every minute of it. I truly felt like I was witnessing all of it, and the music titles so you you could imagine the music as you go. Absolutely wonderful. Definitely worth reading again, and again.

I enjoyed the writing style of Noelle. Getting to know the tangled web of characters and watch the story unfolding was fantastic! I can't help but wonder more about her relationship with Ash....was this really the ending???

Beautiful story of love in many facets of life. Scarlett discovers herself among the men she encounters. Love story that is a page turner and makes you want more! Sequel "Ambrosia" is the next novel by Erin Noelle! Can't wait to read this one too!

This is my second time reading this book. The first time was about 9 months ago, and I LOVED it just as much then. Be prepared to bawl your eyes out and laugh your butt off....ok, maybe that was a little extreme! But in all seriousness, this book is up there with my top favs and I roughly go through 2 books a week. Great read!!!

College student Scarlet moves in with her best friend to start her freshman year of college. They decide to try to date guys similar to the guys in their romance novels with some interesting encounters. There is heartbreak and laughter, and one thing that totally destroys Scarlet, which I had a hard time reading. Great read!

It's true that love stories have similar endings and usually that's what matters but the ways that led you to the end is as significant as the end.

I wonder what will happen to Scarlett... If she'll end up with the guy she loves or the guy who loves her... Either way, there's always someone who'll not get what one wants as we can't have everything we wished for.

This is a good read! I couldn't put the book down even with my sleepy eyes as I am eager to know who the best man wins

Ladies, hold onto you shorts, this book has 2 book boyfriends who put most of the others to shame! Ash, the player who finally falls in love, yet never acts on it out of his love for her! Mason, who, OMG, can be my "Coach" any day! In all actuality, this book is so much more than Book Boyfriends. It's about love, loss and moving on, highly recommend this book!

Were do I even start? This book was well written, I loved the characters!! It has so many book boyfriends that its so hard to choose just one!! I was up ALL night reading this book because I could not put it down!! You will become addicted to this series and hope it never ends!!

Read this book based on recommendations/reviews and fell in love. Well written, great story. Did not expect the tragedy that happened or how it ended. I am torn between Mason and Ash. After reading other reviews I am hoping there is a second book. Hopefully Ashton can redeem himself.

This is a really really great book.

I enjoyed this far more than most of this genre. It was much more realistic than your average love triangle story and was a great read. Can't wait for the next book!

I was so into Metamorphosis that I missed sleep! This book pulled you in and wrapped around you. I don't do synopsis or spoilers but I can tell you that this book made me cry and smile! I loved the men in this story but I am definitely Team Mason!

I loved this book. It was heart breaking and so, so good. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a story that shows youthful mistakes and breaks your heart a little. Great book and I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

Believable character development, intruiging storyline, worth the time. This story has unexpected sorrow followed by a happy ending. A story about an inexperienced college girl whose only boyfriends consisted of fictious characters in young adult novels. Through the help of her best friend she escapes her controlling parents, tries out a few types of men while still keeping her virtue, and in the end discovers through heartache who she wants to be and who she wants to spend her life with.

Someone suggested I read this book a couple weeks ago. I would look at it and forget. Needless to say once I actuLly picked it up and started reading I was hooked. Love Scarlett elvie ash and most of all mason!!! Double yumm

OMG ..... This book was amazing!!!! Scarlet loosing her best friend, looking to find her self, and the 2 boys in her life to figure out which one is the one! I loved loved loved this book!! I can't wait to read more about her :)
