I was really looking forward to Ace's story because he was like the black sheep of the family. So I was one hundred percent sure that I was going to love this book. Did I love it? I will let you know in a second, but first let me give a little information about the story. This is the fourth book in the billionaire aviator series and Ace, along with his three brothers, has to get married or they will not receive their inheritance. Ace took his father's words the hardest and found solace by joining the CIA. All the other brothers are married now (spoiler alert) and enjoying the family lifestyle and meanwhile, Ace is returning home after being injured while working on a case. While attending one of his brother's wedding, he meets Dakota and the story takes off.

Now, I really liked book 1 and book 3 of this series(book 2 was not that good) and I could not wait to read Ace's story. Ace was the most interesting, besides Nick, and I think that is why the author waited to the last book of the series to explore his story. The book had a hot hero and a "I am not a victim" heroine to carry this story, but this book was borderline cartoonish. I am a huge fan of Melody Anne, but this book was a "no" for me. This book is written in third person pov and it was wordy with almost no real dialogue for the romance aspect of the story. Ace is not interesting one bit and yes, he is a CIA agent and a total gun toting bad ass, but that was it for the most part. The character that I was eager to read about practically disappeared and I was left with the shell of his former self. Dakota on the other hand was no better. She was a 27 year old cheerleader and wait for it …. A virgin no matter. I absolutely hate when authors make 27 through 30 year old virgins without a probable cause. Dakota was a social butterfly and it just did not tie in with her character. The ending was very cliché and could have been left out and it wouldn't have made much of a difference.

This story was unrealistic, cartoonish, and the main characters was boring with no real chemistry. The last 70% of the book is supposed to be this CIA mission type of thing and even that falls flat. I am so disappointed with this story.

Turbulent Intrigue
By: Melody Anne
??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️??

CIA AGENT AND NFL CHEERLEADER SMOKIN??

Turbulent Intrigue sums this fast passed book perfectly. Ace a CIA agent that has been out of his family's life for eight long years. Being undercover as the pilot in a four year operation. Not knowing he works for the CIA he's aloud his family to believe the worst. Ace will do whatever to keep them safe even if it breaks him in the process. He just needs this case to end so he can try and make it up to them.

Dakota is a firecracker the youngest child of five and the only girl she can take care of herself. She is in her final year as an NFL cheerleader and is planning her next step. She plans to become a pilot.

Spark fly when Ace and Dakota meet but neither are looking for a love connection. During her best friends wedding to Nick, Ace's brother uncle Sherman the love connection master mind sets it up to send Ace and Dakota up in the sky as Ace is the one teaching her to fly.

With break-ins, car bombs and other very suspicious thing keep happening Ace is convinced someone is after those he loves. Will he run or stay and fight? Will Dakota mean enough to him to fight for happiness. Will Dakota let a alpha male take over parts of who she wants to be? Ultimately can Ace let his guard down and trust others to help him when he needs help. The chemistry between these two is off the charts, with a female character who will fight Ace to be independent and selfish in the sassiest way.

Melody Anne as usual keeps you on the edge of your seat hoping for the perfect ending.!

Written in dual POV...my personal favorite.

This book was very well written, easy to read and absolutely scorching sex. Congrats a great book that will make you squirm.

Thanks you Netgally for the opportunity to read and review.

Melody hit a good book here. I have been following this series from the beginning. You will need to keep tissues close in this one. This is a very busy story line. Ace has finally come home from 8 yrs undercover. He is in time for Nick 's wedding with Chloe. Chloe is best friend of Dakota. Ace and Dakota fall for each other. Ace has a problem from his last job. He is looking for trouble with Nester taking Anton's drug cartel. Dakota doesn't know if she wants Ace. Spoiler. Be prepared for the trouble to Ace. He is worried but everyone else think it is just a coincidence. There is a call for lots of bullets in this story. The hospital is sure getting a lot of people. There is a big surprise at the end of this book. I like this book. It is a good read. It is 37 chapters but I still read it in 2 days. I would recommend this to only adults to read this story. Enjoy reading this story. You won't regret it! I volunteered to read and review this book.

I’ve been anticipating Ace’s story since this series began. There’s just been that something about the youngest bad boy brother that drew me in to his story. It seemed he was the hardest hit, emotionally, by his father’s plan laid out in his will. And perhaps the one brother we knew the least about, except that he truly had been labeled the “black sheep’ of his family. I have to say that Ace’s story was worth every moment I scanned titles and looked for release dates.

Ace has spent so many years deep undercover as a CIA agent. All that hard work has finally paid off with a huge bust. Injured, Ace has returned home believing that life can now move on, that it might finally be safe to be home with his brothers and their wives. One of the reasons he’s stayed away was to avoid bringing his undercover troubles to his family’s doorstep. Now seems the time to recoup, relax and try to rebuild his relationships with his family. But life doesn’t always go as planned.

Dakota is such a unique character, a bit different from what we’d normally expect in Melody Anne’s heroines… and I absolutely loved her. She has a certain quirk (that the author tells us about upfront) that is endearing and brings a chuckle every time. I’ll let you discover what that is yourself. She’s strong, independent, sexy, beautiful and has her life planned out. She certainly wasn’t expecting her reaction to her best friend’s new bad boy brother-in-law, but hey she’s not one to back down from a flirt.

Turbulent Intrigue is my favorite story of this series, and I don’t admit to favorites often. Ace and Dakota make a perfect couple in that their strengths and weaknesses are offset by each other. Neither takes crap from anyone, each is stubborn especially when they believe they are right. They simply worked as a couple for me, and I had no doubts that they belonged together. There is danger, intrigue, threads of the mystery leading back to Ace’s CIA work to be caught up on. The enjoyment of seeing two strong people come to realize that yeah, even they can fall in love. And the wonderful interactions of this whole family to enjoy. Everyone has each other’s back without question, that’s what family does.

I’m going to miss the Armstrong boys and their ladies, it’s been such an adventure with them all. But Sherman and Joseph aren’t quite done with their matchmaking just yet. Seems Dakota has some single brothers, and the matchmakers plus one are already whispering in quiet corners… looking forward to what comes next from Melody Anne’s imagination.

If you’re looking for a story with intrigue, interesting characters, some fun sexy moments, a deep true love and the special moments that only family can provide… then Turbulent Intrigue and this entire series should be on your reading shelf. I would highly recommend them for any Romance reader. Indulge yourself and enjoy.

M/F Thriller Romance
Triggers: Stalking, Kidnapping, Attempted Murder
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Ace and Dakota are an explosive couple.

Dakota is a strong, knows what she wants type of woman and despite her bravado and spunk, she does have some insecurities that you only catch glimpses of. Her best friend, Chloe is marrying a hunk of a guy and Dakota is now part of the family. The one brother that she hasn't met yet, Ace, is mysterious and elusive. But, putting him aside, Dakota knows that her days as a cheerleader are numbered and she wants to follow in her brothers' footsteps - she wants to become a pilot. When she signs up for lessons, she gets much more than she bargained for.

Ace has lived the past several years of his life as someone else. In order to protect his family from his career, he pushed them away. Being an operative has its drawbacks, but he loves what he does and he is very good at it. When his case completes, he is injured and reeling. He finds himself once again surrounded by his family, which is both comforting and slightly uncomfortable.

When Ace sees Dakota, he's instantly intrigued. She is confident, doesn't take his lip and knows what she wants. Dakota is just as taken with Ace's charm and good looks. They follow a bumpy road to romance and there is a lot of action. This was fast paced, fun and had some great development.

I hope we get to see more of this family.

Melody Anne’s “Billionaire Aviators Series” is still as intense as the passion that smolders between the protagonists, choppy and turbulent as the waters and skies they ride and just as warm and lovely as the Armstrong brothers try to find love albeit the demands of their father’s will.

Years in the CIA kept Ace Armstrong away from his family, to protect and to serve his purpose. And finally comes the time to clear the misunderstandings and bridge the gap between siblings and what a sibling wedding seems to be the perfect setup to clear the air and recuperate from injuries. But Ace never saw the turbulence called Dakota Forbes entering his life and he’s not sure if Dakota is more dangerous to his life or the intriguing threats that are dogging him, placing his family in danger.

The ever positive, and charming Dakota Forbes wants to live life to the fullest. With a smart mouth and a sassy attitude, she keeps Ace on his toes and his heart in flitters, all the while hoping to keep her distance from the dangerous Ace. But then heart and mind never are in tandem, and with Dakota getting into the crosshairs of Ace’s dangerous past, she’s forced to stick close to Ace…finally giving her heart and soul to her future.

The final book in the Billionaire Aviators Series, “Turbulent Intrigue” is a wonderful ending to the Armstrong siblings’ saga. Coming together finally after their father’s death, clearing misunderstandings and finding their futures, coming together as one to fight back against the danger that comes to their doorstep, Melody Anne did a brilliant job giving a perfect ending to their stories.

Melody Anne has definitely written another fantastic book. Turbulent Intrigue is a great read. I love how Melody intertwines characters from other series. It just works and works without being over bearing. I have read every single book I can find of hers and this one is right up on the top.

Ace definitely intrigued me as did Dakota. At first I thought she was a little pushy but it works and she is perfect for Ace. The way she writes, I simply don't have the correct words to describe, Melody Anne is simply Perfect in my eyes.

I don't think you need to read the other books, but I highly recommend that you do. It's an experience worth having. She is a great writer.

Turbulent Intrigue accurately describes Ace and Dakota. I only wish I had words as great as you Ms. Melody Anne! But since I don't I will have to continue to get lost in your words and getting lost in this fantastic book is just I needed and every other reader out there needs to do.

Thank you so much for Turbulent Intrigue is was AWESOME!!!!

Another satisfied reader-looking for more...

Go and get this one folks you will absolutely love it as much as I do.

Ace finally returns home after being out of touch for a few years. He has secrets. His two older brothers have married and have kids. Nick is getting married soon. He’s not sure what direction his life is going to take. Does he continue doing what he’s been doing, or does he grow roots with his family?

Dakota Forbes is a smart, independent, beautiful, sassy, big-hearted, speaks her mind woman. She is Chloe’s (his brother Nick’s fiancé) best friend. She is an NFL cheerleader looking to change careers and become a pilot.

When Dakota and Ace meet, sparks fly. Dakota sees a wounded soul she wants to heal and Ace sees a notch to add to his bedpost. Dakota makes Ace work for her attention because she wants to get to know the man behind the mask. Unfortunately, Aces past follows him home and endangers Dakota and his family.

I was really looking forward to Ace’s story but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I had some reality issues with a couple scenes. The romance seemed to drag at times. Not my favorite in the series.

This probably is my favorite out of all the books in this series.

And Melody Anne has outdone herself in this one, for sure.

Ace has been appearing as the lost brother in the previous books, and has caused trouble with his brothers over the past years. I am glad that in this book we see what's going on his mind and what really happened to him that he distanced himself from his family.

I also loved Dakota since the previous book. Talk about a woman who knows what she wants and confident enough to go for it. My only reservation on her in this book was that although she was deemed a fighter and a feisty woman, she didn't really fight much here - only until the end. But still a very good heroine for me. Very entertaining too the way she put men on their toes.

I love this series because not only are they romantic, it shows values and the closeness of a family that supports and love each other. This is what makes Melody Anne books unique.

I am looking forward to Dakota's brothers books as this one seems to be hinting that way. I can't wait.

Had looked forward to reading about Ace, who had been estranged from his family eight years. Although the "baby brother," Ace was his family's protector—he missed them every day & longed to return home. Mentions of Ace in books 1-3 portrayed him as a super alpha male. Sadly (for me), there was no question Dakota (Chloe's best friend & wife to Nick in book 3) would be the love interest in book 4.
Had hoped Melody Anne would not change Ace into a wimp as occurred with brother Nick (book 3). Unfortunately, alpha Ace began mutating into anything but an alpha male almost from word one.
Do not understand the penchant to turn men into weaklings, who, in exchange for sex, accept rings through their noses. Didn't complete even a third of this story.

Talk about saving the best for last. Ace was the perfect brother to close out The Billionaire Aviators series. The mysterious brother with a chip on his shoulder and a thirst for danger. He's a master at flaunting his pilot skills but not so skilled at opening his heart. The secrets don't end with emotional blinders. Pride has lead him down a road of loneliness and intrigue that is as complex and explosive as the man himself. Walking the edge been good guy and dangerous man, can love save him from himself? The thrills may be bigger and the danger more intense. Turbulent Intrigue brings a breathtaking, eye catching and heartwarming conclusion to a hot series.

After working undercover for several years in the CIA Ace Montgomery finally comes home. He's not sure how accepting his brothers will be, especially Maverick.

Now that he's home his Uncle Sherman recommends him to give his sister-in-law's best friend Dakota Forbes flight lessons. These two will have a lot of fun getting to know each other.

But the fun will turn to danger when a case from Ace's past will resurface.

This is a really great series and it looks like we can look forward to another spin off if Uncle Sherman and Joseph Anderson work their magic.

I love the Armstrong brothers and each of their stories! Melody saved the best for last!

Ace, the unknown brother, the one who is only briefly mentioned in the other books, has a reason for his disappearance from the family and in this book, it all comes out. I love the way all the brothers stand behind one another, the family bond, the obvious love.

I recommend this book, I recommend this series! You'll love them!!! I'm sad the series has come to an end but if Uncle Sherman and Joseph Anderson have any say in the matter, a new series will emerge soon! I for one am looking forward to it!

Loved this book! Ace finally comes home, but still has a feeling that he's being followed. While he's trying to get back to a normal life, he falls head over heels for Dakota. Dakota is a spunky gal who knows what she wants.
When his old life comes back to haunt him, Dakota gets caught in the crossfire. Ace finds out the meaning of your family has your back and his brothers are just as determined to get Dakota.
I love how this ends, and can't wait for the next series ❤️

A really enjoyable, fast paced romance from a hugely talented author! This is the fourth (and final) in the Billionaire Aviators series, and although it was quite clear that the other Armstrong brothers had their own stories this in no way spoiled my enjoyment in Ace and Dakota's story.

I loved Ace Armstrong and Dakota Forbes, both as individuals and as a romantic pair. Dakota embodied strength and confidence without being arrogant and obnoxious, and Ace was strong and protective, but still willing to step back when his inclination was to wrap all those he loved in cotton wool!!!The plot was exciting from the very beginning when we're introduce to Ace the CIA Agent and didn't let up until the final pages. Their romance was equally well written from their first meeting an,d aside from a couple of 'too stupid to live' moments from Dakota (which is par for the course in most romances so I'm not holding it against Anne) I enjoyed the pair of them throughout!

This series is (very loosely) connected to Anne's 'Anderson' series and unless I've totally misread the end of the book has set things up for Dakota's brothers to be the next bachelor's to kiss their single lives goodbye.

Joseph Anderson and Uncle Sherman are back to their meddling ways in this action packed story of estranged Armstrong brother Ace.
CIA operative Ace is injured and on leave has to reacquaint himself with family/civilian life till his next mission. Enter Dakota with her strong personality leading to fun banter and heated sexual exchanges, that is until things start coincidentally happening around the Armstrong family.
Fantastic story of meeting ones match, revenge and the meaning of family

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This was the last book in series, and I have not read the others, but I will because I want more background. This book keeps you on your toes, it is full of drama, and tight family. Ace is the brother, that his family is worried is on the wrong side, but the truth does come out. He ends up meeting Dakota at his brothers wedding, and the sparks fly. Then the excitement begins...

This book was just the right ending for the series. The prodical son (brother) returns. Even though this is the typical alpha male protects, fails and saves the girl. It is the way the charters react. When Ace felt like resisting Dakota, he did not keep away. Some books keep the lead male in the resistance mode way too long. Dakota was a refreshing virgin. So many are not as firse as her. Her flirtatious nature was great. Just because you don't give yourself fully does not mean a relationship is not sexually intimate. GO DAKOTA

As with all the books in this series, I anxiously awaited the arrival of Ace's book. I've enjoyed each of the Armstrong brother's stories, their lives, their loves and their adventures but since Ace had been away from the family for almost a decade, his story was very intriguing. I was excited waiting for this book and Melody Anne did not disappoint! The characters have depth, they struggle and the find their way to a better place through love. Their is action, intrigue, romance steamy and sweet and a worth the struggle happily ever after.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
I loved how her books are interconnected ( Joseph Anderson makes a cameo )
Ace is a CIA agent.
He just finished a big undercover case, and he is taking some down time.
He wants to relax, but he has an uneasy feeling. He does not know why.
Dakota is so full of life. Ace is immediately fascinated by her.
They are openly flirting w/ each other.
Little accidents start to happen around Dakota + Ace.
Is someone seeking revenge ?
When danger comes calling, it will take all of the Armstrong clan to keep everyone safe.
It was such a strong ending for this series.
I hope that we get to see a spin-off. ( Maybe Dakota's brothers are next )
