Murder in the Mystery Suite (A Book Retreat Mystery)

Lovely first book to a new series! I cannot wait, seriously, cannot wait for more. I love the concept, love the characters, and the scenery. Ms Adams really shines with this one. I cannot believe I have to now wait until next summer.

Way too much suspension of disbelief required. A magical hideaway of books, guardians who are basically like Ninjas? Ugh.. I normally really really like Ellerey Adams, but this was way too much. Won't be following this series.

I really like the storyline in this book. It reminds me of Carolyn Hart's books, particularly the Christie Caper. The references to books and authors is something I enjoy, I try to see how many of them I have personally read! This is a nice, easy read for an afternoon.

This was fun read that kept me entertained to the very end. The main character was a delight. I liked that she was a little older and had young sons.she had depth and humor. The plot kept me guessing and the descriptions of the inn were excellent. All in all a great read.i

I love cozy mysteries; but being an English teacher, I loathe trite and formulaic ones. This one has enough story twists and delightful characters that the obvious metaphors and certainties can be overlooked.
