I've really enjoyed all the books in this series, lots of intrigue and a good back story. I liked this one especially because of all the history. So few of us know anything about this area and bein able to share all the history of the area made it so much better.

Olivia, Chief Rawlings and her poodle Haviland are going on a short honeymoon on Palmetto Island, then meeting up with their fellow Bayside Book Writers for The Legends of Coastal Carolina Festival. Silas Black, who produces a highly rated television show, is there filming segments of the festival. He is the main attraction and it should bring in extra revenue for the Island. When a murder occurs, there are a huge list of suspects and Olivia and Rawlings are determined to figure out who had done it and why. This book had a lot of twists and turns and kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put it down and I didn't know who the murderer was until the end. Ellery Adams is a wonderful author and I highly recommend this series!

Writing All Wrongs is the seventh book in the series, and it brings us along on Olivia's and Rawlings' delayed honeymoon, to Palmetto Island. They, along with Olivia's poodle Haviland, are headed to The Legends of Coastal Carolina Festival to enjoy good food and great fun.
Celebrity Silas Black is also in attendance, and not everyone is pleased. History and ghost stories seem to be coming to life. A body is found, and a friend is a suspect.
Olivia, Rawlings, Haviland and friends are trying to figure out where the clues lead, and how they fit together.
This was a fun book and I really enjoyed it!

I received this book early so I could preview it. I loved this book. It kept me going until the end. I had guessed who I thought was the killer and in the end I was surprised with someone I never even thought of . There is always something happening so it keeps you turning pages. I recommend this book highly. If you like a whodunit that keeps you guessing , this is for you. If you like a book that keeps your interest all the way to the end, this is your book. If you just like a fun and easy read, this is your book. You won't be sorry you read it.

The Bayside group-Olivia, Haviland, the Chief, Harris, Millay and Laurel-have found themselves in the middle of a haunting mystery with enough sub plots to keep you guessing. The characters involved, including story telling locals, a narcissistic author/TV Star and a zealot environmentalist, have so many hidden agendas that I devoured the book at a pace that rivaled the best speed reader. The story is set during a festival on a secluded island during which local lore is being reenacted in a deadly way. I love Ellery Adam’s writing style and her ability to make these characters (even the suspects) have redeeming qualities. Olivia’s kindness and empathy for others is so refreshing in our “me centered” world. The saddest part is reading the last page.

Now that she's married....I look forward to seeing many more books in the series involving her Chief of Police husband.

Wow. Ellery Adams did it again. In this 7th book of the series. I love Olivia and her newly married love of her life chief rawlings those two are great together. But as usual Olivia finds a body and let's say the fun begins. With laura, millay,Harris who are the Bayside book writers club. And of course Haviland they keep you in suspense. I love this series and I am so looking forward to the next book to see what these guys get into. Hugs

Very poor entry in the series. A reader starting the series with this book would not likely try the earlier books. The protagonist are sanctimonious and self-righteous. Of course, Emmett should not be a suspect; he is Olivia's friend and she does not want him to be involved. Of course, Silas and Amy have to be strong suspects because they are not likable to Oilvia and Silas is a friend of her biological father who Olivia still does not trust. And of course, despite Silas not being the killer, it is still his fault for causing all the violence because of an action he took 30-35 years earlier, He did not physically harm anyone, but damaged the career of the killer so it is still his fault that a killer decided to kill other innocents trying for retribution. Absolutely idiotic! Oliva acted like an immature middle-schooler, and her friends were not much better. I was hoping Emmett would be the killer to shut Olivia up. Millay needs a new mind, not a second novel or to change her appearance. And Chief Rawlings has become absolutely ridiculous, discussing whether the local police officer was corrupt or incompetent simply the officer is not approaching as Rawlings would. These characters were simply not likable.

I will not be buying another entry in this series.
