Barrington Billionaire's Series - One White Lie

Okay book. The thoughts of every character on every line became a bit redundant and overdone however. Sometime the reader likes to imagine the thoughts of a character-- not have them spelled out over and over. Good storyline. I just grew a little tired of reading all the thoughts in the character's heads.

The author spent so much time providing the character's thoughts. "Does he want me?", "Has he changed?", bah bah bah. I literally skipped over pages in the book because of these repeated thoughts. I liked Ruth Cardello's books better.

I loved the but almost stopped reading it because with almost 98% of every page that you turned you were either a page ahead of the story line or repeated the last page. I missed alot of the story where it just stopped in the middle of talking or action. It was difficult to follow but im stubborn. If you read just the first chapter you will und we understand but does continue through whole book. Excellent story line that is why I had to finish.

Synopsis sounded very interesting as I'm a sucker for a second chance romance. Nope. There was nothing romantic about these two. H is a jerk and h is a doormat with no self respect. In addition, there are huge gaps in the story. A death bed confession that changes everything seems important enough to include in the story, I would think, but no. I kept flipping back pages to see if I had accidentally turned two at a time. I hadn't. Glad the book was free so i don't have to try returning it.

Cold hearted billionaire who leaves breaks up with his girlfriend to further his career. Three years later he unknowingly hires her and finds out he still desires her. The woman falls immediately back into his arms and they live happily ever after. There was nothing special about this book and the heroine was really a pushover. Please get this book for free. Don't pay it's not worth it.
